I've bought flooring and stair risers here before. They have a great selection and good sales. Spoke with Brandon, and he was exceedingly helpful! I have to measure and decide whether to carpet the stairs or use wood. Their installation prices seem fairly high, at $2.09 a square foot, plus it's $35 for them to come over and see the space. That does get applied to the installation charges. However, I'm comparing them to some guy named Steve whom I have in my phone. I'll get estimates after I measure. I'm very happy with my previous purchases, and do not expect to be disappointed with any future purchases. While I will look at Home Depot, etc, I think that their prices will probably be higher. read more

The Lone Tree store staff are helpful and professional. This review is regarding the product I received (approx. 3000 sf of Bellawood engineered hardwood flooring). Several planks started rising above others and separating (the actual thin layers of wood from the filler materials). I contacted their "customer care" team and sent the required photos + answered some questions. I then received an email from someone named Abner stating that my case was being reviewed. Months later - nothing. I've called, emailed, and even gone into the Lone Tree store, where a staff member very helpfully sent an email about this to four people. I was informed that some guy named Omar was in charge. Omar never answers or returns calls. Someone named Emily is his superior and she does not answer or return calls. A friendly warning to consumers: This company does not honor its warranty. read more

I have been working with this store for over a decade, installing flooring in more than a dozen units, many of which were our own investment properties. The customer service, price and quality of their product is tough to beat, and virtually always better than the home improvement stores. The customer service at this location has been great, but I received one bad box (out of 3000 sf), and no one at the corporate level will return my calls about getting this repaired. I'm repeatedly told that some guy named Omar will be in touch. His extension always goes to voicemail. Do business with this company (Lumber Liquidators - Lone Tree, Co) at your own peril. The most incompetent staff ever who blatantly and without any shame lie to you. I picked out flooring that I wanted then was told that it was a discontinued product and they were unable to warranty the product, but they would check with corporate to see if they could sell it to me and provide installation, and if I didn't hear back from them in two days' time that we would go ahead and seal the deal and an installer would provide an estimate. The next call I received was from the installer to make an appt to measure, which was scheduled. When I did not hear back from the company six days after the measurement, I called and was given a positively ridiculous explanation that the measurement was not uploaded to their portal and they would get back to me. They did not call back so I called them once again and spoke to quite possibly the most difficult person (Brandon) that I have ever had the misfortune of speaking to. He blatantly lied to me, lectured me on "expectations of their customers" and so forth. He then wanted to go over the quote that they somehow just received because of a Herculean effort on their part, was told they could not install the product I wanted then wanted to do a bait and switch to sell me a higher priced product. The estimate for my very small job (576 square feet) came in at a whopping 7000 dollars. Save yourself the trouble by going somewhere else that respects you and wants your business. read more

Hardwoods or laminates on the cheap? Look no further than Lumber Liquidators. This shop is tucked back along Park Meadows drive (sort of in a strip of offices). Its a blink and you missed it kinda spot. We hit it up on Saturday and the place was a ghost town. Now, this isn't a huge showroom. In fact it is really small, but they make up for it by piling up the samples. The staff was friendly and helpful without being pushy. We were just shopping and not ready to buy and they understood and just answered questions and got us samples. All in all it was a positive experience. The costs are low, the staff was helpful and if you don't find what you want in the store you can always go to their on-line store! Its a winner! read more

I've long said that most of the world operates at a B- . This store is proof of that. I placed an order for items I needed for my flooring project in Parker. The folks here shipped my item to my billing address instead of my shipping address. Instead of having everything I needed for my flooring project, it's sitting in California, about 1,000 miles away from where my project actually is. Sweet. I don't know how something like this could get this messed up, but these guys managed to surprise me. read more

