Ok, don't tell ANYONE! But....I really LOVE wandering aimlessly through a flea market. One can waste literally HOURS! It is as if time stands still....except for one thing: Nature's Call. Thus, the rating is almost entirely based on the availability and conditions in the restroom. Here the restroom is old, but large and clean, containing all the necessities. Spending an hour or two wandering this diverse and eclectic flea/vintage market is a top way to spend a Saturday. There is something for everyone here but we especially love looking for books, movies, and unique home furnishings. My boyfriend has found first edition Stephen King books and I have picked up several items for my bar including vintage Coors merchandise. The staff is very welcoming but the true star is the kitty cat Beaux who lives in Beaux's hideout at the back of the store. read more

I've never been to a flea market with SO much diversity. The vendors here have many different tastes and timeless valuable items. Most of the time my partner has to drag me out before I actually am ready to leave (VERY EVIL FOR MY PARTNER TO DO BTW) LOL On top of the unique items and treasures, the customer service is beyond superb! My purse strap broke halfway through my collecting venture and the workers helped me re-assemble my purse with tape so I can continue my journey... (did not purchase purse here btw). That wasn't the first time experiencing great customer service here either. On one occasion, I was fixated with finding a specific old school sealed mason, the young worker that day popped up like a wizard halfway through my long journey with the EXACT item I was looking for. They even gave me a little 5% discount. Very unique place with great prices and numerous types of vendors. read more

We got some interesting books here and there's certainly a wide selection of things... Part of me feels like the place is a hoarders dream and a Marie Kondo nightmare. They were selling anti dandruff shampoo for $5 somehow, as well as old makeup and I was surprised there was a market for old beauty products that were more expensive than what you'd find in the store. Seemed to be a decent amount of people in the store, and we bought two books but probably won't go back. If you're ok digging through massive amounts of old and sometimes strange junk for the collectible treasure of your dreams though, check it out. Definitely isn't a discount kind of place though. read more

Forget about Goodwill and Arc Thrift Store. I've been missing out all this time on the coolest Flea Market in Lafayette. I thought it was amazing and all things vintage and cool. They have everything that you could ever imagine! They have theme rooms with what the seller specializes in. They have old antiques, ventriloquist puppets, porcelain dolls, teddy Bears from various brands like Vermont, TY, Sanrio etc. They had the legit G.I. Joe dolls for $15, mirrors ranging from $5-140!! This. Place. Is. Awesome. If you go, set aside an hour or two of time to get lost in this wonderland of vintage, weird and wonderful finds ranging from classic to tacky and everywhere in between. Some of the best thrift finds I've ever had have been at this flea market/thrift mecca. The place might look kind of sketch from the outside and, sure, it's labyrinthine, but this place has something for just about any kind of thrift nut. While perusing this establishment two old saying come to mind "one mans trash is another mans treasure" and "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Been there once. You have to be careful of the steps up and down in random places throughout the store. Looked like your basic flea market. The reason that they don't get three or four stars is that the whole place reeks of cigarette smoke. Either one person in there goes outside and smokes 15 packs a day, or they are sneaking 'smokes' inside the store. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. I had gone here once several years ago, and didn't return until today. My husband and I spent about 40 minutes browsing and left disappointed because we didn't see anything that we were even remotely interested in, despite the size of the place and number of vendors/items. I think I was expecting it to be more of an antique mall - it is definitely more flea market and there is too much "modern", worthless junk and cheap "shabby chic"-type items (think fake bird cages and cutesy wooden signs). The store does have a lot to look at. It's like going down a rabbit hole (in a good way if you like exploring). The other issue I had is that it was very hot and stuffy in there, and my relief at the sound of the "air" coming on was short-lived because it brought an odd smell with it. read more

I have had enough, so here goes. C is for Cheryl and her four letter name. She is part owner of Lafayette Collectibles & Flea Market and she is a nightmare. I have been shopping there for years and have seen her treat employees, sellers, customers, and even her husband poorly, she whistles for him like a dog. I have heard her call their employees, sellers, and customers names and scold their employees and sellers publicly, but she always seem to be the wrong one in the more than six incidents I have witnessed. She even had a fight with a seller that was moving out a few months ago and did a lot of cursing. She is a hateful person that interferes with her own business. This place gets five stars because of the amazing employees and the sellers. The employees have proven they know good business practices and are genuinely friendly in spite of their unhealthy work environment. And many of the sellers care for their cubicles. I now only shop there on the weekends or after 2pm during the week because usually she is not there and I recommend you do too. read more

What an amazing find! I was a little weary of this place at first and then once I went in, I was amazed! It is HUGE and there are so many items, from jackets, dressers, and any knick knack you can imagine. The first time I went I found my $5 dresser there. I could leave this totally blank and never let on that this is a veritable treasure trove. I could also have never gone myself if it weren't for some local friends that initiated us to the wonders within.....so I have to share. It's only fair. Like many indoor flea markets in the immediate area the booths are rented out by individuals who are then in charge of merchandising and stocking as they will. The best part about the Lafayette Market is that they operate at about 90% capacity- not a lot of empty booths. And not a lot of skimpy picked over booths either. Well, not until I've had my way with them at least ;) With our recent move to CO we had shed most of our furniture and large belongings. The Lafayette Market helped us to refurnish and redecorate now that we've relocated. And it was fun! One of my favorite booths is very french country/shabby chic and I can always find some sort of cast iron somethin' or white ceramic doodad that I can't live without. Another booth let us score an amazing collection of danish hardwood furniture for a fraction of it's worth- total win!!! Give yourself plenty of time to explore! Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm Sunday from 11am to 5pm And every 4th Sunday they open their parking lot to even more sellers- bonanza!!! read more

Great collection of items! Walking in I thought it would be not so nice but once you start exploring, you find a lot of hidden products. There are antique and modern items ranging from cheap to hmm not sure if I want to spend that much (which is why I deducted one star). Kinda hidden off of Public Road this building used to be an old bowling alley. If you have a dust allergy you might want to take a Benadryl before hand. Like any flea market it is hit or miss but I found way more hits here than I every did at the Mile High Flea Market. Old wooden school desk. Trumpet. Action Figures. The biggest highlight: vinyl! Not a huge selection but found some real gems. Worth a walk through. read more

This is a fun place to visit. It's pretty sprawling, with each booth owned by a different seller. That means you can find good deals right next to something you may consider overpriced. Lots of unique stuff. If you see something you like, but the price is too high, you can sometimes ask the people at the desk to call the booth owner to discuss a reduction. I've found several things, and paid fair prices. It's big, so plan on spending at least 45 minutes wandering around. read more

This place was interesting. They have a ton of dust collectors--you know, your decorative plates and heart-warming knick-knacks. They did have a few cool stalls, including one with a ton of drawer pulls. I don't know how much drawer pulls should cost, but they were pretty neat. They also had some old stainless steel barware, like an ice-hammer/jigger/bottle opener. Lots of junk, and some other stuff too. read more
