Denver Dustless did what they said - provided us with like-new hardwood floors with a minimum of dust and mess. They were booked out a couple of weeks, but worked well with us on scheduling. We were able to get the floors done without having to be out of the house, which was a great benefit. We could step on the freshly done floors within a few hours so we could get upstairs. The odor was minimal as well, and did not cause any discomfort. I wish someone would do this service and also move furniture. The hardest part of the ordeal was getting large items moved out and back in again. We had called several companies with the same response, so it is not unusual. The one thing I would have liked was a say about the final finish. We were not asked how we would like it. It is matte rather than a shinier surface, and while it looks good, it is not what we would have chosen. Similarly, the original finish had a slight tint to it and this is much lighter. Again, it looks good but communication in advance would have been appreciated. I still highly recommend this company. The work was well done and efficient, and our floors look great. read more

Excellent service from Denver Dustless once again. They came in and patched an area of floor where a wall once was, refinished the entire area on both sides of the patch beautifully and followed up with a minor revision that needed to be done, all in a timely and on-budget fashion. I'm a separate floor contractor in Denver arrived at job in the am to find one person working all day while the time I was there the other person took a nap the whole entire time in his company truck .... when ready to leave he's eating his lunch I understand supervising but this was just despicable... Unbelievably bad - easily one of the worst businesses we've ever encountered...anywhere. The crew not only damaged our cherry floors, but the "dustless" process left 1/2"+ of dust over our *entire* house (including inside of cabinets and closers). To top it off, the crew (who chain-smoked and looked like they were coming off of a two-week long heroin bender) left lacquer rings all over our quartz countertops. Absolutely incompetent in every way. Had we not been in the middle of selling that home, would have sued them for everything they had. Avoid at ALL costs. Update: Yes, we have the right flooring company. I have an invoice as well the business card from your production manager (to whom we escalated) in my hand. You did work on our house in Parker 4/26/16 - ring any bells? Just getting to posting a review because your name came up during a discussion at my company about nightmare customer experiences (which reminded me I'd neglected to properly warn others). Guessing your records are just as bad as the rest of your company. read more

We are extremely satisfied with the work, price and staff- we very highly recommend!

I never write reviews but I want to help others avoid this company. The workmanship was terrible on our floor refinishing. Damage to baseboards. Tape remnants everywhere. Failure to refinish all the way to edges of the floor. Feels like we paid for professional work and they sent some subcontractors who had no idea what they were doing. read more

We had our floors refinished, they were quick, did a great job (floors look awesome) and didn't leave a mess. I Can't recommend them enough!

I had a positive experience with Denver Dustless. They provided a quick appointment for a quote. As soon as I was ready to have the work done (about a month later) they set an appointment within a week. Stephan did the work by himself which took two full days and two half days. I had prefab hardwood (gunstock) on the second floor of my home which was installed by Empire October of 2016. Stephan was able to match the stain to perfection! It's almost impossible to tell the upstairs apart from the main floor. My biggest fear was not being able to have a seamless hardwood floor look. Stephan knocked it out the park! Everyone's experience isn't always perfect but mine happened to be. Thanks Denver Dustless...you have a great worker in Stephan! read more

Denver Dustless did a great job refinishing our hardwood floors. We received a prompt estimate at the time we were scheduled. The final product came out great, except I was disappointed that there were some carry over to the baseboards in areas. I understand that can't be completely avoided in the process, but a few areas had more carry over than others and will need be be touched up. I think a little more attention to this detail could have avoided some of the large spots. Also it took some back and forth via email to schedule a stain sample, which I felt like could have been handled in a more "customer friendly" manner. There was some dust through the first floor but easily fixed with a swifter duster. Ultimately, everything got completed and I would recommend Denver Dustless as the floors look like new. It pains me to think that a business can survive based solely on their good reputation. Gone are the days where a business has to earn their customers. I waited over a month to get an estimate for my hardwood floors. I called to double check and triple check the appointment time because, as I am very busy, cannot spend extra time away from the office. The estimate guy apparently showed up early, didn't call me, and left before I got home to meet him. Granted I was 4 minutes late, but I waited over a month for him and he couldn't wait 5 minutes for me. They said over the phone that company policy is to call if they are early and to wait 15 minutes. I never received a call. Maybe he did wait his required 15 minutes, but how am I supposed to know that. Never once did I receive an apology for the inconvenience. Never was I offered a rescheduled estimate later this week. I was told I'd have to get back in line and wait another 3 weeks because it wouldn't be right for other people to have to miss their appointments. Denver Dustless, you have great reviews, but I can't fathom how you earned them if your customers have to work so hard to hire you. read more

