Don't let the size fool you. There is lots of good stuff down here. From purses, to shoes, to jewelry and books, they really have a great selection. I said I was a side sleeper with lower back problems and would like a mattress on the firmer side, and Cary had me try out several different mattresses, increasing in firmness each time so I could find the one that felt best. Next we started in on couches, and based on my feedback he directed me to one I had originally ignored. As soon as I sat in it I knew it was the one, it just felt right, and even trying other options none compared. He called me on Monday to confirm a delivery window on Tuesday with a third party moving service. Due to an issue with the delivery company's website, they never got the order, and he called me on Tuesday as soon as he realized what happened. He tried to get them to still deliver same day, but they didn't have availability until the following day, which worked out fine. He even offered to deliver the items himself out of consideration for my work schedule. All-in-all a fabulous shopping experience.

They are not pushy and have the patience to answer all of our questions. The bedroom set was delivered within 2 weeks and is absolutely gorgeous. The delivery team was also fantastic as they had everything assembled and placed where I wanted within 30 minutes. For our sofas we needed someone to consult with us and Lori Cotton was fantastic! She demoed the fabrics and how they are stain resistant so we felt better about ordering such a light color. She answered every one of our questions and was a wealth of information. Since the sofas are custom made we knew it would take 8-12 weeks, and thankfully they arrived less than 8 weeks later. Lori also kept us updated on the process and checked in after they were delivered. Again, the delivery team (Ryder) was super polite, courteous and quick. Not to mention the sofas are stunning! I'm not sure if maybe Arhaus had a different delivery system that received such bad reviews before, but I assure you Ryder has been fantastic. The furniture is pricey but you get what you pay for, and they are beautiful pieces!!

While looking though we did run into an impulse buy chocolate option but sadly discovered at home, not as good as the product it was copycatting and I regret the purchase. Lesson learned yet again, get what you came for with research in advance. It's a big store with lots of options for specific sorts of goods, but quality varies by departments.

It's wonderful that they located the new West Elm in Boulder. I've not had an opportunity to have visited any other West Elm stores in person before and I liked the quality of the goods I saw. It even gives me a sense of how to judge items online that are not available in the retail store. I especially liked the emphasis on natural fibers, fair trade made items, and their "feed" items that support "meals" programs in the US. And the overall style seems fitting both to the community and to my personal likes. The store is beautiful, very well stocked for the opening and the upcoming holiday season. I found lots to purchase today and therefore earned a nice "hello Boulder" tote for free. It's cute and I'm a fan of reusable shopping bags, especially here in Boulder where the city charges a fee for grocery bags and so it's a habit for most shopping now. It was really nice to have so many attentive and well trained staff available. I hope staffing will continue to be sufficient after the grand opening and holiday season. These were high quality items that normally would be outside my budget, but were on sale making them a great value for me. On the very last day of the sale I went back near the time they would be closing. I saw four pillows I really wanted and yet they were still more than I could pay. The owner was so kind and gracious and made a deal for me that was beyond generous. Two of the times I was there I was helped by Jen (think she usually works at the Cherry Creek store). She was the perfect salesperson, amazing service without being pushy, so knowledgeable helping my friend who bought a couch and just a generally kind and caring person. Thanks Jen! I understand that today is a crazy world, but to have people who are taking our money, lie when they could have just been honest from the start speaks volumes to how they view at their customers. We do have a voice that will be heard, and I refuse to let anyone think they can take advantage of me because I am young.