The sales crew at the Lone Tree location were great. Connor and Tommy went over everything and were super helpful. Once we paid the $11,000 in full, everything went to heck. Our delivery date was pushed back several times. The way LL distributes from their warehouses makes no sense whatsoever. Finally, after being pushed out another month, we called corporate to speak to a district manager. We left two messages, were told a DM would get back to us, not one return phone call. We finally called and requested a refund. The person who took that phone call blamed the delays on the manufacturer, which was not true. We basically gave LL an $11,000 interest free loan for three months. We ended up going with Macdonald Flooring in Denver. They were quick, honest, professional, less expensive, offer a better product AND they only use their own installation people. New floors will be here this week. Get your act together, LL! You have some really great sales people, however you don't seem to care about distribution and integrity. *UPDATE*: As you can tell from Lauren's rote response below, no one is at the wheel at Lumber Liquidators. Installation never even occurred. She apparently did not even read the review properly. Pay attention, consumers...this company is a joke. Will never shop here again!! To begin with, the home we purchased had all new flooring from Lumber Liquidators. This floor stated that it had a lifetime warranty. The floor began to fail shortly after we moved in so I called only to be told that the warranty remains in tact for the homeowner that purchased the flooring. Even though the material was only a couple of months old the warranty was no longer in effect. We had to place a customer order recently for several pieces that have completely failed. The order was placed over 1 month ago. Was promised it would arrive in 7 to 10 days and we would receive a call. 2 weeks went by and no call so we called them. A portion of the order was in but the other was on back order, expected to arrive that next Monday with another call promised and never received. Went to the store today and the back order is still not in with the same exact response as before. Should be in Monday with another call. read more

After going back and actually buying flooring, I'm going to update my review. It's now a 2 star rather than 4. The purchasing process was actually fairly easy when we went back. We were able to take home all the flooring with us, but they had to order the trim pieces and stair nosing that we needed. They gave me a 2 week time period for delivery, but when I called back later and asked it somehow became 2 weeks (even tho some of it came in in 1 week, and the rest were 2.5 - go figure). So I get the flooring home and quickly realize that one of the things I got (stair risers) wouldn't work for me at all. They actually didn't give me any trouble about returning these, go figure. I got 46 boxes of laminate (6 planks per box) and since they have a very stringent 30 day return policy I went thru each box to check the boards for defects. Here's where I had my first problem: Every box had at least 1 board that had a defect. I also had 1 whole box where the edge of the lock/click was crushed. I called LL back to complain and see what the return policy was since I had effectively 4 boxes of bad planks and the woman (the manager) I talked to told me that I couldn't mix and match boxes to get a full box of bads and that there had to be more than 10% bad per box to return the box. It doesn't take much logic to see that 1 board out of 6 being bad is more than 10%, which would mean that I'd have to return more than 90% of my boxes and hope that those didn't have the same defect (almost all of the boxes had the bottom plank with a v-notch cut out of the underlayment). The manager didn't seem to understand my logic or my math. I checked all the wood and debated the pros/cons of trying to return it with the pain of dealing with the manager and what I have to work with. Since I'm doing my stairs and obviously have corners/sides to deal with it seemed easiest just to make sure that I use the bad pieces first and cut off the sides that have the problems. I haven't finished my floors yet by a long shot, but this manager was such a pain to deal with that there's no way I'll ever go back. Regrettably, everyone else I've dealt with at this store (such as the clerks who helped me return my risers I didn't need, and helped me when my finishing pieces came in) is perfectly fine. It's really the manager's whole attitude that's steering me away. read more

Zero is more like it. Installed the Baboo product. Few weeks later there were gaps as large as 3/4". Lumber liquidators would not warranty the product. Our installer (personal friend and excellent contractor) said he would install any other product for us for free. He also said he will never install LL product again. It is very frustrating dealing with this company. The claims agent claimed that she called us back numerous times (no record of calls to my wife's mobile phone). Tired of the lies. There is not much we can do with this company. They do not stand behind their product. I think we will simply drop our flooring off at their front door when we replace it. I hope my post costs them 100 times more than they cost me. Your name should mean a lot to you on this world. Clearly LL doesn't care about their brand and their name. read more

Disastrous Experience! TERRIBLE INSTALLATION MANAGER AND NO STORE RESPONSIBILITY. The store had sent Jerome Wilrye out to do a measure. We asked how much they would charge for a diagonal installation. We liked the price and moved forward with hiring Lumber Liquidators (LL). Upon delivery, the delivery person refused to deliver it into the garage. We were told they would lift it from a pallet on the truck into the garage. The delivery person didn't do that and instead insisted my boyfriend help him unload the 50+ boxes. This morning, the installers showed up on time at 7:00. John, the lead installer saw the job and said they were not doing a diagonal install for the price that Jerome quoted. They left and said they would take it up with Jerome. After many phone calls to LL, Lone Tree, and being told there was no manager on duty that could assist today, and several calls with Jerome, he told us it was his error in that he underestimated the price and that a laminate product should not be laid on a diagonal. We accepted that it could not be laid on a diagonal and asked that the contractors come back out and asked that LL do something to make up for this error. Jerome then informed us that because his crew did not start work at 7:00 (by their choice), they refused to start work for today, but that they would come back Wednesday. I explained that we had other installers and a move line up after them and that we needed them to come back today. They refused. We have had our share of contractor problems through this renovation but LL is the most unprofessional business I have dealt with to date. I only wish I had read all of the negative reviews prior to hiring them. As a prior review said--run away fast from this store. read more

