Jim was great! I am neurodivergent, and changed my move date 3x (in the same month) due to timing issues ets. I even called once after a panic attack about getting everything done. He was so kind, and so patient and communicated with me through the whole process-letting me know when they were on their way, and again at the end of service. The movers were ABSOLUTE rockstars! They probably hauled out as much stuff as the put on the truck. They were able to dump what I needed, load me in, AND load me out for the new place in FIVE hours! The price is absolutely reasonable! $90 and hour plus the truck fee. (for my circumstances, YMMV) Not a wall was bumped, nor any item broken. We even cracked jokes a bit during that time. This has been my most seamless, and easy move, in my LIFE ! (And Ive moved cross country several times) I love where I am at so now plans to move anytime soon, BUT I will be reccommending them to anyone who asks, and when I do decide to move, they are definitely the first comapny I am going to look for. Honestly I was a bit nervous after quoting so many other movers who charges twice more than the quote I got from fantastic movers, but I was so satisfied with the service! They arrived on time and moved everything like a breeze. I did quite a lot of prep work prior to their arrival but I was still impressed it took under 2 hours to move (10miles distance) for my stuff. Movers were great! On time and very diligent. No down time or chit chat just straight business. They wrapped our furniture and carefully loaded/unloaded. We agreed to 3 movers but only 2 were able to show up. However, the 2 movers who came were extremely efficient and polite. The owner also was able to work with us due to the mishap. Update 3/31/22: Upon unpacking our basement where the movers placed all of our furniture and boxes, we discovered the table legs of our $800 West Elm coffee table were completely broken off. The movers strategically placed the table on its side against the wall to hide the broken legs and everything else was arranged around the table to make it difficult to access or see. Can't even fix or reassemble because of the way the legs were broken. We had an identical coffee table that they placed upright but this one was on its side. The day of the move, they actually broke a large branch off of our 3ft tall plant. When my wife mentioned it to them that day, neither mover said anything. We did not take any action at the time because we thought they did a decent job with the rest of our items - we were very wrong. We even gave them a generous tip that day which we now realize was a mistake. Completely shady and dishonest of them to hide their mistakes and still accept our tip as if nothing happened. Everything. Would have loved the three movers that were promised, meanwhile one showed up 45 mins after the end of my time slot. Jay was great, although not punctual. The second mover showed up halfway through the move and complained, used vulgar language with my father and left mid job, without telling his counterpart he was leaving. We only had one mover that was there to actually load. After complaining to management (Josh) he promised a second mover was going to help with the unload. My 65 year old father had to participate in moving heavy furniture to avoid having the move last longer than 6 hours. The vulgar language that was used by not only the movers but also the manager Josh is completely unprofessional- My father overheard him speaking very poorly of me to his mover and that is completely unacceptable. The two movers were tried their best to reconcile the issues failed to perform by management. You get what you pay for. They were great to squeeze me in for my move date, but the communication was horrible. They showed up almost an hour after the the 2 hour limit. They were very very very slow. As in had to take breaks in between. Once Ithey got to my new place I had about enough of the taking one thing at a time and going to drop it off halway down the not even long hallway to where I just started moving back the stuff into my new place as it was already 3 hours for few items. Very friendly and appreciate the last minute squeeze in, but don't waste your time. Top it all off they added their own tip to the invoice which I didnt see until it was emailed to me. So they each added their own tip (high amount of course) for a solid D rated performance. They also stopped to get food and took them 40 min to travel 1.8 miles from my old apartment to the new one. Had them scheduled for today at 9am after using them in the past. They called me to let me know a guy didn't show to work and they needed to get a replacement so it would be 10am. Then they just never showed and actually hit ignore on my calls. I left a voicemail in tears begging to please just let me know what the status was since I needed to be out today. Eventually I decided to get a uhaul and hired another company for the labor, since that was their only option available for last minute. They called me at like 12:20 saying they had truck issues now and could be on the way. Why didn't anyone just update me?! I would've waited since this is now costing me more and I have to do the driving of a big ass uhaul myself. So unprofessional, and the crazy thing is last time I used them they actually helped me out last minute when other movers just didn't show! So you'd think they at the very least could've given me a courtesy call. Bull shit! In response to the owner's response. Again, I'd understand all that happened had someone actually answered my calls and my several voicemails. I even had a friend call begging to just please update me. I left a few voicemails, one in tears begging to please just let me know. And as I stated, because my number was showing up you'd hit ignore on my calls, which I know for a fact because then when my friend called it rang through. I would've patiently waited until noon or 1pm had you simply answered my calls or text me that there were more hiccups and you were trying everything in your power to ensure my move would happen. i waited 4 hours to have 12 lightweight boxes moved on Wednesday, 5/10/23 to be told that the reservation that was made (time frame given was 3-4 PM) couldn't be honored due to the weather (rain). as someone who also works in/with the general public (bartender), i was understanding despite having to be the only one who made any form of contact. that being said, i rescheduled for Saturday 5/13/23. when i called to confirm my RESERVED TIME, i was asked if a truck was needed and who i was, and then was "quoted" a TWO HOUR MINIMUM time frame from when i had reserved my slot. i chose to cancel due to negligence on the business' side... "owner" (jim?) was nice enough but very unprofessional. schedules matter, communication matters. i don't write reviews, but this was not "fantastic". do better. read more

