The most frustrating experience with any company I have experienced. Period. First Ardash, the manager and only representative in the office, makes promises which are not able to be executed in the field. The installation team themselves agreed that there is a disconnect in this regard. No doubt transparency up front is woefully lacking. The workmanship on our tile backsplash was incredibly bad, and the mess left behind in our home was severe, and quite frankly disrespectful. Still, we are trying to get our new carpets and floors cleaned. Apparently one random blanket on the floor was sufficient to enough to prevent a mess. Paint damage occurred to areas they were not even working on, and cracks appeared on our new cabinets. Despite our continued communication with Ardash regarding multiple issues, we would have expected a visit by the owner George, but that did not happen either. Yes, we had phone conversations with him, but surely, he should have made the effort to come to our home? His position throughout the process was defensive and not apologetic at all. They have been posted onto our community Facebook group as a company to avoid (660 homes). Punish these guys with your pocketbook, after all what more can one do? We recently hired Marble Granite Direct to install new countertops for us. The slab (which came from Granite Imports) looks beautiful. However, the damage/repairs left behind after the install exceeded what we felt was necessary and/or acceptable: large holes in the walls, cracked cabinet, chunk out of the pantry door, metal hardware from the sink left scattered in the front yard (which would have destroyed the lawn mower if we hadn't found it all). read more

Working on a major kitchen remodel and chose Marble granite direct for our new countertops. Ardash was our salesman and project coordinator, he gave us a list of granite wholesalers where we could go to see full slabs of granite instead of just samples. We chose a granite that was perfect for us, then Ardash gave us a cost estimate and timeline. He called in advance of anything happening and beat his timeline by several days I believe Ardash to be an honest man of integrity and would recommend him to friends and family. The granite they installed looks beautiful, but there were some issues along the way. I really liked how we were given estimates on many different slabs which was very helpful, and the price was fair. We were told that they would hook everything back up, turns out everything only meant the sink, not electrical or the gas stove. The handyman (not a plumber like they called him) was only able to hook up the sink. The demo people got a little carried away and broke some of the wires on the outlet and dented the walls. We had to hire an electrician to fix things. We had to hire a plumber to hook up the gas stove. The installers did a good job overall but the got a little carried away with caulk and it was on the walls where it shouldn't be. read more

I walked in to MGD one day just to look at the wide variety of stones in their showroom. The show room was well stocked with a great selection of natural and synthetic stones for kitchen and bathroom. The sales person, Ardash, was friendly, patient and helpful with all kinds of design ideas to update my "old kitchen". We designed a beautiful quartz kitchen with a sunken stainless steel sink and pull down faucet. I received the quote within 24 hours and an estimate to install in about 2-3 weeks. I had a hard time finding a company that deals granite countertops as well as tile backsplash. I was frustrated but drove past Marble Granite Direct and thought I would stop in. Ardash was helpful and answered all my questions. While they don't carry the tile, they recommended numerous tile showrooms they buy from and then coordinate the demolition and instillation. We decided on a quartz that was really affordable and Ardash ordered the backsplash tile from Daltile. The work was done quickly and looks great! Fernando and Phil were expert installers, and worked hard to bring the quartz up two sets of stairs without any damage to anything, and then were clean and quick with installation. We went with this neighborhood shop for our last puzzle piece in the renovations- kitchen countertops ONLY because they had the shortest wait(they promised 2-3wks!). They had a mediocre selection of materials, but we found the material we were looking for specifically. This company is extremely unorganized! It took several days, and numerous visits to the store to even get the contract going. The employees, while very friendly, were not very efficient. Between the two staff members we dealt with directly, there seemed to be a lot of miscommunication, which resulted in numerous emails, calls, confirmations & re-confirmations... Meanwhile the price of the initial estimate kept rising! We finally just drove over, again, to sign the paperwork and get our dates on the books(install of the countertops supposedly follows a contract signing date, even more the reason we resented the endless back-and-fourth!). They disregarded the promised dates the minute we signed their contract, claiming they don't make any promises. Whaaat!? In retrospect, we should have just walked away after the first handful of bad impressions. FYI: It took three times the promised/estimated time frame to even get the templating. All the folks we worked with -- Ardash at the office, Carlos & installation crew, and Michael & plumbing crew -- were great to work with. They responded in a timely manner and did wonderful work removing our old,stained sink (without any damage to the multi-level granite topped island), prepping the granite counter-top for the new, larger stainless sink we purchased from them, installing the new sink and re-plumbing it with existing faucet/disposal. Wow. Just wow. This place was in and out and my countertops look so amazing! They had great customer service and were so great with prices and helping me find out hat would work best for my family. When I went in to pick out my style of counter I gave them a little background. They found something under budget and it works great with my family. They have some really nice counters and a variety of choices. They help you pick the perfect counter down to the smallest detail. They really did impress me. Our kitchen and bathrooms look great and I would easily refer them to anyone looking to get their counter done. When they installed it, they tried to pull one over on us and did not even give us close to what we paid for. And they just hoped we wouldn't notice... They said they'd find us a new piece, never heard back. We called again, they said we could come look at pieces. We went, picked one out, got a call later that that piece was unavailable.... seriously??? Now figuring out what to do. We have been saving money to do our kitchen for a very long and time and we chose to go with Marble Granite Direct instead of a big store like Home Depot or Lowe's because we thought we would get better service. Although the installers we friendly and eventually finished the work, we encountered many problems such as them not showing up on the day planned or being late, leaving a dent in our brand new door, not cleaning up (we spent hours vacuuming, wiping and using a razor to get excess caulk out of our cabinets and off our window), and so on. When I tried to call the owner George to voice my concerns, he actually yelled at me almost the entire time, even telling me "This stuff happens sometimes" about the dent in the door. I couldn't believe that he would talk like that to a customer who is spending their hard earned money with his company. We have had almost every part of our house remodeled and we have never had service like this so it was a big disappointment. I understand sometimes things just happen and I would never leave a bad Yelp review if the owner showed even a little sympathy but sadly this was not the case. read more

