I had Zach and Julius help with my move and I cannot say enough good things about them! They were super quick, very careful with my things, and had fun energy that they brought to the job. Moving is already stressful, but these two made it wayyyy less painful. Then I got my final total for the move and was ASTOUNDED at how low it was. It cost about 1/3rd of what my last move cost! Horrible company! We hired this company to move a hot tub that was in perfectly good working condition and filled with water and running prior to the move. They told us to be there on a Friday for the move. We drove 1 hour to be present for the move only for them to tell us to come back tomorrow. We came back the next day (1 hour drive again) and waited over 5 hours and they once again told us they weren't going to make it in time and would need to move it the next day (Sunday). We had prior plans that day and couldn't be present for the move but gave clear instruction to place the control panel facing the electrical box. When we got home a panel was broken off the side and it was facing the wrong direction. We notified Jim and he sent 2 guys out a few day's later to rotate the hot tub. Two guys arrived with no equipment. They placed the hot tub up on its side and rotated it. When they went to lower it they lost control and dropped it from shoulder height and it slammed down to the concrete breaking another panel. When we filled the hot tub with water and turned it on it began rapidly leaking out the bottom from an obvious internal crack. My husband contacted Jim Brand and he contacted the guys who moved it that day. They admitted to dropping the hot tub. At that time he said he would send someone out to take a look. We have been blown off for 3 months now and when my husband spoke to him today he began denying it was their fault and started cursing and yelling. Unbelievable. Would give less than one star if I could. Booked movers a month in advance and never heard anything about confirmation, despite U-HAUL's website saying the company would reach out the next day. I called a week before my move to confirm and the guy said he would call the day before to confirm. Long story short, the two guys showed up 1.5 hours late, and told me they had somewhere else to be before the 2 hours I purchased were over. They came with no moving supplies or equipment, and told me there was no way they'd be able to unload my full U-haul in the two hours. I called the contact from the company who SCREAMED at me on the phone and provided the worst service (if I can even call it that) imaginable. Our movers gave us a call to let us know that they were available to come 15 minutes early! They showed up prepared and got to work right away. They carefully wrapped all of our belongings and were super quick and efficient. They also had to carry a washer and dryer up to the second floor and it was super heavy and they did it without complaint! This company has terrible customer service and a huge lack of communication and accountability. I booked 2 movers for April 29th for 2 hours a month in advance through UHaul. During a whole month I never got a confirmation email, call, or message from them to confirm the move. I emailed them a few days prior to the move to confirm the move and request the time. I let them know I rented my moving truck for an 8:30 pick up so I wanted the movers in the morning to be able to take advantage of the truck. I rented my truck from 8:30am - 1:00pm, given that the moving distance was only 15 minutes away and we didn't have that many stuff to load, we even took as many stuff as we could the day before to make sure we could take advantage of the movers helping us out in the morning with the heavier stuff. The night before the move I received a text from Jim, the owner, confirming the move and asking for a time, I told him I was getting my truck at 8:30 so I asked if the movers could be there at 9:00am, he agreed. The next morning, the pick up location for the truck was changed to a location just 10 minutes away, but just to be safe I asked Jim at 8:30am if we could move the time to 9:30am so I could be back by the time the movers got there, I never got a response. I got the truck and got home at 9:15, since I never got confirmation from Jim that they would be there at 9:30, I decided to call to confirm. I told him I was already there and we got the truck so they could come already, to which Jim informed me that his movers were still in Denver and it would take them an hour to get there. After an hour I called again to check, it took me about 3 calls and unanswered texts until I finally got through and I was told that they were still 30 minutes away. They ended up arriving around 11:15am and they told my husband that they would need 3 hours to get it done because of the delay, which is a delay on their side so we shouldn't have to pay them overtime just because they couldn't get here on time after they agreed to be here by 9. I had booked this company back in January to move the same exact things and those movers got it done real quick and did an excellent job, these movers took longer to move stuff, they were late, and kept asking us what we did for work. They responded to my email inquiring about the time on May 2nd, after the move already happened. The email response said they could be there at 9, responding to my email which clearly stated the move was on April 29th, I politely responded to their email by saying the move already happened and expressed that I was disappointed with how late they were, to which their response was ''Listen Linda, I pretty sure I know better than you if you moved already'' and then explained he didn't know if he had responded to me over text yet and apologized, which is understandable but the first comment was unprofessional and unnecessary. I let him know this was an unprofessional response and that I would expect them to be more professional given all the inconveniences we were caused (especially since we had to pay more on the truck because of their delay) but he responded by telling me to have some sense of humor and that he had a truck accident and his daughter died which is why he responded that way. I totally understand dealing with grief and stress and I'm sorry you're dealing with that, but that is no excuse to be rude to someone. read more