So many issues with Fantastic Movers. I called Fantastic Movers to schedule a quote. At that time I gave them a list of all my furniture. They quoted me 2 hours but the actual move ended up being 8 hours since they did not bring a big enough truck and we had to make 2 separate trips. I was also charged for 4 mattress protectors but they only brought and used 1. I tried to get a refund back for the mattress covers, still have not seen the refund. I ended up with a damaged wood dresser after being slid on its side instead of carried. I asked them to take the drawers out so it wasn't so heavy when unloading but they decided to do things their way and broke out the bottom of the dresser. I am missing a leg to a living room chair and a rolling shoe holder. Why one chair leg and wheel was taken off I do not know but they still have not turned up. My mattress now has tears all over from where they were pulling it up the stairs by the fabric. A heavy headboard with bolts sticking out of it was placed on top of the same mattress puncturing holes in it. I tried to resolve things with the company and thought they were genuinely interested in resolving the matter. Will told me to email them the pictures so I did and never heard back. He gave me Calvin's number to call and I left messages but never heard back. It was a very disappointing experience. The purpose of getting a mover was to make moving a little less stressful but this was not the case with Fantastic Mover's. read more

This is in response to Mr Clark's rebuttal of my prior review. The whole situation with Fantastic Movers was a crisis waiting to happen from the beginning. There were obvious warning signs that were readily apparent from my second or third correspondence with Mr William Clark. On multiple occasions he or his employees were asked if a 26 foot truck was going to be large enough for my household goods. On all three occasions I was assured that it was going to be more than adequate. I even asked if an in home walk through was going to be necessary and Mr Clark didn't think it was necessary. This statement was reiterated by his employees on the 14th of February when the came to pack boxes, and again on the 15th when they came to finish packing boxes and loading them onto the truck. When the packers arrived on the 14th they arrived approximately 45 minutes late. They loaded boxes for approximately 4 hours then informed us that the team arriving on the 15th would finish packing boxes before loading the truck. On the 15th after arriving late again as I walked the moving crew through my home it was overheard by my wife and I from one of the crew members that the crew on the 14th should have packed more boxes. Later that morning when another of Mr Clark's employees  came to help pack he side swiped my mail box with his truck and broke the post it was on. I had his crew lead take a picture and forward to Mr Clark. As the day progressed I observed boxes being haphazardly loaded with fragile contents and furniture being minimally protected with moving blankets. I asked about this and if I was actually watching some greater care would be taken. As the day progressed it was becoming readily apparent that a 26 foot truck was not going to be enough. The young man in charge of packing the truck called Mr Clark about 5 pm and advised him that a 26 foot truck wasn't going to be large enough. At 5:30 pm I received a phone call from Mr Clark informing me of what I already new. I asked him what his plan was because I was closing on the house the next day and had to be out at 10 am. He said he couldn't get another truck till the next day at the soonest. That is could possibly take two days. I told him that his answer was totally unacceptable and that he needed to fix the problem that night no matter how long it took. Our conversation ended at that point. I walked out to my garage andI was informed by the crew leader that they had been told by Mr Clark to take the truck with my belongings to another site and help another crew load their truck. They got into their truck and started to drive away. I again called Mr Clark and asked what was going on and he said that they were going to another site to help another crew. At this point I realized that the situation was deteriorating quickly and fired Mr Clark and his moving company. I informed him that I wanted the truck back in my driveway with my household goods for the night and they could off load the next morning. Mr Clark said this was not possible and they would be back the next day. I informed him that the truck would be in my driveway no later than 9 am on the 16th and he acknowledged understanding. Later that evening it took approximately 5 hours to rearrange plans with my real estate agent and the buyers agent. During this time I also leased two moving trucks and arranged for a new mover. When the morning of the 16th arrived Fantastic Movers were again late and were going to offload my stuff into my garage and driveway. I informed the lead crew member that wasn't going to happen and that one of my leased trucks would back up to theirs and my new crew would offload. I went out later to observe the progress and noted that two of Mr Clark's employees were smoking marijuana in the back of his truck as they were helping offload. I told the crew lead that that needed to stop immediately. As furniture and boxes was being transferred from one truck to another it was noted that boxes and furniture was already damaged by Mr Clark's crew. As you can see the whole interaction with Mr Clark and his company was a total fiasco. Throughout the whole process he never provided a contract for me to sign with a quote for services. His employees for the most part were extremely unprofessional and inexperienced. They didn't practice any Covid protocols as far as wearing masks and displayed minimal experience with regards to disassembling and packing furniture and household goods.  Mr Clark seemed unfazed by the fact that I fired him and seemed relieved by the fact that he wouldn't have to cover the extra expenditures to pay for another truck or crew to move me to Indiana. He never sent someone to repair my mailbox and to this day refuses to return phone calls with regards to damaged furniture and goods. I did have a typo in my first review with regards to his prior company it was Supermovers not Superior. read more