GREAT JOB!!! I had some oak parquet that was looking pretty worn. I wasn't sure it could be sanded/refinished and look good again. But, I was very pleasantly surprised! Denver Dustless (Jeremy) thought there would be no problem getting it to look new again and he was right. I'M AMAZED AT THE RESULT! The floor looks fantastic and I'm so glad I didn't pay to have it all replaced. The crew was very professional and did a really good job both sanding and finishing. There were a couple tiny spots where I had to call them back to touch up, but they did without question. [One suggestion Denver Dustless: You could do a little better job wiping off the bottom of cabinets and walls where the sanding was done; and the front porch where the sanders were emptied.] A few notes for anyone getting a floor refinished. (1) It's not really "dustless". There isn't a lot of dust with the equipment they use, but there is dust. I didn't have plastic put up or anything - just had to do a little extra dusting afterwards. (2) Be prepared to be out of your house ALL DAY (12 hrs) for 2-3 days. (3) Have this done at a time of year where you can totally open the house up to ventilate the fumes - nasty! Overall - Highly Recommend! [Work done: October 2013] read more

I am so happy to see so many positive, current reviews. We used Denver Dustless in 2008 and had an exceptional experience, so I'm glad their quality seem to be the same. They refinished original hardwood floors in our 1958 home in Broomfield. The "dustless" factor was hugely important to us as we were trying to live there while getting the floors redone- it made a HUGE difference compared to other dusty nightmares I've heard about other companies' processes. They took the time to hang plastic to keep the minimal dust they create from invading the rest of our carpeted areas, none of our baseboards were damaged, and the floors ended up looking beautiful! We had refinished them to make the house more marketable for sale, so I can't attest to how they've held up, but it certainly made us wish we'd done it sooner so we could have enjoyed those gorgeous floors. So, if you're thinking about refinishing your floors- do it! So worth it to enjoy the immediate beauty they add to your home. The whole process was easy. Easy quote, great price, clean and speedy service, and I have recommended them many times over the years. read more

Upon moving into our new house, we called a number of different hardwood companies to give us an estimate for installing new hardwood flooring and refinishing existing flooring so that it would all match. Not only was Denver Dustless the best price, but their work was fantastic. They were incredibly responsive from Day One, answering every phone call and never missing a deadline. They were courteous, on-time and the work looks amazing. We had a lot of workers come through our house before we moved in and they were BY FAR the best. Would highly recommend to anyone. read more

Don't waste your time calling. They don't want your business. Called to have someone come to my business for an estimate, and was told They would be by " sometime tomorrow " Surprisingly, no one came by. Called again. Was told the same thing. Low and behold, no one came by. In my opinion, top rated businesses should act in a professional manner, and not waste potential customers time. If you're too busy, or just don't want the work, thats fine. But don't tell people you're coming when you're not. read more

So I have a refinishing project that will probably run around 10K. You would think this company would be interested. I am in there area. I called and talked to ? last week, and was told someone would call me to schedule an appt. for an estimate. No call. I called again, and got a person who at the onset sounded dis-interested. But did make an appt. almost a week out. I hope I find a good floor refinishing company before they come out, because the obviously don't need the business. Very pleased with Denver Dustless. they sent Clean Sweep Dustmasters to completely seal our kitchen cabinets and house to protect from the sanding. the only downside was Clean Sweep gave us little notice of their arrival and did not educate me on the sealing process. once the plastic is up you have no access to anything in your kitchen except the refrigerator. So I was scrambling to take necessities out of the kitchen because we would not have access for several days. Otherwise, the process was about as "dustless" as possible. There was nothing in the cabinets and only a little residue on surfaces probably from taking down the plastic. Denver Dustless team was timely, polite and knowledgeable about their jobs. I highly recommend them. read more