He told us that if we weren't going to listen to him and just talk over him then he's done with us. And he walked away. Let's start out with the fact that the installers that LL Flooring uses deserve 5+ stars - everyone at Flawless Floors was amazing, we are very happy with the install and their customer service, and that should be separate from the experience with LL Flooring themselves. I wasn't impressed with the customer service at the Lone Tree location, and generally we are pretty easy-going and low maintenance - it takes a lot to make me want to write a negative review. When I called to ask for status updates (not to complain) I felt treated like a "problem customer" and was spoken to in a very unprofessional manner on two separate occasions. I've never been spoken to like that by a customer service representative, and if they didn't make you pay upfront I would have immediately gone somewhere else. I feel like if I pay over $10k for a project, I can call and ask for updates. The reason I was calling for updates was because when we placed the order, we were told that it would be done in two weeks and we were waiting for the floors to be done to move into our house. The entire project took 2 months, and absolutely COVID is going on, but if there is a delay I expect communication and I expect respectful communication. Also may need to adjust time estimates and set appropriate expectations if COVID is causing delays - we ordered our project in July so COVID wasn't a new circumstance at that time. All's well that ends well, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired and I would generally not recommend LL Flooring based on their lack of communication, poor expectation-setting and unprofessional customer service. read more

I recently purchased wood for hardwood floors, and am so happy with the results. The sales rep helping me at the store showed me pictures, offered helpful hints and even told me about discounts currently being offered for material and installation. We went with the installer offered through lumber liquidators, and I guess they contract out. The installers we had (Home Service Store-they contract out also, I think our installers names were Will and Dave) did such a great job. I would definitely recommend using LL. read more

I was sold underlay that I could not use and I was treated like I was a horrible person when i brought it back and still have not received my credit of over 600.00 and it's been a month. We had Morning Star Bamboo delivered to our house, which we insisted be brought into the house and not dropped in the garage as the delivery people wanted to do. The installers (recommended by Lumber Liquidators) tested the wood for moisture and it was a 13 and the floor can't be installed until it's below 7. We had to open all the boxes and the plastic wrap and let the bamboo dry out. The installers came back numerous times and 6 weeks later the bamboo was reading 6 to 7 so installation was done on Sept. 28, 2013. 3 months later gaps started to appear between the joints at 9 places throughout the house. The gaps range from 1/8 inch to 3/4 inch. Contacted Lumber Liquidators and the denied our claim and the gaps are normal and do to faulty installation due not letting the bamboo acclimate. No one should use these people with such poor customer service. read more

Back in May I wrote a horrible review on LL installation. Now, almost a year later I still have not had our problems resolved. It has been 15 months since we first started to get the installation fixed and we are still in the same place. Our repair was finally scheduled for tomorrow and the contract installer just called to say that he has not been paid by LL and will not do any more work for them. We were given various ridiculous reasons why the ordered lumber had not arrived by the due date, such as: tropical storm in factory vicinity, fellow that does hand-scraping was deathly ill, etc. Twice the wrong item was shipped to us and we had to go through the time & expense of returning it ourselves. If it was possible to provide zero stars that is what I would rate this company. Shortly after having professional install of high end pre finished Bellawood product we began noticing large gaps between the 5" planks. Our contractor and the installer felt the flooring was defective and contacted LL. After 3 weeks with no response the contractor escalated and finally got an "independent" inspection (paid / works for LL). Of course results came back that install was not to standards and environment was not perfect so warrenty was void. The warranty is worthless, LL is worthless. This company is circling the drain, don't let your money go down with them. May 22nd update: CEO of LL resigns 'unexpectedly'. As I previously stated don't let your hard earned remodel budget dollars go to waste with this company. read more

