We visited IKEA on a Sunday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to find parking. The store has an incredible selection of products at affordable prices--you can find just about everything you need for your home in one place. Be sure to follow the arrows on the floor, as they guide you through the showroom and make the shopping experience much easier. A nice bonus is the dining area on the second floor, which is a great spot to take a break and grab a meal before continuing your shopping trip. One helpful tip: if you plan to purchase larger items, take photos of the item tags and aisle/bin locations as you go. You'll need that information later when you pick up the items near the checkout area. Overall, a great shopping experience with plenty of options, reasonable prices, and a well-organized layout. I love this store. We drove 6+ hours to visit Denver's IKEA. The store has everything you could need for your home. We were looking for chairs and Johnny was extremely helpful. He helped us pick out what we wanted. He placed to order to have it delivered to our house since it wouldn't fit in our car. All the staff were helpful. read more

Its been awhile since my last trip. I can see the blue wall from my office but it's been so tough getting here. Well, I m blessed and have everything I need. Also, trying to practice minimalistic life. Things are quite different here from my last visit. They are packed with so much new ideas to decorate your home. So many new items but still offers the same goods as 10 years ago. For example, the step stools! Everyone knows IKEA the Swedish store with competitive prices on furniture and household goods. Did you know the IKEA restaurant on the 2nd floor has a huge dining area with table seating, couches, and bar stool seating? Join their IKEA family membership and when you visit you can enjoy a free coffee or tea! The store is so huge I like to take a break in the dining area have a beverage and dessert and just chill. Weekends are busy at every IKEA location but the Friday afternoon when I visited, it was quiet and enjoyable to relax and watch all the cars and trains rushing down the highway! read more

Like what is offered but finding things you see on display is so challenging. You feel like you're spending time wandering and I hate that meandering when time is important. The prices on many items are better than other places. I like the covered levels of parking out of the sun and women's bathroom had a sign that said feminine products and diapers are always free for those in need which is fantastic. It was almost a ghost town while we were there walking around. The layout of IKEA always drives me batty bc you just want to cut to where you want to go but can't. They did have signs for college student discount of 15% which is nice and they have great sorting for garbage, paper, and bottles/cans. Adding one for compostable would be great! read more

Review update.....Why not! I mean at IKEA, I can always find something of use and at super prices! On a recent visit, my only intent was to pick up another Kallax shelf unit for the ever growing vinyl collection. Mom and I bypassed the showroom but we did venture thru the store and boy was that "dangerous". We found so much in kitchenwares that by the time we hit the bath fixtures and accessories, our cart was half full. We found some great holiday supplies and decor (most are scattered throughout the store) and I was 100% impressed by the warehouse reorg. The computers for customer use were moved to the cart area.....and I must add that using it is a must. Since inventory was moved around, it helped us find the Kallax shelf with ease! The only downside to our trip was checking out. Only the self service lanes were open and it was fairly busy for a week night. Only two of the registers open accepted cash and the lines to check out were each at least 5 customers deep. It took a bit but once we checked out, we treated ourselves to a yummy soft serve. IKEA also built a bigger customer service center and next to it, a comfy sitting area. Very nice addition! read more

When I got to IKEA, I had never been to this one before. They're all very confusing to me, but this one was even more so because it's on multiple floors. When I got there, a man from the Warehouse was kind enough to help me find the things that I was looking for. Then when I was going to my car I thought I had lost my keys! I went back inside and the staff at IKEA jumped right on it and wanted to help me right away. The lady that was there called the risk department to help me find my keys. It was traumatizing, but the staff at IKEA made it ok! THANK YOU IKEA STAFF!!! read more