I couldn't not be more satisfied with Denver Dustless! 4 years ago, the contractor doing our remodel introduced me to this company. "DD" installed beautiful Acacia hardwood throughout our home, with the exception of the Master Bedroom, in which we put carpeting. After 4 years and pet stains which refused to disappear after cleanings and spot cleanings, I decided to have the Acacia wood put in the bedroom. The job was just completed and the bedroom looks fabulous! The wood matches the rest of the house perfectly. Paulo did a great job of installing and cleaned up thoroughly upon completion of installation. Marcella (in the main office) was a delight to work with. I cannot recommend Denver Dustless highly enough! read more

I just had one of the worst experiences I've had with a company. Denver Dustless repaired and refinished the top floor of my house back in February. I immediately noticed there were areas where they did not fully lace the flooring up to the kitchen island, fireplace and wall. In these places the subfloor is visible. There is also a small hole in the master bedroom and discoloration with the stain. My general contractor communicated with them and said they would have them come back out at a later date to correct the issues. This week, Denver Dustless came out to review the repairs and also assess some water damage that occurred due to a broken refrigerator (obviously not their fault). They were very hard to schedule with, would not commit to a time until the day before, moved the day the night before. They have little regard/notice to one's time or work schedule. One of his first comments when he arrived was that my house looked like a disaster. I am still finishing the renovations, moving in, unpacking, work a full-time job and am pregnant while my husband is away for work for 6 months. I am trying to get the house in order as best I can so that really hurt my feelings. I showed him the water damage and repairs I'd like to have done from their original work. He became very defensive and said that the issues where the floors were not laced in were not their fault. My painters were here and felt bad at the way I was being treated. One painter asked about the cracks in the floor. Denver Dustless insisted those were normal. When we challenged that and asked more questions he became visibly angry. My painter said I was being very nice just asking questions trying to understand. Denver Dustless claimed it was because of my heater and that it is very dry here in Denver. He said I needed to get a humidifier to prevent all the cracking. I told him yes, it is dry here in Denver but I have radiant heat which I have heard is less dry as it is a water/steam system. My painters said they do not have those cracks in their floors and I have friends who have hardwood floors that do not look as bad as mine. He laughed at my response. I said "I feel like you are being condescending. I am just trying to ask questions and understand." He proceeded to walk away and put on his shoes. While walking out he said "You all are part of the 'YouToo' movement and you are on your own." He refuses to make any corrections to their work. I tried to engage him again and let him know I just was asking questions to understand but he refused to talk. I let him know how unprofessional I felt he was behaving. I have no interest in having Denver Dustless repair anything and am happy to engage another company. read more

I'm torn on what to rate Denver Dustless. On one hand, they did a GREAT job on the flooring itself. It's beautiful, professional and will last us a long time. They got the job done pretty quickly, about 4 days total for our main floor plus part of our upper floor. All in all, super happy with the floor! Where they were lacking was communication and clean up. When the job was done, they had cut the carpet at some of the edges of the wood too short for the carpet stretcher to be able to tuck it at the edges, which were also cut incredibly unevenly. This meant that we had to buy extra transition pieces we didn't plan on originally and the carpet tuck guy had to come back twice to finish the job. They also left one spot that was supposed to have a transition piece with too narrow a gap between the wood and the tile to insert it, which means that we are going to have to pull up some of the wood, re-cut it and re-install it ourselves in order to fit the transition on. Fun! All of these things could have been avoided by better up front communication and planning with us when they did the measurements and quote, or even part way through the job to confirm the plan. When discussing some of these issues with my husband, the project manager got really heated and unfriendly. Finally, they left a pretty big mess when they were done, so we were picking up dust, carpet particles, wood pieces and underlayment scraps for a while afterward. read more

