I didn't believe this at first! But they really helped me get into a New Mac book pro! Mention my name and get a 100$ gift card!! Troy was so awesome! Very informative and really great to talk to read more

The owner of this store is Rude and Racist. Two lamps were purchased from this store. The lamps did not work for the new space in which they were purchased for. When attempting to return them with the receipt. The owner rudely stated returns were not allow. When it was pointed out that there is no store policy stating no returns, he called the police and said we were trespassing. Calling the cops was totally uncalled for simply because we wanted to make a return. Please do not patronize this store. Spend your money elsewhere. Thank You. read more

This place is a corrupt scam. If you want to buy something electronic that they don't have in stock they just go to their "warehouse" which means they go to Best Buy and buy it then mark it up 20%. I had a pre-approval for $2800 through Snap Finance. They give you a credit line from Discover that you can only use at certain stores which is why I went here in the first place. I walk in and start dealing with Troy and things were going great. Then the owner walks over and start asking what I am trying to purchase. We tell him it's a MacBook Pro. He asks how I'm paying and then he asks how much I was approved for. I told him that that was none of his business and that he could just tell me the price of the laptop and I would pay it. The particular MacBook I was getting retails at Best Buy for $1800. This guy asks how I was paying again and I tell him that I didn't want to tell him how much I was approved for because then he would try and mark it up more or try and sell me more stuff. I finally tell him that I'm approved for $2800. This dude looks me in the face and says, "If you want this laptop I need to get $3600. I said, "What are you talking about? It's a $1800 laptop." He starts saying, "yeah but I can't lose money on the deal and that it cost him $1000/day just to open the doors". Here is the best part. He says, "The lowest I can do is $2800". Interesting. The exact amount I told him I was approved for. I went off at this point. I said, "How the hell do you think you can mark something up 100%. ($1800 laptop and he wants to charge $3600) Troy the employee says, "He's not getting financing through us he has an approval and it's just a Discover card we can run like any other credit card." Then the owner start giving me a sob story about how hard it is to stay in business and that he's essentially losing money. I know they markup the devices by about 20% because I've purchased 3 laptops from them. So I was willing to pay about $2160 for the laptop. Finally the owner agreed to $2199. And since it was only a few buck more than I was expecting I agreed. I payed for the laptop and got my receipt and then asked him if he could go get the laptop at the "warehouse". He refused to go get it until I gave him a 5 star review on google and here. The reason they have so many 5 star ratings is that he either holds your device hostage until you give him a review or else he offers you some small trinket to leave the review. I've done business here three times and the other two were fine but stay away from the owner. read more

Don't rent a UHaul from this location. The store was closed the day that I was supposed to pick up my truck so I wasn't able to get it. And neither of the 2 trucks they had waiting outside the store were the right size anyway. read more

Amazing service. Doug was extremely helpful, transparent and honest. Would highly recommend.

I walked in the store and was greeted by a very kind employee at the front desk. My friends and I were looking around to buy new furniture for our new house together. We are in our early 20's and he walked up to my three friends and I. Then proceeded to yelled explicits at us. Example: "F**k you and your mom." DO NOT GO HERE! Read all reviews before buy! read more

Amazing buying experience! Troy and Muhammad were super helpful, knowledgeable and patient. They took the time to answer all our questions, explain options and help us find exactly what we wanted. I will shop here before anywhere else when I am looking to make furniture or electronics read more

Happened to see this store driving through the parking lot to go to Sunset Grille. ;-) WOW - so glad I went in. Kevin helped me select a great box spring and mattress for my needs that was VERY reasonably priced. (I had been to a view other furniture stores, and left very quickly when I felt like the only reason the salesman was even talking to me was to try to up-sell me into a $2,000 set.) Delivery was very prompt and on-time. They set it up and it's been great! Will definitely visit the store again and will be sending my friends there. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. What a complete Joke of a business. I went in to pick up some items. When I tried to get my items, the owner said I had to show him something on my phone. I explained to him I didn't know what that was. Instead of helping me, or providing any type of human decency or an even very minimal amount of customer service, he told me "Oh well". He then became irate with me (the customer) yelling at me, pointing his finger in my face and telling me he "didn't get paid enough to deal with me" All of this was occurring while he was holding my paid purchase and not providing it to me. This place was sketchy and the owner was rude and completely unprofessional. Not only will I never step foot in this place again, I will definitely warn others to STAY AWAY! read more

I needed a computer and went to the store because I had seen information online about their sales are computers. I called the store and was greeted by John and he said they have the computer I was looking for a Macbook and I then went to the store and I received a pretty decent price and very good service and was treated very well and they called after I got home to make sure that I was able to sign on and it was it was a very good experience. I have not bought a computer before with this much ease. I want to say that if you need an appliance or piece of furniture I want for the computer this is the place to go. read more

Came here to buy a tv for my apartment and it couldn't have gone smoother. The customer service was great and I felt very taken care of. Put $10 down and bought $1000 worth of furniture! Mention Alex and they will give you a $100 gift card.

