For more than a year, we've wanted to replace the flooring on our first floor. We had dark hardwood floors and then carpet in the the living room area (that was destroyed by a foster puppy). Our vision was for a more open feel with consistent flooring throughout the entire floor (and lighter colored floors). Floors by Tomorrow to the rescue!! Initially, I used Yelp to start a new project, which is a great feature because you can just write up your project once and then send it to multiple contractors/businesses to get quotes. Of course in this case, they still need to come measure the space before they can provide a quote, but it's a convenient way to get things going! This whole process took half a year though... because, life. But we got a quote from one contractor via Yelp and then one through Lowe's. There were pros and cons to both (cost, amount of time/days it would take to finish, who would pick up the materials, etc.). I thought to revisit the Yelp contractors and reached back out to Floors by Tomorrow to get a quote. Right away, Dan got in touch with me and scheduled the initial consult to provide a quote. When he came, he was willing to work with our budget (and the two other quotes we had received). But what made him the best was that he literally scheduled for the project to complete the next day -- "Floors by Tomorrow" is right! We actually needed to schedule two days out because we needed a day to move all the furniture into the garage. Staff came right on time in the morning and finished by 6pm in the evening. They took off our baseboards and put them back on at the end, installed transitions, and even added plywood panels to the previously carpeted area (in order to keep the floor even). There was quite a bit of dust afterward (since they were cutting inside the house) but overall we could see they did their best to sweep and leave things as clean as they could. It really has transformed our house! And we will definitely reach back out when we are ready to replace the carpets on our second floor! read more

Recently moved from Northern Virginia to the Denver area. On top of the housing market the way it currently is, I was also buying a townhouse from over 1700 miles away, so the process was a little stressful. The house I bought had some very dated carpet and a small portion of hardwood and I knew I wanted to try and get new floors in before I moved. I reached out to a few businesses on Yelp, but Dan from Floors By Tomorrow responded almost immediately, was incredibly kind and answered all of my questions, and was able to coordinate accessing the house via a lockbox to get an accurate quote together for me very quickly. Once the quote was sent over, and I accepted, I was put in touch with his office manager, Bren, who is one of the nicest humans I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She was able to get everything set up, discuss different flooring options and colors, and offer me tips and tricks to adjusting to Colorado life! Their team was able to come in and demo all the old floors, and install beautiful new LVP throughout my townhouse in one day. They even demo'ed the carpet on the stairs for me, and removed an electric stair lift that had been in place for the previous owner. I was originally going to paint the stairs, but when I moved here, and saw the condition of the wood itself on the stairs, I decided that painting was not really an option. So I reached back out to Bren about getting carpet installed instead, and she immediately went over carpet swatches/colors/options/prices. We had a contractor from Home Depot cancel on us the morning of installation because they could not work with unlevel concrete subfloor (they were called Hom Solutions do not use them!). We called Floors By Tomorrow and Dan came over the same day, measured, and had a quote. The price was competitive with other contractors and he was able to get a crew of installers to our condo the next day. The crew leveled the concrete floor, installed vinyl plank flooring, and replaced our baseboards all in one day (1100 sq ft). The crew even mopped our floors when they were done. To install vinyl flooring in my basement, I had six companies all rated at least 4 stars on Yelp and Google+ come to the house and give me a quote. Floors by Tomorrow excelled at all levels. Their visit with measurements of the area to cover was very professional and very accurate. Using an app with the vinyl floors they install, I was able to see how my basement would look like with different types of floors. They had an excellent selection of vinyl planks that we were able to go and see at LL Flooring. Incredibly, their quote was the most affordable too. The flooring we picked was a bit back ordered but when it arrived, their team was able to install 1000 square feet of vinyl planks in one day. They also did the stairs going down to the basement. I initially undertook the "easy" project of putting down laminate flooring. I had done it before so I had a sense of "I know what I'm doing". Boy, was I wrong. The flooring I purchased had 5 different sizes. Yes, you read that right, five. After several months of failing to make this floor look presentabl, I gave up. Previous customers were right! they were done in 6 hours, long for the installer because of the complexity but when they were done. It was beautiful, stunning, fabulous and so much more. We needed new flooring in our condo because the carpet through the living room was just disgusting and we did not care for the flooring in the kitchen. Here are the issues that we experienced with this company: 1. They left our entire place covered in dust to the point where our black floor were not black. 