Denver Dustless refinished the hardwood floors in our home. The floors look brand new! They were reasonably priced, trustworthy, professional, and on time. The patch work and refinish really made the floors look as if they were just installed. Denver Dustless recently refinished all of our oak floors as well as two sets of oak stairs. The entire transaction was very smooth, from the initial estimate by Donnie, to the major sanding and refinishing by Addison and his partner, to the final finish work on the stairs by Sean. They showed up when they said they would, they kept us informed of their progress throughout the job, and Donnie was very responsive when we had any questions and/or concerns. We're very pleased with the final product, and will not hesitate to use them again or to refer them to family and friends. read more

The office staff is very professional and prompt, but the communicativeness and professional behavior ends there. I used Denver Dustless for floor refinishing job a year ago, and they did a good job, but this time I wanted about 200 square feet of hardwood flooring put in. I was told the process would take a day, but then after the job began, I was told that was "impossible," and I was not informed how long the process would take. I ended up having to be home on four separate days waiting for people to come for a job that should have taken one day. The finished product is fine, but not great, and I had to spend an extra $200 on a handyman to reinstall the baseboards because they were so damaged. On top of all this, I was not offered any sort of discount for my trouble. I will look elsewhere next time. read more

I had them refinish the wood floors in 1/2 my duplex 2 years ago and I was quite happy with the work. First off, I would like to say that we are very happy with the work that was done. Our floors looks great. However, we were very upset with how we were charged for the work. After the sanding was done on our floors, we realized that we really liked the natural look of them and wanted them to just be sealed and not stained and sealed. We were very glad that the company was willing to aconitate this change. When talking to the person doing the work, we were told that the quarter rounds needed to be removed so that the sanding could get done around the edges. This was to removed the dark areas around the walls where the old stain was. He said that the was about the same amount of work as the staining would be so there should not have been that much of a cost difference since he would no longer be staining the floors. We called the office to discuss this change. They did not give me a price on this and did not make it sound like it would be that big of a change. So, they started working and then they sent us the price. The price was over $1,000 when the price for sanding ad staining the entire floors was originally $3,000. To me, this is a big increase in the cost! But the work had already started and we were pretty much stuck. When I asked the company about the additional cost, I was told that there is no cost difference between stain and no stain. If that amount of labor is negligible, than how is the labor for the removal and replacement of the quarter rounds that much? I feel that we got ripped off and there was not a lot we could do about it since the work was under way. I wish they would have been more up front with us about the costs before hand. Overall, they did great work, but would caution future customers to get all prices in writing from them. read more

I paid Denver Dustless $1400 to install paint-grade wood baseboard in 8 rooms. They began installing the paint-grade wood baseboard that I had specified to Donnie Hoffman who wrote up the estimate. But they ran out of material after 5 rooms. Then they switched to cheaper and less durable MDF (fiberboard) baseboard - without informing me - in the remaining 3 rooms. I discovered this variance myself and escalated the problem to "one of the owners" - Troy. We have used Denver Dustless twice now. The first time the process went fabulously. The office coordinator was friendly and helpful and our job ran smooth from the first day we called, until the day we finished. The second go around, a few months ago- was somewhat of a different picture. We experienced quite a lot of negativity from the representative of this company, Troy. He was negative, argumentative, and down right mean to his employees. The fellows we had working on our floors did a great job, and were friendly. My advice to them, is to find an employer who values you more. Troy was rude to them, he treated them disrespectfully, and talked badly about other employees of Denver Dustless, all the while laughing it off like it is his normal behavior. We will not be using DD again. As my husband and I were small business owners most of our lives, we realize that good employees are valuable and not simply replaceable pieces of trash you treat like dirt and throw out. Our money, is going to be going towards a business who we see treats their employees with respect. As long as Denver Dustless chooses to have someone like Troy, represent their company I will have nothing more to do with them. I hope more people who read this, if they have had a bad experience with this particular person, would speak up, because if he was my employee, I would want to know what kind of name he is giving my company that I have worked so hard to build. We are really disappointed because the workmanship was fabulous. But we just cannot recommend DD with good conscience, with what we firsthand experienced. Hopefully this is helpful to people who find value in others. J. read more
