Initially, I was impressed with Grout Medic's quick response and fair pricing. We had just moved into our home, and the shower was in need of serious attention as the grout was cracked, and water had begun dripping into the basement. They seemed very professional and replaced a few tiles, making the shower look as good as new after the initial job. Had this been the end of the story this would be a 5 star review. However, over the following months, the grout has repeatedly come up, requiring multiple repairs. Grout Medic has come out three times to fix the recurring issues, but their response time for warranty work has been slow, which has been frustrating. Most recently, the grout has come up again for the fourth time within weeks of the most recent repair, and it took a few days to get a response we had a no show and then a reschedule to get the repair complete. Each time we have asked them to do whatever is necessary to prevent this from happening. Overall, while their initial work looked great, the durability of the re-grouting has been disappointing, and We are very hopeful, this repair looks much better and fingers crossed it does the job. read more

We had another leak in our shower, and because of the good reviews about Grout Medic, we called them. The owner, Jesus, came out the next day to give us an estimate. He was very thorough and told us what services we needed, matched our grout exactly, and quoted us a price. It seemed high but for the first time we hadn't gotten any other estimates, so we weren't sure. I also requested that they patch some grout in the granite by the front door. The next morning Henry showed up promptly at 9. We showed him the shower area and asked if he had watched the video of the project that Jesus had made. We weren't sure about Henry's answer and thought there might be a language barrier but we let him get started. He dug out all the old caulk and a lot of the grout- as well as grout at the base around the outside of the shower -which didn't make sense to me. While doing that, Henry somehow broke the corner off one tile (See photo). He did manage to secure it back down, but it's not level. It's not too noticeable unless you know where to look. Henry then steam cleaned the inside of the shower and re-grouted and caulked. At one point we called Jesus and put him on speaker to give Henry more instructions. Hopefully everything was sealed against future leaks. Henry worked very hard for almost 5 hours and never took a break. He cleaned up everything nicely and went to the front door area. He worked on that for over a half hour and it looks great. After drying for a couple of days we used the shower again and it didn't leak. I'm happy with the job they did - just not sure it should have been over $200/hour. But I can tell they take pride in their work. read more