I would have chose a 0 star if possible. To say that this company is a horrendous disaster is an understatement. I am appalled at how this company functions. Let's start with employees and our first impression. My husband and I walked in to the store and KiKo was behind the counter. He put his finger up and told us he was busy and would be with us eventually. We walked around for 10 minutes, picked our floor out, called someone to ask their opinion and then KiKo eventually graced us with his presence. He walked over, we told him what we wanted and he rang us out. During that process, we told him we couldn't take delivery for 30 days as that was when we were taking possession of the house. He said no problem, and a Dec 1st delivery would be fine. We paid and left. 14 days later, I was called and told "our order was in " and we HAD to set delivery for that week. I reminded the person, assistant manager Travis, that we couldn't take it for another few weeks and was this ok. He begrudgingly agreed and I said I would call to arrange delivery on the 25th of November. I then called to arrange it; and was given the pleasure of speaking with Travis again. He then told me the bull noses weren't in yet and would have to pay two delivery fees if I wanted the order delivered before the bull noses were in. After requesting to speak with KiKo so I could work out the original arrangement, Travis told me he was the assistant manager and what he said was the rule. I explained that this was all discussed during the original purchase and let me speak with KiKo. He put me on hold, and when he came back was quantifiably nicer, and said they could deliver it in two shipments with no charge. Two weeks later, we received the flooring. Our contractor called us and told us the floor was so bad that he couldn't install it. I called the store, spoke with KiKo and told him we would be refunding it. KiKo told me I had a terrible contractor and they had an installer I could pay to install their awful floor. I refused and he hung up on me. A few days later, my husband called and talked to Travis and told him it was being returned. Travis then asked my husband if we could possibly return the flooring after the 1st of the year so he could maintain his numbers for his bonus. He agreed. Our contractor returned the flooring on the 31st and because it had snowed two days prior and was in a truck, this lovely establishment refuse delivery due to "water logged wood" that they couldn't prove and refused to explain. Store manager Paul is a gem of a human. He was rude, called us liars and told us he didn't care what our contractor was saying, the wood was "warped and damaged" and he was the "ultimate decisions maker" and we would not be refunding anything. Paul has somehow become a "fancy store manager" without having an ounce of customer service in his body. Way to go Paul! This place is an actual joke. Please do not shop here. They are rude and sell a product not worthy of being put outside in a barn let alone in a home. Pathetic customer service, pathetic product and pathetic company. read more

I wouldn't go anywhere else, the wood looks beautiful and the prices are reasonable. The staff was careful to explain that when you use bamboo you have to give it 6 weeks to air out, so I decided to go with laminent. Gene was very helpful and saved us money on our project. Spent about 6 months going back and forth and looking at all types of flooring. We were doing a complete remodel on a ranch style mountain home and needed about 1600 sq. feet. Looked at everything, even bought a case of what we thought we wanted to bring it home and lay it out to see if it was exactly what we wanted. Turned out it was too dark and we opted for the 3/4" Beartooth Mountain Oak. Finally made the decision and placed the order for 94 cases. Worked with Paul (Mngr) and Chris and had a great experience. Paul even credited us back for the case of flooring we didn't go with against our new order. Order arrived in about 2 weeks time and we had their service deliver to the house. Let acclimate for about 8 weeks due to travel and the GC finishing up interior items. We went back and forth on whether to hire out the install or do it ourselves. We ended up doing it ourselves. Wife is great at puzzles so she would do the layout of 6 or 7 rows and I would come behind and install. We also utilized their premium under layment which makes a huge difference. Total project took right at 2 weeks and it turned out great. Product is straight with very few defects as we were within 1/8" square on a 40 x 25 great room. Also purchased their installation tools, air nailer, staples, table saw, compound saw and everything worked great. Only misfire on the nailer was when I had my compressor turned off and not enough pressure. We only had about 2% waste as we took our time on layout. Ended up with 5 extra unopened cases of flooring and Paul took it back without any issues at all. Overall, a great experience with the folks at this store. Floor is awesome and we look forward to years of enjoyment. read more

I went in today to get some hardwood flooring for my bedroom. I worked with the manager Tommy, he was extremely professional and very friendly. I had some trash in the back of my car and I wasn't sure if the items would fit in the back with the trash. I wasn't sure how I was going to get rid of the large items I had. I was looking for a single piece of red oak to replace hall flooring that had been damaged by a water leak in our bathroom. Everywhere else would only sell an entire box of flooring for close to $100. We needed just one 2.25" strip about 30" long... Brandon searched around diligently and found exactly what we needed!