I would not use Marble Granite Direct again. It started with the poor scheduling of when we would get the templating done. We originally told it would be in two weeks. Leading up to them doing the templating it was continually "there are other people in front of you." At one point I was told we were next on the list. One week later, there were a couple of others in front of us. We were told the templating would only take about 15 minutes. Now that I know what they do and for a good job to be done it probably should be more like 2 hours. When they finally came out to install them, there were more issues. The counters were not quite level so they had about a half inch gap where they shimmed the countertop at the end of the peninsula. On top of that, they put a small hole into the cabinet. I had to get those things fixed. Now I am replacing my stove and started measuring the countertops on each side. There is a difference of half an inch. The slide in range is really going to show that the templating was done poorly and the manufacturing of the countertops were done poorly. Would I go back. You couldn't pay me to use Marble Granite Direct again. read more

Let me start by saying the initial sales meeting went OK. They matched the upfront price of a competitor and made glowing promises about the installation being the factor that would put them over the top. Once you write the check, go pick out your slabs, then schedule the appointment their interest in you wanes. I had to make NUMEROUS calls and leave messages about when measurements and installation could occur after promises of returned calls. Carlos did meet with us at Dal-Tile to look at potential layouts based on our estimations for kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Because the remodel included 2 bathrooms upstairs first and kitchen after we had to pay an additional trip charge because they can't measure until cabinets are in, fine, but to pay $100 seems excessive for a drive by & tape measure pull. Install went off without a hitch until we tried to install our stove and the opening wasn't big enough. Carlos had to come back and shave off enough counter to let a stove fit. After he left my wife called Marble Granite Direct to inquire when the rest of our unused 2nd slab would be returned to us. She was told 'It was turned into dust.' I have since called and left messages to please return a call to my wife or I (left 4 contact numbers) and have not heard back to date. I doubt we ever will because I am guessing they sold my remaining slab to someone else and can't give it to us. I really don't have any other explanation as to where it is because they will not return our calls. Choose another place to do business with unless you like to do all of your own legwork and follow-up and still pay them. read more

I would strongly not recommend this company. The manager Carole is a little too old to handle all that this company has going on...I don't think she knows if she's coming or going. Once you sign a contract you will never oh maybe get your measurement when they decide to get to it. I was told your next in line... For weeks when they finally do you have to wait another 2 weeks for install. While the installation wasn't too bad there were several issues on the stone I wanted to address. But the owner George Spiska never would return my calls come to find out he doesn't even resident in this state he's in Florida if I knew that I would never done business with this company. read more

CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!!!! I compare this company to frontier airlines....they nickle and dime you for everything. Sure the granite slab might come back cheaper, but by the time you have to pay for everything else that comes with it...i.e. cook top removal, re-installation, faucet removal, installation, you end up spending WAY more money then anticipated. George the owner is THE WORST with customer service and doesn't care if you as a customer are completely unhappy with the work. CAUTION!!!! If you are going from tile granite to slab that you aren't trading say 4 inches of back splash with 4 inches of back splash...you must add at least 2 inches of back splash extra with slab to cover up existing area. Information that would have been great to have before the fact. Now we are stuck with shoty work and a mediocre kitchen with an above back splash that looks like something a toddler would have completed. Sure the granite installation itself is fine, but the headache, massive extra cost with other items (we aren't handy people), and the complete disrespect and disregard George has towards customers is Appalling. Take your business elsewhere....there are other local small businesses I'm sure that would be happy to treat you like a customer should be treated. read more