It's like a maze in there. A fun maze with lots of ideas to draw from. There are shortcuts but I didn't take them because I haven't been there in a while. I took my time and explored the different options available. I found some kitchen items, a bathroom rug, drawer liners, candle holders, snacks and the photo frames I actually went to buy. They got me at the checkout by offering meal add ons from the bistro. I was hungry and so I put them in my cart. They show the number on the screen of which counter to pick up from. (Received a bookcase that was damaged) Everyone promises: First a replacement delivery that somehow got cancelled then a refund that I have yet to receive. My daughter lives right by the store so I had her go and purchase a bookcase I wanted. She had her 2 yr old and 1 month old baby with her. There was no one who could help her get the bookcase to her car. According to the workers, they could help her get it "into" the car but she had to get it "to" the car. If she could get the bookcase to the car with a baby and a toddler she wouldn't need help getting it into the car. Have you ever heard anything more ridiculous? So, she left without the bookcase. We'll shop somewhere else. read more

Had a crazy experience with the employee working self check out last weekend. Got a $25 off $250 coupon in the mail almost a month ago that said it was valid now through October, but when scanning it the computer said it wasn't valid until the next day. The worker not only gave us a super hard time for asking to validate it, but made a comment under her breath about being able to afford $25. She also claimed she couldn't validate it and had to call someone else to do it, and when the other person got there they said "you know how to do it, it's not that hard". Felt like she was giving us a hard time just to give us a hard time. read more

Our family decided to take a Saturday outing to IKEA, and it turned out to be a really fun experience for everyone. It was the first time the kids had ever been there, so we didn't quite know what to expect for them, but the moment we walked in, it became clear this place is an adventure all by itself. I've been to IKEA before and always appreciated it for the creativity and the unique items you can find there. It's the kind of place where you can learn new ideas for your home while discovering things you didn't even know you needed. We started up on the third floor where the food court and restaurant area is located. Let me just say those Swedish meatballs from the restaurant were out of sight. The food was great and it gave us a nice moment to sit down together before continuing to explore. From there we made our way through the different sections of the store, and honestly IKEA feels almost like a mall with how many different areas there are to see. Every turn shows something new. The kids absolutely loved the children's section. They were especially excited about all the plush toys and soft stuffed animals. Their eyes lit up the moment they saw them. We couldn't even make it through the whole section in one straight path because every aisle had something else catching their attention. That's really the magic of a place like IKEA -- one section naturally leads you into another. Before you know it, you're exploring ideas, furniture setups, decorations, and creative displays. Before finishing up our visit, we even picked up a replica Mona Lisa painting, which was a pretty cool find and something unique to bring home. Overall it was a great family outing filled with good food, fun exploration, and a lot of inspiration for the home. Bad experience with IKEA Kitchen Reno scheduled installation of IKEA's most expensive kitchen cabinets, and a new countertop, for September, prior to having major surgery. They moved the install back. OK, so I took meds and supervised the work from my couch, and cleaned up after the installers every night for more than a week. The install took several days longer than I was told, due to problems the the installer needed to fix. (e.g. baseboards didn't meet the floor, some upper cabinets were not finished at the top, etc.) BTW, IKEA does not employ the installers -- you pay them separately. I now understand why. So they can point the finger at someone else if the job doesn't go well. The IKEA planner who drew up the materials order miscalculated the dimensions of a cabinet intended to house a microwave. The only thing that will go in that space now are drawers, which were not supplied. So I have a gap in my base cabinets that certainly doesn't look right. A month after the install, cracks formed on the countertop -- one right next to the sink. It is obviously a defect in the material that was repaired in the factory, because the patch, a curiously regular shape, popped out spontaneously. When I contacted IKEA about the problems, they responded to say they were bumping the complaint up to a manager. It's now a month later, and I have yet to hear anything except out-of-office messages and a repeat about directing the complaint up the food chain. I estimate it will cost about $1,500 in IKEA materials to repair the problem. Or I can go elsewhere for a new countertop. I can purchase the drawers only from IKEA. I do not recommend working with IKEA on a kitchen remodel. They do not take responsibility for their materials or work. read more

