I am reading other reviews here on Denver Dustless, and am curious why the "not so rave reviews" are not recommended, nor is there a button to rate if the review is helpful or not. I do not get it. Why shouldn't people get to see all reviews and the truth about a business. While Denver Dustless did end up doing a decent job for us, it was not without failing first. The floor techs were nice, and professional and did a great job, but during the course of the work completed, their supervisor came out and I heard him arguing with his workers telling them to apply the next coat of finish, even though the floors were still sticky and wet. To add to the issue, it was not warm out, so the floors were taking longer to dry. Apparently the supervisor, Troy wanted them to hurry this job up, because maybe it wasn't as big paying as the next- but he told them to apply the next coat regardless. The floor tech was very upset and apprehensive, because he was worried it would ruin the work he had done. So you can guess what happened. Eventually the floor dried, and it looked like hell. We had to call and have them come out again and resand the floor down, and start all over. What should have taken 3-4 days first off, ended up dragging into almost 2 weeks because they were forced to ruin the work they had completed up to that point. The workers apologized, but the supervisor made excuses. Very sad, because I would have used them again, but we do not want an arrogant supervisor, who obviously has less of a clue how to refinish a floor than his employees do, who is also argumentative and rude, managing our future projects. Hey Denver Dustless, you should care more about the little guy. read more

We just had our floors sanded and refinished a couple weeks ago. Color and finish look great! We were very pleased with the care and professionalism. We had a window of 4 days and they had it done in 3! read more

I live in an old house built in 1903 and was not sure how the floors would come out it I had them redone. I had three different companies come out and give me a quote for the work to be done. Denver Dustless gave me a quote that was in the middle of all the others and agreed to do the same amount of work if not more. The work they did was impeccable and my floors look beautiful. The workers were tidy and professional. When ever I called they got back to me right away. If I had a concern they reassured me that they would take care of it. I cannot say enough about my experience and how pleased I was to work with Denver Dustless read more

Our Denver Dustless experience was a 5+ experience from start to end. Our refinished floors are beautiful! Mike was a professional and alwaysprompt - he did an exceptional job refinishing our older kitchen flooring. Cleanup each day was exceptional. We will always use and recommend Denver Dustless. read more

I recommend Denver Dustless. They are professional, honest, fair and full of integrity. We had many challenges with our floor that were above and beyond the normal, and Denver Dustless came through with flying colors. Despite a busy schedule, Denver Dustless went out of their way to ensure a timely completion, despite many self-inflicted setbacks to our schedule. The bottom line is that our final job is superb, we couldn't be happier. You won't go wrong by using them! read more

We had existing hardwood floor refinished and new wood in dining room and up the stairs. We received excellent customer service from those working in our home. Our estimate was done in a timely and professional manner. The workmanship is excellent. We were able to come and go as we needed without worrying about open access to our home. JJ, Daniel, and Mike were hard workers. We never found them just hanging out taking their time. JJ even finished the job on a Sunday. They kept us informed at all times, texting us if they were running late. The one and only complaint I have is that they were supposed to begin on Monday, and it was delayed until Tuesday. They provided us with a name of a company that came in and taped up the rest of the house to minimize dust (yes, there is STILL dust - mostly with the new wood that was placed down). That company then came in and cleaned everything up. We are SO glad they recommended that service. Worth every single penny. read more

After Denver Dustless refinished my oak floors, the boards started to curl and de-laminate, a problem that did not exist before the refinish. When the floor was sanded and filled, no problems were noted by the finishers and by all estimates the floor was in good shape. Now they send me a bill for $200 to come replace the boards that were fine before they got to them. For a company that hangs their hat on their reputation, they aren't doing much to maintain it. DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK! read more

I am in love with my newly refinished hardwood floors! Denver Dustless was so easy to work with! Scheduling was a snap, they showed up on time and started working right away. Gustavo and his crew did a great job! I also received daily updates from the project manager, Troy. Thank you Denver Dustless - my 13 year old floors look brand new!! read more

Addison and his team, under Troy's foremanship, did an incredible job for us. Clearly great pride in what they do. Had a great attitude, ensured we were pleased, explained things in great detail, were patient as we worked through stain samples to get our custom color just as we wanted it, and just really paid attention to detail. Were so careful with our carpets, baseboards, and just really nice guys who worked hard and know what they are doing. Highly recommend. Awesome crew and we LOVE the outcome. Thanks Team Denver Dustless! read more

I absolutely do NOT recommend Denver Dustless to refinish your floors. I invited them to estimate the cost of resurface my wood floors throughout my home and they provided a fairly reasonable estimate, so I accepted. Two weeks later, after completely moving out of my house, they arrived to begin the work. Within 2 hours, I received a phone call stating that my floors were "unserviceable" and I would need to lay new wood flooring throughout! Of course, this would nearly double the price. I have since then had my floors serviced and they look beautiful! Adding insult to injury, the supervisor who called to deliver the bad news was rude, unapologetic, and finally threatening. They are, by far, the worst company with whom I've ever attempted to do business. read more

