SleepNation - Park Meadows - Mattresses Near Me - Centennial, Colorado

Recently moved to town and was in search for a mattress. Found one quickly at SleepNation that fit our budget and was reasonably comfortable for the price. While I am happy with the product, I was extremely dissatisfied with the customer service I recieved here, which was shocking, due to the positive reviews I had read beforehand. I ordered the mattress and was told it would make it here in three days and that they would call me to set up a delivery time. No one called, I had to call THEM to set it up. Delivery day comes around and I've waited around all day, it's 30m before the delivery window closes, so I give Sean (the owner) a call. He calls me back telling me he has no idea where my mattress is or when it will arrive, in other words, it's been "lost"? Why wouldn't I have heard about this earlier? So, I'm still calm at this point, although irritated because I've been the one having to hound about the mattress and...now it's lost. It takes over a week for our mattress to get to the store...10 days actually. I've been sleeping on a blow up mattress this entire time. AGAIN, I have to keep calling Sean to figure out what is going on with the location of the mattress. He finally offers to bring me a queen mattress version of the mattress I had ordered, because I was about to cancel my order. Then, one of his guys tries to get me to sign a document stating that I am recieving the KING I ordered...not happening. So my mattress arrives (apparently) and I only find out because I have, once again, had to reach out to him. He wants to deliver it at his convenience, without much warning, "how about in 30 minutes?" How about no. This whole time the only information I recieved about my mattress and its whereabouts were by having to find out on my own. The whole time the owner was so non chalant about the whole thing, had no sense of urgency, was unapologetic, and to make things even worse, he offered to refund my delivery fee...and then BIG surprise, I had to REMIND him. When you own a business the most important aspect of your job is providing customer service. This was absolutely horrendous. Take your money some place else, it's not worth the risk. read more

We purchased a Wazee King Latex Mattress from Sleep Nation and are very very pleased with the bed. The research, testing & purchase experience with Sleep Nation was also great. The reps Art and Romeo were both very friendly and informative while avoiding the off-putting high pressure tactics we suffered at other mattress merchants. Sean, the owner, was available throughout our experience. He was very patient with our multiple inquiries for rather specific information about Sleep Nation's products. We came to the store multiple times to lay on the beds, just to be sure, and each time we received attentive, friendly service. We spent a lot of time researching latex beds online & in town and found the Sleep Nation Wazee to be a great value and extremely comfortable. In the end, the deal we got at Sleep Nation was competitive with an online purchase but without the hassle of shipping/unpacking or the unknowns of not getting to test the bed. Let me start with, I love my bed. The entire issue is their customer service. I bought the bed on a Friday. When I went in I had to wait because the salesman was on the phone trying to smooth things over due to a delivery issue with another customer... red flag. I was promised a Sunday delivery with a call on Saturday giving a 2 hour time window. No call Saturday. Called Sunday and was told my bed was on a truck delayed somewhere. No bed Sunday but I'd get a call Monday to schedule delivery. No call Monday. I called Tuesday and was told it would be delivered in the evening before 8pm. Got a call at 7:30pm saying 30 minutes. Called them back at 9:15pm and was told 20 minutes. The delivery men got to my house at 10:40pm (who thinks this is an acceptable time for furniture delivery, especially on a week night?). The bed was in the room, i threw some sheets on and moved on with my life. Fast forward a week later. I went to change the sheets as found a large rip where the side and bottom of the mattress meet that i missed at delivery. Called the store and was met with some resistance but ended up ordering a new mattress with an earliest delivery date 2 weeks out. My husband stopped in on his way home to discuss the issue and was told rudely, "I already talked to your wife and ordered a new mattress, what else do you want?" Well... definitely nothing else from you, ever. The replacement bed came.. we were given a 4.5 hour delivery window on a Saturday afternoon, thanks for wasting my only day off waiting around.. bed was delivered 45 minutes after the latest possibility. Great bed and service! We live near by and stopped in after doing a ton of research on mattresses. We were convinced after researching that we really wanted to feel what a latex mattress was really like. We spent 2 hours in the store with awesome help from one of the guys there (sorry can't remember name - started with C maybe). We ended up buying a Wazee Cal. King and they just happened to have one marked down because it had an old cover on it. Marked down substantially. We took it, a new frame, and box spring. It was delivered later in the week. After sleeping on it a few days, there was something odd with it. We felt like we were rolling toward the center and the firmness varied across the mattress, almost like someone had slept only on one side for a while. We went back in the next weekend and talked to the same guy who said that shouldn't be and assured us it was a brand new mattress. I read there are often seams in latex beds that large do get the proper dimensions so he suggested we unzip the cover and see if there are and seams in it. Sure enough, there were not one, but two seams longitudinally. We took some photos, went back to the store, showed him and within 30 second said that wasn't right and they would bring us another mattress, no issue. I emailed the photos to him for documentation and received a call later that night from Sean - the owner. Of course I at first thought he was going to try to reneg on the replacement