I never talked to you, it was a male on the phone, so the fact that you're quoting me is pretty funny (but that's not the only thing you're lying about). And the only reason I talked to anyone on the phone is because my wife and I called you, not the other way around. 3. Our move was scheduled for 9am, when 930 rolled around, you not only hadn't showed up, but didn't even call or email, which you and the other gentleman both lied about. He also said I hadn't confirmed, which I can prove if you'd like. 4. My wife called at 930 and the guy lied to her as well saying someone had vandalized your trucks and the move would be pushed to 1030. So even if you had been telling the truth about trying to contact me, you wouldn't have been there anyway. You are now saying there was family emergency? That's a very immoral thing to fake. 5. At no point was an "appointment" i had to run to mentioned, another lie. All we are doing today is moving (not a very intelligent lie was it?) 6. At 11 (30 min late from new time) I called for an ETA and the guy I talked to said you were trying to rent uhauls to move us. Again no phone call to tell us this, we had to call you. He said he would call us back. 6. Move then pushed to 3 pm, 6 hours after original time. I declined. 7. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. We hired fantastic movers through uhaul, first off, they showed up 45 minutes late, we hired 2 men for 5 hours, and later that day they were to have another crew move our gun safe. The guys that came in the morning (late) spent a great deal of time on their phones, scratched up several pieces of wood furniture, stole a shotgun. The owner admitted he knew they were dead wrong in this email to me I'm not replacing the dolly I will replace the fire arm. Your supposed to bring the tools for the move. We're labor only but the firearm I'll take care of. We are dead wrong and that employee was fired. He never turned in the employee to the police, never replaced my shotgun, destroyed my dolly after paying for a safe to be moved, and I told him over the phone that it was very heavy and I didn't have proper equipment to move it, he said he'd handle it. They caused over $1000.00 in damages to my items including the theft. Then made no effort at all to make it right. Would give less than one star if I could. Booked movers a month in advance and never heard anything about confirmation, despite U-HAUL's website saying the company would reach out the next day. I called a week before my move to confirm and the guy said he would call the day before to confirm. Long story short, the two guys showed up 1.5 hours late, and told me they had somewhere else to be before the 2 hours I purchased were over. They came with no moving supplies or equipment, and told me there was no way they'd be able to unload my full U-haul in the two hours. I called the contact from the company who SCREAMED at me on the phone and provided the worst service (if I can even call it that) imaginable. Horrible company! We hired this company to move a hot tub that was in perfectly good working condition and filled with water and running prior to the move. They told us to be there on a Friday for the move. We drove 1 hour to be present for the move only for them to tell us to come back tomorrow. We came back the next day (1 hour drive again) and waited over 5 hours and they once again told us they weren't going to make it in time and would need to move it the next day (Sunday). We had prior plans that day and couldn't be present for the move but gave clear instruction to place the control panel facing the electrical box. When we got home a panel was broken off the side and it was facing the wrong direction. We notified Jim and he sent 2 guys out a few day's later to rotate the hot tub. Two guys arrived with no equipment. They placed the hot tub up on its side and rotated it. When they went to lower it they lost control and dropped it from shoulder height and it slammed down to the concrete breaking another panel. When we filled the hot tub with water and turned it on it began rapidly leaking out the bottom from an obvious internal crack. My husband contacted Jim Brand and he contacted the guys who moved it that day. They admitted to dropping the hot tub. At that time he said he would send someone out to take a look. We have been blown off for 3 months now and when my husband spoke to him today he began denying it was their fault and started cursing and yelling. Unbelievable. It took the better part of 6 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment after an initial estimate of 2.5-3 hours. The crew moved incredibly slowly, didn't take great care, broke a mirror, took about 40 minutes to drive between apartments even though its a 15 minute drive (I assume they stopped for food, which is obviously fine but I was charged for their lunch break which seems ridiculous). They had a survey that came along with their receipt and I filled it out expecting to hear back from them and never did. I would not recommend this company for any move. From beginning to end it was a bad experience. I've used a few other movers in the past and these guys were by far the worst moving company I've ever used. I honestly cannot fathom how a company that does this professionally can have an estimated time that was that far off.
