Turns out the "clearance" cabinet was actually backordered on a container ship overseas. Their own invoice showed the items as B/O at time of sale. When I asked for a fair resolution, the owner: * Repeatedly ignored my requests to communicate via email * Hid behind Terms and Conditions, then contradicted them by threatening to cancel my order * Gave me four different delivery timelines, none of which held * Blamed BDI, the shipping company, and the weather * Offered me a net $50 discount and called it "reasonable and fair" * Gave me 33 minutes via email to accept an offer or he'd cancel The moment I asked him to commit to an actual delivery date with accountability, he cancelled the order and refunded my deposit. Robert held $2,000 hostage for seven weeks for a cabinet that was never coming. Save yourself the headache.

The clearance room prices were amazing, and although "just looking", we bought it on the spot! Steve wrapped it in plastic, and helped to load it into our truck. Steve suggested we do a FaceTime call, and he demonstrated the way it worked, while we followed the steps from home. Problem resolved immediately! I contacted the Westminster store the following morning to see if I could exchange it for a lighter version speaking to Carlin. She told me there were 13 in stock in Washington for exchange and that would be hearing from the store manager the next day. It is a week and I still haven't heard back. Basically I'm being ghosted. After reading the other reviews online, I see that customer service is not a strong point of the Westminster store. I had to reach out to the main customer service line to hear that they would be unlikely to do this. While I understand that there are variations in color, rather than return it, I asked for an exchange. I haven't even removed the table from its box. The coffee table I got looks like a teak or mahogany wood and would never be used as a display. I have not had this kind of experience with exchanges from any other furniture store that I've shopped: west elm, cb2, room and board, you name it with . The mirror that goes with the dresser (glorified picture frame) took 12 weeks to get. This is the most I've ever spent on a piece of furniture and it is definitely the last time I shop at Woodley's. Common. Don't give us the run-around. Just be upfront with expectations. We don't even remember what the couch looks like at this point. It was difficult to find anyone to help me, but when I did, he was very helpful. Almost everything I bought was summer stuff on clearance. A lot of summer and garden stuff is NOT on clearance. Also weird, as I write this in early November. I didn't really need two adorable garden gnomes, but I wanted them. Alas, not on clearance, and neither was the large grey resin alligator. I probably would have bought it at $40, but definitely not at $80. Silly impulses can only go so far. $80 is too far for me. Hangers are well priced, will go back and get them another time. It's always the ugliest patio cushions that go on sale. Oh well. Some patio umbrellas are on clearance, others are not. Also weird. Maybe some patterns are temporary and others permanent stock.
