I ALMOST did business with these people but they left a ladder at my house without ever coming back to pick it up and I called the guy right away as soon as he left my house and then they kept sending me invoice emails and we were waiting on them for a long time to come collect their estimate check payment and get their ladder... they sent a lady named Amy and when she came to collect she pulled up and parked on our sidewalk and she was talking on the phone and just said thanks- real short and took the ladder from me and the check and it just was ugly and unprofessional behavior from her. I had to ask these people to physically come out because the first 2 estimates they wrote out were over insurance pictures. Those estimates were free but when I asked if they could ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY come see the windows for themselves instead of being lazy we got charged $115 fee. I'm so happy I decided not to do business with these people. Saved me a headache just by the attitude and actions. 0/10 will never look back or recommend. read more

Dale made numerous small repairs on our new staircase including some splintered wood from drilling holes for new spindles and a hole that was mistakenly drilled into our flooring for a spindle that was then just left plugged. Dale repaired the damaged areas to where you would never know that any damages had ever been done. He was very professional and took his time to make sure the job was done perfectly. read more

This company hides all the flaws for D.R. Horton when you buy a new house.They fixed tons of problems with our stained woodwork, laminate Counter, etc..... Now at the 10 year mark in our same home all the products they used to hide these flaws is now showing all the damages that were hid when we bought the house brand new. Repairs unique only gives you a 1 year warranty but my point is if you are going to hide flaws then they should be hidden forever! Plus shame on D.R.Horton for selling us a new home that was beat up by all the trades as they built it out! Kind of like buying s car that has been in an accident but fixed with out knowing...........I would not use Unique Repairs or buy from Horton ever again. read more

I have worked with Repairs Unique for the past 3 years and as a designer, I bring them in on the end of my projects to do any touch up needed. Inevitably, there is a scratch or ding during the remodel process. I typically always request Dale as he is consistent in his work and I have not ever questioned his billing. I had a project complete mid December and I called and requested Dale and he was booked almost a month out so they scheduled me with Alyson. I met Alyson at my clients home and walked the scope of work and told her I would be working in the lower level and to come and get me if she had questions or needed anything. She was to touch up a few cabinets that had been scuffed during install. Everything was marked with blue tape. When I went to check on her she had left. My client was working at the kitchen island and when I asked him where she went he told me she said she was done and left. She was not done, there was still blue tape marking what I needed her to do. I was furious that she left without having me check her work and so I immediately called the office to let them know. Since the work was not done, I had to schedule another tech, I requested Dale to come back and do the repairs and he did a fabulous job. However, I received the bill and was billed nearly $400 for the work that Alyson did NOT do on top of the bill for Dale's time at nearly $250. I spoke many times on the phone with Janet about the bill for Alyson's time. I requested they send someone out to look at the project, discuss the situation with the homeowner whom was sitting in the kitchen while she did her work and noted the work done and amount of time she was there which was less than an hour and they did not. I gave them every opportunity to make this right and they did not. I have always paid my invoice immediately and will pay the fee for Alyson as that is how I conduct business. However, I want to put a big WARNING to all of those reading this review and to take note of many of the other comments in regards to their billing. I am sure that if someone that is a professional in this trade can get taken advantage of like I did, I imagine many homeowners have also been taken advantage of. If you decide to work with this company, be prepared to pay a hefty fee and you are at their mercy of what you will pay. I also advise that you check their work and call in payment with the tech still in your home. Do not wait for an invoice or more than likely you will be taken advantage of. I had one other project where I did not call in payment and when I received the invoice it was nearly double what I was used to paying for the same work. read more

Run from this company. Run very far and very quickly. The owner of this company (Tammy) just told me "to kiss her a**". In addition to a very unprofessional, uncouth owner, the work is subpar. Her team did poor (understatement) quality work on my brand new cabinets. The photos below speak for themselves. If you're looking to have work done, they are amazing. Before we closed on our home, the builder had them in to repair the banister - amazing!! Looked like a bear or raccoon attacked my banister) forward to a few month later - we hired a painting crew and they completely messed up our house. It's a hot mess here. Repairs unique came in and again saved the day. There was a giant chunk missing from the corner of the banister - it's like it never happened. We also have some cosmetic issues with our grey cabinets - the fix is amazing. If you're looking to touch up things they have the tools. Couldn't be happier with the fix!! read more

Great work on my tub! Had a complete bathroom remodel (down to the studs). Put in a new brand new tub but the tile setter dropped a tile in the tub and took out a big chip. Repairs Unique came in with someone who had been doing tub repairs for over 30 years who did a beautiful job. I Had them come over to repair chipped paint on my kitchen cabinets. He spent about 1 hour and sent me an outrageous bill. Now 3 months later they are a mess. He didn't sand or prepare the cabinets correctly and they are just as bad a before his work. He also would only fix the white cabinets not the blue cabinets. Zero Stars would be more appropriate for this poorly run business. My wife and I unfortunately found a hairline crack on our farmhouse sink after it was installed and island top was in place. My contractor recommended we try and repair it. I sent 3 pictures as requested by Repairs Unique on Nov. 28th and waited....and waited....finally they set an appointment for someone to come out and repair on Jan. 10th. The rep showed up at my house around 9:45, looked at the sink for no longer than 60 seconds and said it wasn't repairable. I was upset, but understood as he didn't think he could make it look new again. I respected his opinion and thanked him for trying. Two minutes later he came back to the front door and said I owed him $80 for the "service call." Yes, $80 for the 60 seconds he stood in my kitchen. He said he looked at the pictures before he came over and was confident he could fix it, but once he saw the crack, he said he couldn't. I was under the impression that a service call meant that you actually completed a "service" for your customer. I could understand charging $15 maybe $20 for the time and gas to come over, but $80.....If you want to be apart of this scam where a company makes money off of appointments and no completed work, you have found the right place. If you actually want something fixed and done by a company with ethics, make sure you look elsewhere. read more

Bought a new house, and this business did some repairs for one of the subcontractors. The gentleman that they sent out was always on time, very professional, and a true artist.