Ikea has some useful items at a good price. My couch is Ikea and I love it (FRIHETEN sofa), and I have an IKEA HAUGSVÄR bed. However, I don't really like the Denver store. I find it very difficult to navigate. Display chairs, beds, and couches seem worn, and they are often out of a lot of products. The location is very far out for us that live north of Denver. It's not worth the drive here to shop. I recommend shopping online and picking up on the store or getting the items delivered to you. read more

Been going to the Ikea Julbord for years. Another guy and I were taking photos of the dancers and she came over, verbally assaulted us and then thought it was ok to touch us. I reported her to Ikea staff. I took this picture of her as she kept giving me dirty looks while I waited for Ikea staff to help me. The Ikea staff said they would not look at the surveillance video or give it to the cops if I filed a formal report against her. They did end up moving her and then escorted me up to get a few pictures incase she were to try something again. They also gave me two chocolate bars. So if you get assaulted in Ikea all they do is give you chocolate instead of holding that person accountable for what they did. The picture of the broken wooden spoon was an Ikea trip on 11/6/25 that not only shows we go there a lot, but also other food fails. We were super happy that for the event they had real silverware instead of the kind that breaks easily that they also use in their restaurant. read more

I went to the store and picked up a set of the curtains that were supposed to ring up at $39, instead they rang up at $49. No one would honor the online price. The manager at the self check was a complete asshole. I didn't get their name. I was going to buy other items, but decided you don't need my money. I'll just find something else at Amazon. No contact to reschedule, no information provided, and upon contacting customer service to find out whats happening I dont get an answer just to reschedule again (which is b.s. considering I've already gone through this in order to not have to take off mulitiple days of work and no offer to compensate on their complete failure to uphold their end of a purchase agreement). We will never go back to IKEA - ever! We haven't been to IKEA in 15 years. We now remember why. We went to the store in January, bought a couch, arranged for the delivery date, and for someone from Task Rabbit to come to our house to put it together. It seemed simple enough and we were reassured everything would be smooth as ice and twice as nice but then we paid and the absurdity began. IKEA continuously changed the delivery date after we taken off work multiple times to accommodate the delivery schedule and the Task Rabbit professional. We attempted to be as flexible as possible but IKEA made it as painful as one could make a delivery. IKEA customer service stated twice - after being on hold and the actual call for a total of 2-3 hours that they refund for Task Rabbit and the Delivery Fee would be applied back to the card used during the original purchase. This never happened. The delivery was scheduled for a Saturday and we made arrangements to stay home during the period it was set to be delivered. The information was incorrect but no one notified us. The logistics company blamed IKEA and IKEA blamed the logistics company. The logistics company stated that it was arranged for Sunday but the information online and with the IKEA customer service representative stated that the delivery was set for Saturday. The logistics company argued that they wouldn't bring it til Sunday so we rearranged our schedules again. The logistics company stated that they would be here within 30 minutes but showed up 3 hours later. After going through a ridiculously bureaucratic process that took a total of 5 hours of my time, I received a call from IKEA stating that I had to complete information via an email and then wait on another phone call from customer service to receive the refund for the delivery fee due to their repeated mistakes and the refund for Task Rabbit. I have no idea if this will actually be processed as I continue to get the run around and have IKEA waste my time. read more

IKEA IS NO LONGER A FUN PLACE FOR SHOPPING I haven't been to an IKEA store in recent years. Nothing beats having a Swedish meatball plate at IKEA but after our recent experience, we may not be returning soon. The Centennial IKEA has empty areas with little merchandise and no room sets. Some of the empty areas are cordoned off but most are open and part of the shopping path. The stark empty spaces reminded us that IKEA is essentially just a big warehouse. There was no salesperson to help us in the self-serve warehouse section. The store website showed that our items were in stock but it appeared that two pieces we wanted were sold out (many empty shelves in the warehouse area). We did find a console storage unit but it was only after we got home and started assembling it did we realize that it was not the right model. Apparently the box we pulled off the shelf was either stocked on the wrong shelf or mislabeled because our receipt showed we bought an item with the same meaningless IKEA name and price. We dropped by the food court on our way out. The area was not clean. read more

