The gal (a project manager) whom I spoke with was defensive when I inquired about how the new ownership process worked for granite countertops worked (measurements, choosing materials, pricing structure, etc). Very odd response. She talked very fast, spewing out a lot of detailed information but didn't really listen to or answer the questions I was asking. She seemed to have a need to prove herself. From what she said, I got the impression they prefer to work with designers not individuals. She was pretty arrogant. I could go on, but won't. At the end of the day, I just have to say I definitely would NOT recommend this company. New ownership bought a rock solid company and kept their name, but this is now a crumbling stone. Save yourself frustration and being treated like you are inferior. Look elsewhere for a pleasant experience for your project. It came out to around $12K, which is about half what it would have cost to replace all the kitchen cabinets (they were in very bad shape). It took a long time for them to get the custom ordered parts but we were told in advance that this would be the case. It took around 7 months waiting for the materials, but we were aware of the timeframe in advance and agreed to wait. Once the parts arrived, the team of installers took 3 days to get everything done, and it looks amazing. They were professional and courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. I had another piece I kind of ruined already so I called the granite guys to see if they could cut the counter top and cut the sink hole for me as well as the 7 inch backsplash. They did a great job in a short amount of time at a great price. It all looks fabulous now installed. I do recommend these guys if you need their services and some work done on your own home. They were supposed to install a new sink in the new counter they installed-my contractor called and…read moresaid it was not put in correctly- it took many calls and arguing to get H&H to come and look at it - they told my GC it was a used sink. I bought two new Kohler sink kits which came with faucet/cutting board/sink grates several months ago in anticipation of redoing rental properties. I had them delivered to my home. The lady at H&H kept saying the sink was used because the mailing label was not the job site. She would not understand that they were brand new out of the box Kohler sinks that were delivered to my home not the rental house. Kept saying the sink was used when it was tucked right into the original Kohler delivery box and was brand new. Instead of taking the paper diagram from the box she took the whole box from the jobsite to her shop where who knows what happened to the sink. Also the Kohler faucet contained in the box was missing. She became all juvenile like a junior high girl making accusations to me about the faucet. I had enough of her and her company so it cost me another $150 to get another faucet. She said she felt sorry for me and was going to refund me some small amount and I said forget it I do not want anything from you other than please do not contact me again with all her childish prattle. I would never use this company again - what a disaster over a stupid sink that was brand new out of the box Kohler - they charged me to install the faucet! That they lost!
