YES, YOU CAN BUY A MATTRESS DURING THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. So I moved into a new house and badly needed a mattress, just as the whole virus thing happened. You can't, like, go to a store and lay down and mattresses during this thing -- at least not during lockdown, when I happened to need a mattress -- so I decided to try calling Andy to see if he'd be able to coach me through a purchase by phone. I wouldn't think that "mattress-by-phone" would work, but Andy is freaking brilliant. We spent like an hour on the phone, talking through my wife and my sleep preferences, and he explained how all of the different materials worked, sent me links to a few options, and then helped me make a final decision about how to customize the firmness of the mattress. Frankly, he nailed it. That's the wizardry of a nice guy who knows how to listen -- and who has been helping people find mattresses for a long, long time. Yeah, the mattress is awesome and organic, and that's great. We chose one that has three layers of foam, so you can continue to tweak the firmness over time. That's also great. THERE IS NO RETURN POLICY THESE MATTRESSES. IF YOU BUY IT, YOU OWN IT. We received a mattress with defective springs. We sent the photos to customer support and the manufacturer right away. And while the company's customer service was nice and responsive, they took NO responsibility or fault for the deformity of the mattress coils. Instead they instructed us several times to take photos of the damaged coils and dimensions (which we did) and in return after several phone-calls and emails they did nothing but forwarded us an email from their manufacturer also not wanting to take responsibility. It is not like us to leave a negative review, but I'd be very cautious about ordering from this company online and would instead recommend ordering from a company with some sort of guarantee or return policy. Was not informed of their no return policy when talking to salesperson who was only working that weekend when I called. I bought a product that I was already familiar with but it ended up being the wrong thing. They promised it was the same and it wasn't. This was an internet deal mind you so wouldn't have purchased if i had known merchant was not flexible about return. Anyway, I spoke with Andy and he asked me why I disputed amount with CC. I informed him that his no return policy did not show up on internet. So he changed his website to reflect policy after the fact. I still returned product and got my money back. After our conventional mattress went to hell within 2 years of purchase, my hubby and I had had enough. Andy was great. He was patient, answered our many questions, and ensured our bed was delivered and setup with ease. We decided to move to a natural bed after reading many reports about high absorption rates of chemicals while sleeping, and because we were tired of replacing expensive beds repeatedly in the last few years. The showroom boasts beautiful wood floors and Andy is so very nice, knowledgable and helpful. I am so grateful for all the assistance Andy and Ryan gave me via email and telephone with the purchase of a twin Yarmouth platform bed and 2 underbed drawers. It's sometimes difficult to see if colors on the internet will be the true shades. I had a helpful conversation with Andy about this and when he said that the "cinnamon" would be like Mid-century teak, I knew that it would be a good match since that is the style of my other furniture. Both fellows were patient and friendly as they answered my queries regarding shipping, assembly, etc.. The bed and drawers arrived sooner than quoted. The assembly was done by my son and a friend. One bolt and barrel nut for one of the drawers didn't fit and I emailed Andy and a replacement was sent within a week. We worked with Andy over the course of a year to make our purchase - he was super chill, helpful and insightful throughout. We ran his prices against the web and they came in better than the internet, which was unusual. The only bump we ran into was a less-experienced staffer who was working on the day we made the purchase, and he seemed a bit flustered by the exchange. We returned the next day to make sure everything was copacetic and Andy tied everything right up. We did a split cash and loan payment and he worked it out smoothly. The bed came in 2-3 weeks later and Andy kindly delivered it on a Saturday amidst his own move, including carrying the pieces up three stories and helping me assemble it.
