Tim is amazing - a true artisan like you can't find these days. Meticulous and conscientious and HIGHLY skilled. Any type of refurbishing, repair, refinishing, etc....he's the best there is. And the shop is an authentic treasure trove! So many spectacular antiques and just cool old things you'll never find anywhere else. And you can tell Tim loves it all. Love this shop! Tim is an artist. We purchased a beautiful oak table at this shop and we bought new unfinished oak chairs to go with it. Tim refinished the table and finished the chairs to match. He made the new chairs have the same beautiful old patina that the table has. The set is so beautiful!! read more

Wise Buys is my favorite antique store anywhere. I travel a lot and go into antique stores all over and Wise Buys really stands out. The glassware is fabulous, with hundreds of choices. I especially love the light catchers in the window. The couple that owns the place are friendly and helpful. Very Rude!!! I would not shop here nor do business here again. I went in to this store asking for help on some estate items from my grandparents estate that are beautiful antiques from the east coast that I was hoping to possibly sell to this store. I got no further than the first item when the woman interrupted my conversation with the first salesman and said that she would help me and then instead of helping me, proceeded to ignore me and helped another customer who walked in after me. When I asked if we could finish she told me to look my item up online. I told her that I had another question she told me they were too busy even though that question was regarding their repair business. Who knows if she had actually been polite I would have brought in the items for this estate, possibly used them for repairs or even stayed a little longer and shopped for myself.
