On a recent visit, we were attracted to a single cup coffee maker that was marked down by 35% from $285 to $185 - I curious as to how this price matched up with online prices and quickly discovered that the same coffee maker retails for $85! An upscale, all-stainless version of this same coffee maker retails for $185 but that's not the version being sold at the Village Gourmet. So - buyer beware that that the mark-downs they are offering are not at all what they seem.
