Love this boutique. Amazing place to shop!!!! Not only do they have fun eclectic clothes but they sell Upcycled furniture and all kinds of decorative painting supplies. The best thing though, is that they offer classes to show you how to make your own stuff. I was waiting for my husband to have a procedure done at the nearby hospital and wanted to grab a coffee. I did not have a face mask as they are in my other car. So I called and the barista made my drink and brought it out to me. I'm not from this area and got a drink he recommended, which is delicious! People here are SO NICE! I had never "chalk painted" before and they were patient listening to my questions, advising me on technique, etc. Even though the paint was non-refundable, I took a chance that it would work and be easy, like they said! This morning I went to Due South for more Annie Sloan's (addicting) chalk paint. While i've used the product for a while, I have yet to find a friendly local store to purchase it from. This is a bonus for the up-and-coming main street of S.Public Road, Lafayette. They just get it with a wonderful mix to bring you back just because you don't want to miss something because you didn't take a moment to swing through and check it out. Their prices are great and their selection is ever-changing. Who could ask for anything more?! I love that they respect our planet and help you with the three "R's" recycle, repurpose, refinish. Can I say it again? They get it! I found a perfectly good suitcase that now sits in my tiny bathroom with a smaller table on top. World traveller? One of my favorite stores in the area! So glad I stopped in on a whim a year or so ago after hearing the buzz about it from the community. I have never walked out empty handed and usually stumble across gifts for friends and family in addition to a great variety of women's clothes and jewelry, all at a very reasonable and accessible price point with great quality to match! Due South has become one of my go-to shops, so much so that when I had an hour to kill the other afternoon, I drove over from Boulder and, of course, left with a plethora of goodies!