First the company forgot my reservation and were therefore several hours late on my moving day. Loading the trailer went ok but during the onload they broke 3 out 4 wheels of a cabinet I have. They also broke a leg on my couch. They didn't assemble my bed. They also lost my vacuum cleaner and various other items that I saw them take down to the trailer. To top it off one of the guys developed an attitude during the end of unloading, jerking furniture around and not showing any regard for my belongings. My move took a total of 3 hours as I don't have a lot of stuff and I'm not sure why the guy developed a negative attitude. I was very disappointed in the overall experience. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If only you could provide 0 starts. We hired this company to move our stuff into our new home last weekend. They were extremely negligent. They caused a TON of damage to our newly built home as well as various pieces of furniture. They called us a b****. When we spoke to the owner Josh he apologized and assured us everything would get repaired/replaced, to send him photos and then he'd give us a call. We haven't heard from him since. He proceeded to charge our card on file without authorization and will not answer our calls or emails. He answers other calls because we tested that from a friend's phone. The only number you can call for this "company" goes to various sales people working from home who have all been incredibly helpful, and the only option they have is to transfer me to the "internal team" - this goes to Josh's voicemail which is of no use to us. I am absolutely shocked that this is how they'd operate, even after sending an email confirmation stating they'd repair their damages. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, if I could even call them that. They may be cost-competitive but don't fall for it. You'll be paying far more to repair damages or replace your items. read more

Great experience with the Fantastic Movers team! I booked via Yelp and email communication with the owner, and she was able to get us the date and time we requested. The movers called ahead when they were on their way, and were actually earlier than scheduled which was a nice surprise. They loaded up our storage unit and then unloaded their truck and a storage pod that we had delivered at our new house in around 3 hours, which was way less than we originally anticipated so that was an awesome bonus. The team was professional, polite and very helpful. They were able to move things quickly but with care, and handled any heavy items with ease. Zack and Trey came to do our move today and they did such an amazing job. We lived in a three story apartment with a tight stair case, it was a very difficult move and they didn't complain once. Using the Thumbtack app I made an apt for Friday to move one item from my garage to my basement. This should have been a quick job for the $125 charge. They offered a 3PM appt and I explained that I could take that as long as I could leave the house by 4:20 for an apt. This was excepted. Friday I get a call from their mover at 3 that he cannot arrive until 4PM. I explain that we will have to reschedule. Their appt person offered 2-3PM on Saturday. I took this and come Saturday they don't show up at all. I text in the app with no answer. Call their answering service and am told I am not in their system at all. I was told they would call the manager and get back to me. Nothing! If you like being ghosted, these are your guys. read more

I hired this company for my move in September in which my television was damaged. Before the move it was just fine and after the move there is now a hissing noise coming from the left speaker. When I called to report the issue the gentleman I spoke with said he would call me back and schedule for a repair person to look at the damage. Since then I have not had any call backs or even a call answered. I now have to file a claim and even dispute the charge as we were not able to come to a resolution. They provided me 2 movers after promising 3. One was a small kid about 19 years old who was drinking on the job the other was a 59 year old man who took continuous smoke breaks. DO NOT USE! We had a move scheduled the last weekend in July and they didn't complete the move. Only arrived with part of our items (some of which were damaged) we tried calling multiple times and no one answered our calls, emails, or texts. It was apparent our number was being blocked, we ended up having to pay a different company to move the remaining items and we will never use this company again. In May we had a move from Denver Colorado to west Texas. The actual load move an unload went smoothly. When we arrived in Texas our toolbox was left behind. It was an honest mistake we understood things happen, but they stated they would get it taken care of it for us. The company wanted to ship it but due to the weight that would cost $750. I didn't want to take this much from a small company so we came to an agreement that on July 3rd they had another move to Texas and would bring the toolbox at that time. That's 2 months after the move, but I decided we could wait they were trying to do the right thing, so I agreed to be flexible. July 5th I called since I hadn't heard from them. I was told I would receive a call back. Today is august 12 my husband and I have called multiple times. At first we were told they would get with the owner and call us back. Now we've called, texted emailed and have not heard anything. I gave this company 3 months to fix their mistake and instead of just returning a call or communicating with us they are ignoring us. Now we're are out hundreds of dollars worth of tools and a custom made toolbox. I do not recommend this company! if you get lucky things will go smoothly, but if something goes wrong, instead of fixing their mistakes and trying to make things right they will just ignore your calls. We gave them plenty of opportunities to fix this mistake and make this right. Do not gamble with your money, or belongings! read more