mattress, but I was wrong. He wanted to come take a closer look at it and feel it himself since he would be out of town when the mattress was to be returned to the warehouse. I had no problem with that and he came to our place, on a Sunday no less, toe check this out. He stated for sure it was wrong and likely from their latex manufacturer trying to eliminate waste. He didn't seem pleased and apologized again for the issue. We got the new mattress and my wife said it is 100% better already. I'm travelling so I'll find out later. I stopped in this store after getting cost ideas from other stores. Pete did a great job helping me figure out what I needed He told me about and showed me the mattress construction and made a recommendation. I didn't feel pressure, and Pete answered all my questions and showed me other options. His first recommendation was the bed I liked the best and ended up buying. Mattress was 50% off. Mattress, box spring, and bed frame cost less than $650 including taxes for what I thought was the most comfortable bed. I will return when I need another mattress read more

Pete Schmidt greeted me casually and we talked briefly about my needs. He directed me to a perfect bed for me and it was 50% off. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. After writing about my first experience at the store, I was quickly contacted by Sean, the owner. Sean was extremely apologetic, quite friendly, and genuinely eager to make sure I had a better experience. I appreciated that he reached out and visited SleepNation's new store near Cherry Creek. I had a top notch experience with Sean and even purchased a mattress. Yay! It was a great experience. Sean was very knowledgeable and never made me feel pressured to buy. Compared to my other visits to mattress stores where I felt hounded, this was the most relaxed shopping experience. Sean explained all of the different details about the mattresses, how they were made, and how they differed. These are really high quality mattresses made with the best quality materials, and the prices are very good. I spent a lot of time researching mattresses and learned a lot about mattress construction and design via a site called Mattress Underground, and all reviews pointed to SleepNation mattresses being the best in Denver! I think it's neat that these are made locally, too. Sean was so polite and just genuinely a nice person. I can't wait to get my new mattress and will highly recommend SleepNation to others. Again, I appreciate that Sean reached out, and I think it shows a high level of character. From the moment we walked in the store we felt so comfortable! We were greeted by Shaun and throughtout the rest of our interaction with him he remembered and addressed both my boyfriend and I by our first names. He was extremely knowledgeable, no pressure and even gave us two names of competing mattress stores when we asked as this was our first stop and we wanted to look around a bit more to do our due diligence although when we left Sleep Nation by husband and I both looked at each other and said simultaneously to each other "we'll be back and do business with Shaun I bet". AND we did! The mattress is amazing and we love the fact that it is eco friendly. Also, we ordered the bed on the Monday before the Fourth of July. Shaun said that he would do his best to have it arrive at the earliset date possible which was Wednesday the 3rd, but most likely the Monday after the holiday. BUT guess what, it is 10:10pm and they are here setting up our bed for us!!! What customer service! We just moved here and needed our bed ASAP and they not only know that but they delivered!! When my Darling Daughter recently moved to Denver, we decided it would be less costly to buy her a new mattress set than to haul her old one from California. We picked Sleep Nation sort of randomly from an online search or mattress stores and are really happy we did. I explained the budget, and that we would likely not move it back to California, so didn't want to spend a fortune, but still wanted a decent set. There was absolutely no pressure to upsell as the DD tried out mattresses, and the salesman was very understanding about my paying for it and them storing it for delivery after the DD found a place to live. Although he was helping another customer, we could've easily been acknowledged. Instead, he went out his way to ignore our presence, which takes work with my 6'6" frame. Retail basics. This is a very nice store. My wife and I went looking for a bed for our guest room and came out of the store having a pleasant experience. The owners were very relaxed letting us try out different mattresses and giving us all the details on how one mattress differs from others. We never felt pressured to buy from them or to buy a particular mattress. I also liked that their products are green and the friendly conversation that took place in the more than 30 minutes we were there. Spink & Co, Bradford. Finally found the most amazing natural organic mattress, but with state of the art technology. This is truly a farm to bed product. No smell or off-gassing which can be toxic. Changed from Tempur-pedic, very expensive mattresses. My spouse has back issues and I have hip and sciatica issues. You experience solid support but it's like sleeping on the softest cloud ever. After the first week we experienced so much relief. Now have been sleeping on this mattress for two months and they have virtually disappeared. I cannot wait to hop in the bed every night. It's like getting a big warm hug. My experience with Sean and staff at Sleepnation in Denver, Co, was extremely courteous professional and expedient. They were patient and not pushy, and proactive as we went in to try out different options. Remember to get 15" fitted deep pocket sheets. This is a very thick and plush mattress. The best ever! My wife and I came in here to get an idea of what kind of mattress we wanted. We were worried that we would be hassled the entire time but how else are you supposed to figure out what kind of mattress to buy. Cody helped us out and was great. He wasn't pushy and didn't try to up-sell us. He took the time to explain the pros/cons of each style and steered us in the