We love IKEA! We made a visit into a day trip, and had an excellent time. Our first pleasant surprise was both low-cost (albeit only 6.4kW) EV charging and Veterans' parking spaces opposite the front door. We started with breakfast at the restaurant, which opens 30 minutes before the store. Affordable, tasty, and it included Swedish pancakes with lingenberry jam. (Yum!) From there, we followed the arrows through the store to examine all that was there for us. Prices and quality are generally very good. Passing through everything on both levels takes a couple of hours, but it's great fun to explore and make notes for future purchases. At the end, we stopped in their Swedish food shop to pick up items that are generally unavailable in our neck of the woods. We had a wonderful visit, and we will do so again with lists in hand. read more

Low effort, human cattle corral. Many display items are the only example of the item and the item to actually purchase frequently is non-existent. This theme extends all the way through the corral to beyond the cash registers where you can buy fast food items. Try the yummy looking pretzel with cheese sauce pictured in the flat-screen self pay kiosk. Enjoy the dry pretzel after you pick it up at the counter only to be told they do not have cheese sauce. You'll be informed of this in a way that is so nonchalant an attitude, like, "you dummy, you really expected cheese ,sauce?" Giant portraits of Chairman Mao placed throughout the facility would fit in perfectly with the overall experience of Ikea. read more

This store is filthy. It looks like they never vacuum the showrooms or the furniture. There is hair everywhere, in the sinks, on the furniture, countertops, inside drawers. The restaurant wasn't stocked, no forks, condiments, napkins, or side items. The staff was friendly enough but the lack of cleanliness made it really hard for me to want to shop. read more

Usually IKEA is my go too for household goods, and lunch but right now they are doing an extensive remodel and it's hard to see what they have. I would recommend just shopping downstairs until the remodel is done. They also changed up their cafeteria desserts, we love the chocolate cake and almond torte but they didn't have those items this trip. They replaced them with strawberry vanilla cake. I do love me some open stock IKEA glassware. They have some great, sturdy glassware and being open stock you break one.. no problem. Just go get another. I have also bought some really nice metal night tables for 10.00 each here. Don't even mention to me the Oatmeal/Chocolate cookies. I could and (actually have but we don't mention that often) eaten an entire box of these things on a cross country car trip. They are so crispy and good, it's difficult to stop and then suddenly.. the box is empty. Please make it a bit easier for those who don't want to walk around your entire store to shop there. I like to get in and get out. I don't constantly want to walk around and around so I can get a glass. Join the IKEA family and you will get a nice birthday surprise. My girlfriend and I went to IKEA to pick out and buy our first bed together. It was a mundane task with some romantic over tones so we really looked forward to this trip. IKEA didn't disappoint. This store is absolutely huge. I had no idea just how big this place was until I was inside. We loved the way IKEA sets up full rooms and gives us an idea of what it would like in our home. They even give square footage notices so you can compare it to rooms in your house. There is a monstrous selection of housewares, furniture and decor. So many that it can make it hard to decide. This is a great place for new couples and college students to buy furnishings. Plenty of choices. Reasonable price and friendly staff everywhere. The building is clean and extremely well maintained. Buy a strawberry yogurt cone at the end. Wow, is that some tasty stuff. My girlfriend and I will return several times as we identify more stuff we need. We were not the only same sex couple shopping and that was quite nice. read more

A lot of parking options. We ate lunch in their cafeteria and it was actually pretty taste! We got the meatballs with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. The meatballs were covered in a delicious gravy. We found the meatballs and gravy in their little food store. The cashier told us that for one bag of meatballs they use two pouches of gravy. Very helpful. Very crowded but what can you expect on a Saturday afternoon. read more
