One helpful tip: if you plan to purchase larger items, take photos of the item tags and aisle/bin locations as you go. You'll need that information later when you pick up the items near the checkout area. Overall, a great shopping experience with plenty of options, reasonable prices, and a well-organized layout. Join their IKEA family membership and when you visit you can enjoy a free coffee or tea! The store is so huge I like to take a break in the dining area have a beverage and dessert and just chill. Weekends are busy at every IKEA location but the Friday afternoon when I visited, it was quiet and enjoyable to relax and watch all the cars and trains rushing down the highway!

That left Chef's Corner. Took a bit for me to pull the trigger but their well organized site and fantastic Yelp reviews convinced me, along with a generous first purchase discount. I have to applaud them for being prompt to respond to inquiries, and their willingness to address a shipping challenge was truly a blessing. I bundled several items and everything arrived sooner than expected and in flawless condition. When I was setting up my table it caused me to look harder at a piece I recently ordered direct from Le Creuset and I discovered a flaw, (already proving a hassle to rectify that) so going forward I would absolutely order from Chefs Corner instead of direct from manufacturer. This company is unparalleled in a lot of respects in comparison to a lot of others selling the only brand of cookware I have interest in-Le Creuset. We went with Kitchens on Broadway after receiving a glowing recommendation from neighbors who had a great experience. Unfortunately, we later discovered that the designer they worked with had left the company, along with several other senior designers. We skipped doing our own homework and ended up regretting it. We paid a $1,200 design fee, and after six months--only after we had repeatedly asked for our money back--we finally received renderings and a layout that essentially copied a design we had already created ourselves using free online software and had provided to them three months earlier, so this was incredibly disappointing. Since then, we've done our own research and found several other reputable kitchen and bath designers in the Denver area who offer an initial design, budget estimate, and timeline before requiring any payment. Often being able to provide an initial design within 2 weeks. That level of transparency and professionalism made us realize how far off our experience here was. I strongly recommend doing your due diligence as there are better options out there.
