Wanted mirrors so came by to look at their selection. They have an extensive selection of mirrors. Different sizes and styles and price points. There were some I liked but I didn't want to spend the money so I went with my secondary choices. They have a lot of household decorations at good prices. The associate who rang me up was friendly and understood me having to borrow their shopping cart to take the mirrors to my car which was parked a ways away since my visit to this store was unplanned. I did use the cart at Ross' as well since I bought a mirror there too. But I walked the cart back to the store to make sure the store associates didn't have to walk around corralling them. Will visit again.

This store has some great selections for spring currently 2021. The store is a bit smaller than other larger HG's. The prices are reasonable as well. The store was a bit busy and they are limiting customers currently to 150 shoppers right now. The check out went quickly and the sales people are nice to guide you to sections of the store you might be looking for. The items are of last seasons and are still up to current decor standards. I laughed at the HUGE amount of Rae Dunn items throughout thee entire store. I was shocked that with the current obsession that has put some in debt , per an article I came across this week on yahoo , that this store hasn't been pilfered through ! I don't see the allure. But to each their own. I want to spruce up my living room & kitchen for spring/ summer so I'll be back to hunt for the great deals.

Lots of options in complete disarray.

Oh HomeGoods! How many wonderfully awesome discounted home items can you fit under one roof?! Far more than my pocket book can handle - that's for sure! Seeking to find a few pieces to update various spaces throughout my home; I made my way aisle by aisle to ensure I didn't miss something I just had to have. My original wants included a bath mat, no-slip tub mat, and dish rack. After browsing I ended up with far more that I had aimed to get, but all items I'd been meaning to update - and for a fraction of the price mind you! Score! I love that the store is broken up by type of item. If you're just needing throw pillows just head right over and browse until your little hearts content. There's great displays set up throughout the store giving you great ideas of how to mix and match the various items. Yes, sometimes the store can look like a tornado of toddlers went barreling through, but that can be half the fun! Making finding that perfect piece even sweeter. I am definently a fan of HomeGoods! I know I will be back!!

My favorite part of TJ Maxx is the home section so this Home Goods store pleases me to no end! Aisles and aisles of marked down brand names. Need a new omelete pan? They got it. A cystral vase? They have half aisle of them. Fun holiday decor. Yep, you just scored. This place has something to please any home decorator. Great place to pick up a gift too since most items are high quality brands. It is big and bright and makes me happy :) Love it!

I did find the "Let's Flamingle" door mat, which will vastly irritate my pun-loathing friends. They didn't have the "Go Away" door mat. Or the one that says, "I hope you brought wine." Ah well. I found a couple more flamingo things, but discovered to my surprise that they do not carry slipcovers. This strikes me as odd for such a gigantic store. It was difficult to find anyone to help me, but when I did, he was very helpful. Almost everything I bought was summer stuff on clearance. A lot of summer and garden stuff is NOT on clearance. Also weird, as I write this in early November. I didn't really need two adorable garden gnomes, but I wanted them. Alas, not on clearance, and neither was the large grey resin alligator. I probably would have bought it at $40, but definitely not at $80. Silly impulses can only go so far. $80 is too far for me. Hangers are well priced, will go back and get them another time. It's always the ugliest patio cushions that go on sale. Oh well. Some patio umbrellas are on clearance, others are not. Also weird. Maybe some patterns are temporary and others permanent stock.

However, the products and quality of products are underwhelming. It's worth a look through if you've never been, maybe you'll find something you can't live without! My biggest negative: the employees look like they'd rather be anywhere else but there. You won't be offered help or greeted or barely talked to so set your expectations low.

Tomorrow post will consist of the fake tree warranty, post communication of the owner and how gifting a tree works at this place. The only reason I don't do a full review today is so I can calm down and write it correctly, insane! So, I just read the response again! Told to just wait... every tree in my yard, my neighborhood has grown all but this tree! That is the story you're sticking to! I will post pictures tomorrow, let yelp figure it out. Ok... had it! Talked to the owner wait 2 more weeks....6 weeks later and they sent out a very nice man to tell me... it's still alive wait two weeks. I guess what aggravates me most, my new tree could have been planted 6 weeks back, doing what it needs to do to start, get the rain settle, but they had to wait 6 weeks to make sure the stick was dead. You would think during the last 2 weeks someone would reach out and ask, how's the tree... maybe my picture of things are different in this marble we live on.

For the most part, the staff has been incredibly helpful, which is why I continue to shop here. Recently, I needed finish nails for a nail gun I had just purchased. On two separate occasions, I asked for help and was recommended the wrong gauge, even after explaining that the initial suggestion was not compatible with my gun. As a result, I ended up making multiple unnecessary trips. When I came in on today to return the nails, Phil at the return desk was professional and helpful from the start. Unfortunately, the assistant manager on duty around 5:20 PM, who I believe was named Tina, handled the situation very poorly. She opened one of the boxes, saw the Styrofoam covering the nails, and immediately said it could not be returned without even checking underneath it. After I asked her to actually look under the Styrofoam, she did, saw the nails were unused, and still refused the return, while oddly saying she would accept the other identical box. That made no sense. What was most disappointing was her response when I explained that I was only returning both boxes because I had been given the wrong recommendation twice by store staff. I had even brought my nail gun with me this time to avoid a third mistake. Her response was, 'It's your job to know your gun better.' That was unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and far below the level of customer service I would expect from an assistant manager at Home Depot. Thankfully, Nikki and Ronnie, who I believe is the Customer Experience Manager, completely turned the experience around. Ronnie spent about 10 minutes with me going through different nail sizes and physically checking them with my tool to make sure I left with the correct product this time. Both he and Nikki were professional, patient, and genuinely helpful. Honestly, employees like Ronnie and Nikki are the reason I continue coming to this Home Depot instead of going to Lowe's down the street. If my experience had ended with the assistant manager at the return desk, I likely would not be coming back. It was disappointing to see a cashier and another manager demonstrate a much higher standard of professionalism, care, and customer service than the assistant manager herself. 10/5 starts for Ronnie and Niki 0/5 for (Tina?) and her customer professionalism
