My name is Sandy and I initially ordered flooring to be installed thru Home Depot and the…read morecontractors that came to start the installation had to stop as they said the floor needed leveling. After an intensive search, I found Mark the owner of Wakeford Consulting. He was able to come to inspect immediately and showed me that he would be able to level it and he did not try to over sell me. He was fast and did an amazing job. He did let me know that they could do the installation if Home Depot kept delaying. Home Depot tried to schedule me over a month out so I called Mark and he was available within a couple of days. Along with installing the floor, he let me know that he could also take a look at my outside deck which I had told him needed replacing. At the same time as installing the floor, he was able to order and have delivered the wood needed for the deck. Between both projects it took about 2 weeks to complete which was absolutely amazing. Mark and his worker Justin are extremely hard working men. They are honest and quite enjoyable to work with. The pricing was very reasonable and I highly recommend them for any general contracting needs.

Scott…read morewas very knowledgeable and saved us a lot of time and money by explaining why we shouldn't move the toilet. His subcontractors were mostly easy to work with and nice to be around. With any big project, there are inevitable problems that arise. Scott had all of them fixed without complaining or trying to avoid them. It was at times at great cost to him. A good contractor fixes problems without blaming and that's exactly what Scott did. We gave the company a 4 star instead of a 5 star because some of the problems were avoidable on the installation of the heated floor and the electrical work. We were thankful to have permits for these and for the construction of a new wall. We will definitely use them again but will watch the process closer and get permits again. Scott is very easy to work with and made our home even more beautiful than we imagined it.

So I looked online, and Floor & Decor had exactly what I wanted, on clearance! Woohoo! This is a GIGANTIC store. It seems to have literally EVERYTHING flooring that your heart could desire. I was enchanted by some of the tile. But I don't NEED any tile, so sadly passed it up. They have tile that looks like wood! And marble! I needed waterproof vinyl plank flooring to go over concrete, as apparently peel-and-stick requires a plywood base and is therefore more effort. The waterproof stuff is just click-and-lock, and can be cut with an X-acto knife. You can use 6-mil poly as a vapor barrier. This is for a small outbuilding, so 7 boxes should be sufficient. A very nice young man loaded the boxes onto a cart, and then put them into my car for me! Their prices seem very fair, although I just zeroed in on what I needed and didn't have time to fully explore the store. The tile selection seems vast. Best part: they're well-stocked, at least with what I bought. I'm fully confident that if I need another box, they'll have it in stock.