2. They bent our brand new stove, put holes in our wall, we have bowing in the floor, and didn't demo the tile they were supposed to do or give us other options since we were promised it would be demo'd, and they left openings around our cabinets where we could see underneath our new flooring. 3. Having to wash every dish in our cabinets because they got dust on every single dish we own. 4. When David came out to see all the mess ups, he proceeded to tell us that all the dust on our new floor that was hard to clean up was OUR fault because we chose a high maintenance floor (which was black) and he also tried to pretend that he did not see anything wrong with our stove when the drawer was obviously bent outward, Taking no responsible for anything. 5. They told us to go out and buy the new tile ourselves and they will put it down in front of the fire place that they promised to do in the first place. 6. they schedule AGAIN a day to come out to fix the issues which they ended up not coming out. When my boyfriend calls them to see when they are coming out and David tells him they're finishing up with something else and then they will be out. Then 3 hours later we call again and David states he did not say that and that it will be another 3-4 hours before he will be able to come out. 7. Calling Dan to discuss the issues with David and how we don't like being blamed for the issues to only have Dan call us a liar and state that David would never do the things he has done and then blow it out of proportion and state that he does not fire his workers for simple mistakes when we did NOT ask for his job we only asked for the mistakes to be fixed and not given excuses. 8. When they do come out to fix the mistakes, they rush everything and miss fixing 2 of the mistakes as well as the workers that arrived with David to ignore you and not speak to you. 9. They put the new tile on top of the old tile in front of the fire place instead of demoing the old tile. 10. When discussing the bowing in the floor that they did not fix before they left, David gave an excuse that he would have to rip up all of the flooring to fix THEIR mistake and that he did not want to do that. 11. After they left they left MORE dust on everything as well as leaving black streaks down my white cabinets, left black gunk all over my countertops and all over my sink. 12. When the workers are working they will leave their trash in your place as well as personal items to which they drop by unannounced to pick up. These are the reasons I would not recommend this company. The company is more then welcome to respond to this giving us excuses and how we are wrong as you can see they have done previously to other customers. Use your best judgement. Just want to make clear the new carpet was installed on 4-27-19, Dan is a nice guy but I wouldn't be surprised if he was at some point a used car salesman, because he will tell you what you want to hear, but knowing that we still hired him, good price and I thought would be good quality. They did install very quickly and other then me having to ask his crew to sweep up and vacuum again, due to not so good job of vacuuming the first time, they seemed to due a good job. Wait until opening the floor vents on both floors of the house to adjust air flow, thats when I saw his crew had discarded the padding and carpet fibers into the vents, totally disrespectful. Also when you walk on carpet in numerous different places you can feel small but noticeable chunks of materials under the carpet. But thats not the end, there are also some sharp little pieces underneath that I can only assume are staples. And to top it off you can see where the carpet is noticeably lifting in places, so it doesn't look flat anymore in spots. There is a spot on bottom of stairs where the carpet even after vacuuming looks extremely worn, after 1 1/2 years old really? (There's two of us), we always take off our shoes, so always barefoot or socks only. I feel that his crew looking back had zero respect for our home. I overlooked all these things until the carpet started lifting on the stairs (very noticeable) and in heavy traffic areas not as noticeable but makes me wonder what it will look like in a couple of years.I have included pictures to illustrate my point, very disappointed and wouldn't recommend Floors By Tomorrow to anyone. read more

Rupert and the Floors by Tomorrow guys did an OUTSTANDING job. I own property around town and I'm constantly on the look out for people / companies that can do quality work at a fair price. I was selling one of my properties and I has JUST finished remodeling when the water line to the refrigerator got a leak. I needed to get the hardwood floors refinished ASAP. I shopped around and I'll be honest I liked Rupert, but his team was booked. So I decided to go with another flooring guy. After about 3 weeks of waiting for the 1st to guy to come and do the work I called Rupert back. By this time the house was already under contact and if I couldn't get the floors done I would have lost the sale. We were in a bad situation with our bedroom floor: too uneven for laminate with no one willing to fix it and three kids living out of suitcases until the floor got in. I thought I had somebody to do a carpet install to finish it, but was unable to reach them to confirm they actually showed up to do the job. Dan was willing to drive by on a Sunday to confirm the work was being done, and if not Dan would have sprung into action the very next morning and completed the carpet install for me at a very fair price!