right direction. I would have given him the five stars then but I didn't want to rate this until my purchase was in the house. My delivery came in the time window I was told, the guys were polite and quick and they explained when the mattress should be flipped. As good of an experience as I could hope for. If I could give 0 stars I would. Total scam, & not worth the money savings. Frame already collapsed on me. Box springs are not straight & don't fit the mattress. Delivered in the back of a beat up pickup truck with snow all over my mattress. Tracked mud & snow all over my house. Threw my mattress on the wet street. Mattress all wet. Do yourself a favor and go to a real mattress store, you will pay a little more but it is worth it. I am thoroughly disappointed in myself for being cheap & going here. Three months later, we are still loving our Wynkoop St. mattress. *This is an update to the original review that follows it* After not hearing anything from Sleep Nation for about a month, I received a very apologetic phone call from one of the owners. He was sorry that he had not seen my review sooner, sorry that I had a bad experience, and wanted to make it right. I explained that I had wrote the following review when I was feeling quite frustrated. My concern was simply that our mattress wasn't a good fit for me, and that I'd received poor customer service. I never felt that the mattress was of poor quality. On the contrary, I felt it was well made, simply too firm. He found a time that worked for us to return to a different Sleep Nation store (at my request since I was feeling a bit sheepish), and we worked with our original sales person. He took quite good care of us, and we are currently awaiting the arrival of our new mattress. I am confident that it will be a better fit and will help solve my sleeping pain. I was never asked to update my review, although I recognized what a bad review can mean to a business and offered to take it down. I was told that Sleep Nation would rather have honest reviews and suggested that if I wanted to do something I could simply amend it. Wow! Thank you for all of your help and for turning a negative experience into a positive one! I am changing this review from one star to five. *Original Review* On Friday, November 24, 2017 at around 10:30 am I visited your store. I was there to inquire about trading a mattress in that I had purchased within the pyear. It was your Blake firm model, and had caused me rib pain for quite some time. I had previously tried to return it two times earlier in the year, but each time your employees convinced me to "rotate the mattress" and suck it up. However, this day I had finally reached the end of my "sleeping rope," and was determined that this time I would find something that would allow me to sleep better. I simply wanted to exchange it for a less firm model in the same line. This should not have been a big deal since multiple times I was told that your year warrantee to trade in for a different mattress should cover it. When I entered your store on Black Friday there were a total of three people in your store; two salesmen and me. Neither of them greeted me. I walked around for a bit and then told one of them why I was there. To say that he was very unhelpful would be an understatement. He told me that you no longer had that same model of the Blake mattress, and I therefore would not be able to simply trade it in. Furthermore, although I had purchased my mattress on sale, if I wanted to trade it in for a different mattress that you carried I would have to trade it in for the full price of the other mattress. So basically even if I traded in your top of the line innerspring(the Blake), I would still need to pay an additional $1000 for your basic model. What?! They explained to me that the company couldn't lose money. Well maybe the company should have thought about that before informing the customer of their one year warrantee. I'm not certain why your salesmen were so standoffish with me. I have relayed this incident to several other people, and they have commented that perhaps I should have brought my husband with me. I really would like to believe that wasn't the case. Perhaps your salesmen didn't know that although my husband in an executive at a major US company, I am the one that makes the majority of the financial decisions in our home. I also graduated Magna cum laude from a well-known university and do everything from file my own taxes to tile my own bathroom. And I can certainly remember what has been promised to me. In closing, I'd like to share with you what I shared with your employees as I left, since I am sure they didn't let you know. You have unfortunately lost my business. I was not there that day to only exchange a mattress, I also wanted to purchase two more. All I really wanted was a good nights sleep, and supporting a local company was icing on the cake. We purchased the Orchard Rd King size mattress and after one year it developed significant impressions making it difficult to achieve a good night's sleep. We rotated it consistently, but this had no impact. After speaking with the sales people and Sean several times over several months, we believe that the impressions were likely due to the fact that the latex portion of the mattress is only 2 inches thick or less thick than the remaining portion which is what Sean called "plush" foam and is more susceptible to impressions. If you purchase a bed of this type, we would strongly recommend making sure it is all latex. read more

My husband and I have shopped around trying various mattresses for a long time. We wanted all talalay latex and we need/want both support and pressure relief. In spite of having access to some significant discounts through other sources, we ended up at SLEEP NATION and are SO GLAD WE DID. From the first night we've slept better and that continues to improve. We got great service, fair pricing for a quality product and a great testing experience and product guidance too. We were encouraged to test as long as we could and not rushed or pressured in any way which I always appreciate when shopping for such a big purchase. I would definitely recommend Sleep Nation's talalay latex products!
