We recently had a quartz top cut and installed for our primary bathroom. The slab is over 10 feet in one solid piece and really upgraded the entire look of the bathroom. We were just sorry for the guys that had to carry all that weight up to the second floor for the install! Overall it was a great job from start to finish. This company is under new ownership since I happily used them approximately 5 years ago for multiple residential counter top installations. I called this morning to get information for a friend who is now redoing the master bathroom and kitchen. The gal (a project manager) whom I spoke with was defensive when I inquired about how the new ownership process worked for granite countertops worked (measurements, choosing materials, pricing structure, etc). Very odd response. She talked very fast, spewing out a lot of detailed information but didn't really listen to or answer the questions I was asking. She seemed to have a need to prove herself. From what she said, I got the impression they prefer to work with designers not individuals. She was pretty arrogant. I could go on, but won't. At the end of the day, I just have to say I definitely would NOT recommend this company. New ownership bought a rock solid company and kept their name, but this is now a crumbling stone. Save yourself frustration and being treated like you are inferior. Look elsewhere for a pleasant experience for your project. I wish I could find out where Drake went, who managed my project years ago. read more

The name says it all. I love going to a place that will be honest about their materials, process, cost and the overall installation steps. The people that I worked with were really knowledgeable, friendly and honest. They were experts in explaining the different types of stone and what would fit best in our place. Since this is a rental unit, they recommended quartz b/c it is non-porous and to use the edging that would not chip easily. When the measurement guy came it, he was fast and detailed at the same time. Finally when it came to the installation, the guys were quick and did an amazing job. My contractor was there to verify and confirmed that their work was excellent. Will def use them again in the future! read more

When we first walked into Rock Solid they were quick, upfront, no gimmicks and had the exact slab we wanted. Zach did an amazing job helping us before we even new the exact measurements of our new rental houses kitchen! He got out a pen and paper and made sure he understood all of our needs. I wish I could agree with the high rating that this company currently has. Picking out a slab and getting the initial appointment was easy-peasy. After about 30-45 minutes at the shop, we were scheduled to have someone come out to take measurements for the template for the countertop the following week. The initial appointment was rescheduled, then the person coming to do the measurements did not show up for the second appointment until 6 pm, several hours after the scheduled window. After he finished the measurements, I was told I would receive a call from the company to discuss and schedule the installation. I did not receive that call and decided to follow up about two weeks later. I was told it would be a bit longer before the countertop was ready. Understood and then we got our installation schedule a week or so later. They then missed 3 appointments for installation. When they did show up, we found out that our new sinks would not be able to fit unless we cut into the existing drawers. Since our old countertops had already been removed, we did not feel like we had much of a choice. So now we do not have any functional drawers in our bathroom. Also several chips in the paint around the sink which I suppose is minor compared to the next point. The installers left the drains unconnected and we were told we needed a plumber to attach our faucets. We were never told this in advance (not that it would have mattered as they missed the previous three arrival windows and there is no way we could have gotten a plumber here with all the delays and uncertainty) I was told I would receive a call from someone to discuss the drawer issue - guess what? I did not receive that call either. It has not been several business days since that promise was made. Since the initial call to discuss this, the facade of one of our non-functioning drawers is now coming undone. Overall the work performed is FINE. The countertops look FINE, but the customer service is beyond subpar and I would never in good conscience recommend this company to anyone. In fact, if you are considering this place, I hope you will reconsider after reading this. Very disappointed in our results. read more

Rock Solid in Littleton, CO (720-344 7625) was a pleasure to work with for our new granite kitchen counters. Jen and Sophia worked with us flawlessly. Jen did our layout and whereas other companies told us that it would take two slabs to do our project, Jen laid it out with only one slab. This even included the back splash. The use of only one slab saved us quite a bit of money. Scheduling the installation was so easy. From the time we gave Rock Solid the okay until installation was less than two weeks and the installation by Jose and Jose was done in less than half a day. Rock Solid did not forget us after the sale either. We were called back after installation to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction and they even make us a couple of granite cutting boards from some of the excess material. Rock Solid was hired by our GC to install quartz counters in our kitchen and master bath. They cut the kitchen island slab wrong and we have 11/2 inch by 1/4 inch gaps on either side of the stove, which they attempted to fix by putting epoxy in the gaps--it looks awful! They also got glue all over the counters that removed the finish, also looks awful! Rock Solid said the counter would have to go through Ceasarstone's warranty process (6 months ago). Ceasarstone has confirmed that they will provide the replacement quartz but Rock Solid is refusing to install the counters. Rock Solid's work was terrible and they are extremely unprofessional. read more

I originally posted a review shortly after our granite was installed in August 2019. The owner threatened me with legal action and posted my address online in response to the review and I was forced to remove it and move on. We initially had an issue with Zach the owner due to the island being out of square but the countertop not templated to fit it correctly and instead made square. That review was negative due to how that situation was handled by the owner - we were met with threats on the spot that he would take all the countertops back or we had to pay and suck it up, which we did. We have since nearly finished our kitchen renovation and found further issues with almost every piece of stone installed (see pictures on google reviews if interested). The two pieces around the range - one is 0.5" deeper than the other and sticks out extra and it is impossible to make the stove flush. We missed this on install because we were worried about the island. The piece in the bathroom has a 1.25" overhang instead of 0.75" overhang and looks off from the corner (same idea as the island). The island overhang is twice what it should be on one corner. So - I may get sued for this review but this is not what almost $10k of granite should look like in a $60k kitchen renovation. read more

