Feeling sadistic and wanted to waste more of my time following up on the non-existent customer service from your apparently horribly run company. Just to get an initial estimate for a project, I've contacted you repeatedly via email and voicemail, which weirdly goes directly to your owner's personal phone, but never with a response. To which I've clearly outlined what it is we need done in terms of refinishing our kitchen and bathroom tile, but to no avail. I've given approximate measurement of said space, thinking maybe our project is too small for your company, asking that you please let us know either way. Again, nothing. I work in the customer service industry, which, granted, isn't technically what you are, and I am willing to give a long leash to companies for being too busy and not GETTING this part of the whole communication process...to a point. But at this point you just seem like you don't care about the money or are too lazy or anti-social to give a simple yes/no response. Either way, you didn't get our money and we ended up going with another option. And that option is what I hope more do which is learning how to DIY. YouTube is very helpful and I encourage those with the time and means to learn basic stone refinishing themselves. It's relatively easy, but time consuming, and I would have always rather paid more to have it done by one of their "professionals." But here we are... Anyway, gotta love a learning experience you would've actually paid for. read more

I received 3 estimates to repair my damaged new marble vanity counter top. Stone Restoration Works responded immediately. They were the only company to look at the job before providing an estimate. Josh was very professional and responsive. They were the best price also. They squeezed me into their schedule immediately. Jorge, the technician was so nice and professional. Marble countertops are a B*TCH to maintain. Putting that out there for anyone who's either looking to buy a new home or renovate their kitchen. It looks so pretty, but damages easily. Since no one warned me about this, I had to learn the hard way -- water stains galore, mixed with a few stray indentations of lemon wedges were ALL over the countertops in our kitchen. It wasn't totally noticeable to the naked eye, but upon closer inspection, kind of an eyesore. Thankfully, Stone Restoration Works responds to Request a Quote on Yelp. They specialize in just the very thing needed: refinishing marble countertops. A sales representative came by and provided an estimate, and within 3 weeks, someone came over to buff out the imperfections + put a new coat of sealant on the counters as to avoid more damage. It took about 6 hours on a Saturday, well worth the time/effort. The project cost about $800 and our refinished marble surfaces are so shiny! Not sure how long that will last, however, it was much more affordable to do this vs. have new counters made. When that does happen (because you can only refinish so many times), I will be getting quartz or wood. read more

There aren't enough starts listed to rate the quality of service and professionalism we received from these folks. The quick response to our disaster of a newly installed marble floor was amazing. The crew worked for 2.5 days to refinish our 900 sq ft of flooring - bringing back the beauty and shine that we had hoped for when we first purchased the marble tiles. Once the initial work was completed, they returned for "touch ups" at their suggestion. All in all working with Josh and his crew was a delight. Josh and his team honed our travertine and restored it to the original finish. There were some water marks which they professionally removed and sealed the travertine. Additionally, he repaired a broken travertine tile and replaced another broken tile. He was able to match the color and set the tile. Josh brought several samples to color match. This team has a lot of experience and are timely, courteous and extremely skilled. They also repaired grout and caulking. Overall an excellent experience and I highly recommend this company. Wow! what a great experience. Josh came out and gave me a very competitive bid on cleaning and polishing my dull master floor marble and shower. A few days later, while I was still contemplating the job he followed up and was able to fit me in that very same day. Within an hour Jose and Jose showed up, listened to my concerns, explained their process and gave me an estimate of the time it would take. They were courteous, respectful of my home and did a fantastic job. My marble now shines like glass, the once dirty grout now matches the tile and the shower has had a complete makeover. They finished on time, gave me clear instructions on ways to maintain it so that the shine would last, and cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't be happier and would recommend these guys to anyone. Josh promptly came out to review a refinishing of a marble counter-top and some technical work that was a difficult (I'm not an expert but let me put it this way, it was something other companies didn't seem excited to tackle or afraid to tackle) job. Josh explained in detail the work he would do, provided a detailed estimate and answered all my questions. He was also clear in setting the right expectations for time frame and finished project. SRW did a fantastic job on our travertine tile!! Josh gave me the plan for the job because it was a pretty large area (3500sq). The crew stayed on time, on task, no surprises. Everyone was professional and respectful. The price of the job was VERY fair. Other franchises were more than double the cost and I am not sure what more they could have done. I had my bathroom marble cleaned and polished about 6 years ago. It was looking dull and stained so I called Stone Restoration Works for an estimate. The quote was about the same as I paid 6 years ago. So for the same price, Stone restoration did a better job than the previous contractor. My Marble looked as if it were factory new. It had its shine agn and all of the stains were gone. They also cleaned up very well. We really did not want a big mess to deal with. Josh also repaired two cracks in my Granite counter tops. The cracks developed in a weak area near the lip of the stove top. One of the cracks you can still see if you know where to look, but the other is completely gone. When you run your hand over the cracks you can't feel either of them at all. The best part is, with the repair completed, I wont have to worry about the cracks getting bigger and having to replace the granite. read more

I'm not one to write reviews, but Stone Restoration Works did such a good job on my kitchen counters that I wanted to give them some public recognition for a job well done. I have a marble counter that had stains, scratches and an uneven surface. The stone ended up being trickier to work with than anticipated, but Josh and Jose worked on it until it looked amazing. This required extra work on their part, but they were only concerned with doing the job well. In addition to making the marble look shiny and new, they were courteous and punctual. I will use Stone Restoration works again in the future and would recommend them highly. read more

We used Stone Restoration Works 2 years ago, and they did an excellent job of steam cleaning and re-caulking the base perimeter of our stand-up marble shower for $240.00. We just had Josh come out couple of days ago, I think he's a new owner, and he wanted over $800.00 to do the exact same job. Needless to say, we will take our business elsewhere. Just another Millenial trying to make a quick buck. You might want to ccnsider getting at least one more quote before using them. Very sad. read more