Tried to set up and estimate with them to come look at my floors. They tech was supposed to show up at 2pm so I got home at 145 pm and waited. Well 315pm hit so I called them. The lady that I had set everything up with answered and then called the tech he claimed to have been at my house from 2-215pm but I never had any knock on my door. I would have expected a phone call from them since they claimed that a tech was at my house but not able to get an answer at the door. The lady didn't offer to try and get him back out just blamed me for not being home at the time. If your a business that relies on customers being at home you should at least contact them when the tech claims to be at the house but no one is home. Very unprofessional and unwilling to work with me to figure out a new time. i will gladly take my business elsewhere to work with a company that respects their clients. read more

Denver Dustless was awesome. Did exactly what the said they would do and the floors came out awesome. Having a grad party this week and everyone is complementing us on our floors. They turned out awesome. read more

I had an awful experience with Denver dustless. My floors were refinished sloppily with the crew staining my walls with stain, spilling urethane out the front door on to the welcome mat and on to my porch. However, the messiness was not the worse part. The finish was uneven with large, palpable sandpaper grit left in the finish. Spots were missed, other areas had hair and dirt particles and there were visible sanding circles in all corners. I have never seen such shoddy work. When I asked the owner to make it right, he was condescending, rude, and told me I was too picky. He was defensive, disrepectful, and downright mean. He did eventually agree to fix it, the whole one saying it wasn't that bad. The next crew was more conscientious but it didn't make up for the whole experience I would not recommend Denver dustless to anyone for the mere fact that the owner and his customer service was horrible. read more

No, you did not do it right the first time, Denver Dustless!!! This company has horrible customer service and if you get unlucky and get the guys that have been overworked, do not count on a great job! This company bids out way too many jobs with too few employees. We were promised the job done in 4 days and it took 11 because we had to have our hardwood redone by this company (sanding and all) because of the horrible workmanship from the first two guys. Also, if you are going with a light color...you best rethink that as they will promise you that the wood will match up perfectly and it won't! We had to have additional hardwood torn out in order to hide the difference in color and texture of the wood. The grade and color was WAY OFF!!! After this disaster, they sent 2 guys out that actually did a great job the second time around and they were very friendly and respectful unlike everyone else that we experienced in this company, including the owner! I would suggest using a smaller company or individual that by word of mouth has proven workmanship and reliability. The end result of our floors is good, but the experience was absolutely terrible!!! read more

Good honest company and competitive pricing. We had some workmanship issues with one particular tech (who apparently does not work for them anymore) and Denver Dustless team always remained very professional and stood by their work. Ultimately Denver Dustless ended up paying to have our furniture moved out the second time and they redid the final coat. The sanding process is indeed quite dustless (not dust free, I would still cover up blinds and anything else that would be hard to clean later). Two other tidbits: 1) I did not like the mover they recommended (Hedinger) - very hard to schedule and the movers did not wrap/cover/protect any of the furniture. The second move by Bella was much better. 2) Ask what product they are using for clear coat. We had major problems with DuraSeal Satin which resulted in a splotchy top coat of varying sheen that proved impossible to fix. The second coat with DuraSeal Semi-Gloss was much better. Can't give 5 stars because we had to move and recoat the floors but the company completely stood by their work and the final result is pretty good. read more

Somewhat challenging experience, mostly communication related, with getting an estimate. I had an estimate scheduled at 9 a.m. At 9:40 nobody had showed or called to let me know what was going on. I called the office who tried to reach the estimator but he didn't answer so they said he was likely on his way. 10:40 still no show & no word from anyone so I called again. They said the estimator showed up but nobody answered the door. They said someone could come out the next day but I said that wouldn't work for my schedule since I'd planned to be home today. A few hours later, the estimator called to say he just rang the doorbell but nobody answered. Luckily this time he called before leaving so I was able to let him in. I'm very glad and appreciative that they were able to send someone out again. However, I'm still a little surprised the estimator didn't also try knocking (I have a very small house & a dog so would've heard a knock) or calling the first time. It also would've been nice if someone would've let me know that the estimator was planning to come back that day. Luckily I was still home. Hopefully their communication process is a bit smoother during the work process. read more

I must say I'm shocked to see such great reviews of Denver Dustless. We have worked with them twice now and will not use them again. The first time they had to come back 3 times to get the final finish coat right - and to their credit they did see it through but the time and effort that went into it was very disruptive. This time, 2 years later, we had them back to do a tiny job of patching in new wood in front of our fireplace and a job that should have taken 2 days ended up taking a week. Every day was a different crew and each one admitted that what the guy before him did was shoddy and each one left knowing there was a problem but figuring the next guy would fix it - they admitted that to me! Again, they did see it through till it was right, but the lack of pride in workmanship, poor communication between main office and workers and general low quality workmanship will keep me from ever using them again. They were the low cost bidder each time - but I guess it's true that you get what you pay for! read more
