This review is about the play area only…read more I'd heard that Living Spaces had a fabulous play area so I took my 3 year old over to check it out. Because I'd also heard that they get quite busy and that there can be a long wait to play, so we went over at 10 am (when they open) on a Tuesday. It paid off as we were the only ones there for about 10 minutes. So, the play area is pretty great- my son played independently for about an hour. Things to know: You have to fill out a waiver for each kid each time before they can play. Online forms are coming at some point. Word on the street is that weekends are so busy and crazy that they should be avoided. Parents are required to stay in the play area with kids 3 and under but are required to leave kids 4 and over with the attendants. They have an interesting looking cafe right outside the play area but it wasn't open while we were there.

I contacted customer service and they said that I would have to pay the restocking fee (plus the pick up fee) even though I have PROOF that their sales people flat out lied to me. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and never made us feel pressured. We ended up purchasing a sofa, loveseat, side table, and a few accessories. They happened to be running a special, so we got a great deal. Our delivery arrived today, and the pieces are beautiful! There was a small hiccup--one of the sofas was missing an option we had selected. Chad called us first thing, apologized, and immediately offered to send a replacement while letting us keep the incorrect one in the meantime. On top of that, he gave us a credit for the inconvenience. Outstanding customer service. If you're visiting the Thornton store, definitely ask for Chad!