I don't normally write reviews but thought I should recommend Rock Solid Custom Granite if you're looking to start the counter project soon ... We just had our kitchen counters done from them and it went great ! We started this process two months ago trying to pick a fabricator and go to different stone suppliers ...it's a process and education! We narrowed it down to them as some companies made me feel pressured , some made me feel like they could care less and rarely would get back to me. Rock solid return my phone calls and emails quickly , answered my 4 million questions about the whole process ( I'm that person ‍) and didn't nickle and dime me at the final amount . Every one from the owner to the receptionist, template guy and the two guys that installed yesterday were professional and genuinely nice . And lastly I love my granite counters ! I could not be happier with the amazing work the guys at Rock Solid did for me. Such friendly service while very professional. They always returned my calls and emails in a timely manner which is really hard to find in a company these days. They left my kitchen clean when they were done. My granite seems seamless and looks so beautiful with my new cabinets. Did i mention that my whole kitchen got designed for me. It was the most stress free renovation I've ever done. These guys did a fantastic job installing and laying out our new quartzite countertops. I looked at a few different places for quartzite and ended up sourcing the material from them and having them install it as well. They were considerably more cost effective than all of the other places we looked at and the quality of work was phenomenal, especially given the fact that we couldn't go in person due to the pandemic to pick how we wanted the layout done. They communicated with us really well virtually and the install went seamlessly. Our contractor (and my husband and I) were also extremely impressed with how well they joined the seams. You truly cannot see them and I would say this is the best countertop install company I have worked with (we have done other remodels in the past). I would highly recommend this company! read more

Just had Rock Solid do a second install at my house. The first install of the kitchen counters was fantastic so I entrusted them again to install a counter top on my island (6 months later). Their service is great and they have been extremely responsive and helpful throughout. We decided to pick out a table to turn into an island rather than build a traditional island with cabinets. We sent pictures of tables as we made selections and Zach provided us with useful feedback on structure and what would and would not work. They installed on time and the crew was very polite. We hired Rock Solid at the recommendation of our neighbors. Good initial impression but the after-install customer service was not awesome. We had a few issues and in trying to be friendly with the owner and get them resolved, he quickly turned the issue around on us. We eventually got some resolution but not without feeling like it was a total imposition and that we were idiots. Also, one of our slabs in our kitchen was highly polished while the other two were sort of dull. When asked, he said "When I have someone in the area I can send them your way to take care of it." Worst of the worst. Contracted them to do a kitchen for a not-for-profit. They called day before the scheduled install to say it wasn't going to happen on time, claimed installer got hurt but they didn't have the kitchen done to install. Scheduled it for a week later but they called Thurs to say they could do it then. Was supposed to happen around 10, by 12:30 they still weren't there(they were finishing up the fabrication). Pissy little installer showed up and got his nose out of joint when I started looking at the seams. Terrible color match right at the sink of all places. They installed part of it but were short a 48" x 26" piece for the back bank of cabinets. They never returned with that piece despite repeated attempts to contact. I held half their money so I had enough to get the kitchen finished but they delayed the completion by at least a month. Will never use them again and will tell everyone I know what a joke this shop is. The two snarky queen-bees that run that office should be fired. They're in way over their heads. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The entire process from estimate to completion was fantastic. The pricing was right in the ballpark if not less than the the other estimates I received. They were extremely responsive before, during, and after the process. They gave specific preparation instructions which helped of what to expect. The template gentleman, Don, is a true artist. My wife and I did not make it easy for them as it took us almost 6 4 months to pull the trigger and pick a stone. We did have one issue that was due an error from the distributor but Rock Solid jumped on getting it taken care of at their cost right away. Rock Solid fabricated and installed our quartz countertops for our new large kitchen island and replaced our countertop on existing cabinets in our kitchen. They also fabricated and installed the full height backsplash in our kitchen with the same quartz. They did an amazing job! They also perfectly added a quartz windowsill and wrap around the window above our sink which looked like it would be a challenging job. The finished work is beautiful. Zach had the best quote of 4 quotes I obtained. They also included a high quality stainless sink. They were professional, prompt and did the work on time and efficiently. Several months after install we decided to call them on a slight lift at a seam and they came out immediately and fixed the seam to our complete satisfaction. TL;DR: If you want new counter tops, you need to use Rock Solid. Period. Every person we worked with was fantastic at their job on top of being friendly and helpful. The finished product is absolutely amazing. Could not have hoped for a better experience or end result. Prices are great, as well, and they don't nickle and dime you with extra fees. Can't say enough good things about this place and the people. Zach had our initial quote within a few hours of submitting a request online. He always returned email questions within minutes. Kate is borderline magical--she listened to comments my husband and I made about the options in their yard, asked a question or two, and made a recommendation on a particular granite. After looking at easily over a hundred options at several places, we ended up going with her suggestion and are so in love with the stone. She was also super patient and helpful with our plethora of questions. Don is a master of the template. If there's millimeter between the wall and the edge of our passthrough, I'd be shocked. Juan and Tony did our install and constantly impressed us. They had our old bathroom counters out within 10 min max. We had two giant mirrors that bordered the old counters we didn't expect to survive the demo--but the guys were able to get the counters out without so much as a scratch to the mirrors! They cleaned up as they went, and offered suggestions on maintenance going forward. Not to mention, the installed product is obscenely gorgeous.
