My front-entry tiles look brand new (but they're not); he replaced the existing grout with a new product that has it looking bright and clean. See for yourself what a sterling job he did on my new bathroom floor tiles (see photo). What you can't see is the fact that he replaced the silicone along the walls and did baseboard repairs. This takes a lot of the pressure off when designing and ordering. I met Juan through Carpet Exchange. We were replacing the carpeting and tile (vinyl and ceramic) on…read moreour entire first floor with Cortex. The saleswoman spoke highly of Juan and we enlisted him as part of the flooring project. Juan came out to measure and then we got a final price from Carpet Exchange. We scheduled the work and Juan came out with a crew. They removed the carpeting, then any staples or nails that were sticking up. They removed all the baseboards for replacement after laying the flooring. They walked the entire floor looking for squeaks in the subfloor and fixed the ones they found. Then they sanded the subfloor to make sure it was perfectly flat. They started around 9am, took a lunch break, and were still able to finish the same day. I like that the guys were nice, hardworking, and each seemed like a craftsman. They were very careful with each piece of flooring they laid to ensure it looked perfect. Then they put the baseboards back, caulked them and returned the furniture to where it was. They also put felt pads under the feet of the furniture (I bought packs of them). Their fine work totally transformed the look of our home. We've lived with the flooring now for 2 weeks and have found nothing that makes us feel they cut any corners or compromised quality. We're so glad we listened to Carpet Exchange and hired Juan. We are considering using him again when we redo the floor tile in our bathrooms.

Work that was promised to be completed in several weeks took months and still was not finished. Work that was done was shoddy and sub par. All in all, we paid this company over $17,000 to do the work. Fearing the quality of the work would devalue our home, we paid another contractor to rip it out and do it the right way. They left the job site a mess, used my pool table as a work bench, and ruined almost every piece of furniture in my basement with paint overspray. Do not recommend at all.

The quartz and granite countertops are beautiful. My kitchen looks amazing. Not only that, Eduart was able to pull it off in 3 weeks, much sooner than we'd anticipated.