Excellent custom service. Offered bottle water while we shopped. Loved that they don't bother you while you shop. Omar and Tyler were great help while we looked. Stop by and take a look at their inventory. Couldn't recommend more. read more

***DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM!!!*** I purchased 2 floor lamps 2 weeks ago. I found that they don't meet my needs in my new home. I called to inquire about their business hours so that I may come to return the items. The guy on the line said, "it is what it is" and he does not accept returns. He asked me why I didn't tell him when I was buying the lamps, that I would want to return them. That is COMPLETELY irrational question, because I wasn't buying them with the intention of returning them. There are no signs posted to that affect in the store or on the receipt. He was completely rude and hung up. read more

My Fiancé and I stop in A Better Home Saturday April 28th and was greeted with a welcome and water. Omar & Tyler where very helpful, we were there over an hour looking for a bedroom set. Once they found out what style we were looking for, they showed me sets that matched my wants and we found the perfect bedroom set. We will continue to do business with this company because of the awesome customer service and the affordable prices. Keep up the good work!! read more

Well, if i could give this company a NO STAR RATING. I WOULD FEEL THEY EARNED IT! Why?! Because of a few key factors that has made my purchase of a labtop computer, one in which i found the same exact model for sold at at least ten online and a few local outlets for only $199 to $335 respectively. when after i was interested in the craigslist ad $10down for labtop(cost me $40 and now am locked into a financing commitment where a total of over $900 is owed for a labtop i was told had certain features that it did not and i was told i could not open the packaging an i could not return it, all after the deceptive practices were set into motion. I AM RETURNING THE PRODUCT, and I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE FOR ANYTHING EVER!!! read more

Blayne was very nice and informative. The store gave me to opportunity to finance a TV at just a bit more than paying retail would have cost me. They have a huge selection of products 10/10 read more

Friendly but they take advantage of people with bad credit by charging them over 3 times the value of any product. Do your research before you finance through them. read more

I was in the store buying furniture but cancelled my order last minute due to the fact that a group of young adults were very rudely screamed at to leave by the owner. They were looking around for furniture when he confronted them and shouted multiple curse words, even telling them to "Shut Up" when they began defending themselves. He then followed them outside and yelled at them to "Get the f*** out and never come back!". Will not be shopping here in the future. read more

To make a long story short the customer service you get in there store is not the customer service you get once you purchase something from there. There are hidden fees to delivery third party $150 normal charge. The items I thought were going to be new later I found out through the Owner - Mohammad who depending on the situation will tell you he is just a Manager but really the owner. I would of never came to the store had I known the items they sold were"as is". The sale people tell you they can get new or its down at 1 of 3 warehouse they have over 20,000 items. We wind up with instead of a new bunk-bed like promised it was the display model the display sticker right on the furniture in the store and the mattress i was told would come with $300 each was the same display mattress that were in on the display that i looked at the bunk-bed was for my 8 yr old daughter when it came to my home it was scratched up due to whomever took the bunk-bed down scratched around the holes, some of the bed parts were still attached the screws were in a sandwich bag instead of a sealed direct from manufacturer. My wife both went into the store with Snap Finance approvals to purchase but they even doing dirty on low charging additional fees to snap. My television experience was supposed to be Sceptre 43" inch 4k for $599.00 + tax which also included $250 blue ray player when I found out I told the store to cancelled the order they then told me they would give it to me for the same price I saw it at walmart. I was told it was going to be delivery by UPS or Fed Ex same day by 8pm. It never came. I called the store to find out when I am getting television they tell me not until wed 3 days later. Earlier in day I was told everything I purchased would be delivery yesterday between 5pm - 6pm later to find out television that I was supposed to have was not delivered I was told by Troy that Mohammad was going to Walmart buy the 43" tv at 189.00 they were going to up charge it add the blue ray and it would cost me another 697 now i find out today 11/6/18 the television is still not in route to my home or to the store they charged me for items and I never received any of the items. On top of the saleman Troy not returning my calls or texts i would of them rather lied directly in my face but when you do it to hurt my 8yr old daughter its down right messed up. I work hard for the money I expected quality items (NEW) not as is like I have been told. On top of that snap finance still wants there payment on time and told my wife they would still debit her bank account. This has been two days of headache and hell. I would never recommend anyone to go here all you will be giving false promises and lies. Stay far away from this place of business!!!! if you care about your children or family members and friends. read more

As along the same lines as the customer below me, I purchased a laptop from this company where I could not open the package beforehand to see the status of it, was put on a financial plan of a staggering 80% interest. I took it home a realized I had made a bad choice. Returned the next day, in under 24 hours and they would not take it back. I quoted the phrase to the owner "the customer is always right" he responded with "the man who said that died alone and penniless, I will not sir". Greed, shadiness, and disrespectful to customers who decided to spend their hard earned money with them. Please do not shop here. You will regret it. read more

Drove 35 minutes and got there at 6:30 pm. They say online that they are open til 8pm, the doors were locked, so I called and he said that they close early whenever they are short staffed (in my opinion, I know why) when I told him that I drove across town to get there, he became rude and told me if I couldn't get there by 6 the next day, I can't pick up my order. Then he said he isn't employed by the people I ordered from and hung up on me. He signed up to receive these orders and he gets paid for it. If you close at 6 when you should be open til 8, maybe they should put that online?? So people don't drive across town for nothing? Then get treated like crap when I call to find out what happened?? I didn't say anything that should have triggered such a response. Little does he know, but we just got a house that had zero lighting in all 3 of our bedrooms and I saw some nice lighting through the window. We could have been great customers, but now we will just stick to a place closer to us. I will NEVER go there again. read more

I have been given three different delivery dates and times, told the product is in town not sure why it will not be in my area for days. I have been getting the run around since the day I went in this store. Horrible service!!!! read more

I recently decided to stop in A Better Home Store and I'm so glad I did! I've been needing a new vacuum and was getting tired of ones that I had previously owned always breaking. Omar was very informative, helpful and friendly. I learned so much about vacuums and we found one that was perfect for what I needed. I didn't feel like he was just trying to sell me the most expensive one. He really listened to what I wanted and what I could afford and he worked with me from there. I definitely felt TAKEN CARE OF! They have such a wide selection of items as well, but it wasn't overwhelming since I knew what I was looking for and Omar listened to that and helped me make a selection. It was a very comfortable purchase. I'm gunna be in the market for a new couch here soon and I will most definitely be coming back to this store to make that purchase! Also, supporting a local shop feels really good!!! read more
