I couldn't be happier with our 1800 square-foot basement remodel. They spent a few months on it and exceeded my expectations in every way. Tim the owner is very calm and extremely reliable. I got four different quotes for the remodel and Tim was the most reasonable and I'm so glad I went with him. I will be using Diversified Homefront Solutions on every home project. read more

So I have a rental property in Broomfield that is turning over. I am looking to have paint refreshed throughout and flooring in the kitchen and baths updated. I realize it's a holiday weekend but they scheduled and confirmed an appointment for 6pm on 8/31. They were a no-show. No call, no message no nuthin... so no business , at least from me. Speaks volumes for reliability. read more

They had car problems, and canceled the first time they came out. But I still decided to go with a different company.

I love Tim Encinias! He was truly caring, reliable, kind; a craftsman who paid attention to detail. He did a complete bathroom Reno for us. No project goes without glitches. He worked through them. Our project took longer than we wished, he didn't always put in 8 hr. days; but i appreciate his devotion to family time as well. He traveled from Greeley to Fort Collins daily. He didn't have other projects on top of ours. He gave us the bathroom of our dreams. read more

We hired Tim for a complete kitchen remodel. The project included demolition of the existing kitchen (appliances and cabinets were saved to be used in the future), demolition of an existing wall, island, window, and all electrical, plumbing etc. Construction included a new wall, new window location, full cabinet installation uppers and lowers, kitchen island, chandelier, recessed lighting, pendant lights, refrigerator, stove, hood, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, new electrical/plumbing/water etc., hardwood floors were refinished. Tim provided a fair estimate on day one, and throughout the project communication was always open and easy when it came to additional work, change orders, or issues encountered. Tim and his crew paid attention to quality during the entire project and it shows. I have high standards when it comes to quality, and if I found something that didn't meet my expectations, Tim was always responsive and solution oriented. Tim and his crew worked in our home for a few months, and they were always kind, considerate, and respectful. It was never a problem having them working in the house and they respected that we were living through a remodel. Overall the entire experience was great and when we have future projects, we will call Tim again. read more

Tim was professional to work with throughout my project (deck repair + exterior stair replacement). He gave a timely and fair quote and completed the work on-time and on the days we selected. I appreciate how easy it was to have this project completed. read more

Quick response! Quality work! Professional and personable! Will definitely use again.

Tim's communication, professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail were wonderful. I am so happy with the high level of work that Tim completed in my shower and bathroom; the end result looks amazing. When you have someone in your house for an elongated period of time, it is so important that they respect your space and privacy, as well as maintain a level of cleanliness and order, all of which Tim did. I will definitely be using Diversified Home Solutions again. read more

Diversified Homefront Solutions - This shower used to be a cheap, vinyl insert with cracks in it. - General Contractors Near Me

I was very happy with not only Tim's work but also his commitment to get the job done. Like any, sometimes simple job leads to a bit of extra work He was willing to stay late and get it done. I would definitely recommend this company for work you might need around your home or your office. read more

We do not recommend Diversified Homefront Solutions... Our journey with the owner, Tim, Began in May of 2022. Tim was recommended to me by a friend. My husband and I were looking to renovate our master bathroom and finish our basement. Initially Tim was very kind and seemed trustworthy. He said he would be able to finish both projects in 8 weeks. 2 weeks for the bathroom and 6 weeks for the basement. We were very enthusiastic and went for it. Tim asked for 50% of both projects (bathroom and basement) upfront, which seemed odd, but because he was a referral from a friend we had no concerns... We were very wrong. Tim was set to begin work in July when we were out of town. The first day of work he called to postpone the project by several weeks due to him "falling behind on another project." This was frustrating but we let it slide. Eventually our bathroom project began. The first week Tim was there by himself working, he said he was "having problems retaining employees." After the first week, Tim began showing up several hours late and some days he did not show up at all. Over the course of three months, he finally completed our bathroom. My husband and I were out the night he finished and returned home at 10pm with Tim in our driveway asking for the remainder of the bathroom money. We questioned this because our contract stated 50% upfront and 50% at the end. At this point our basement was not complete. Tim said that he needed the money to pay his employee, so we settled with giving him the remainder that we owed for the bathroom , since at 10pm it looked finished... The next morning we woke up and looked closely at the bathroom only to realize that the shower was a mess, floor tiles were loose, and there were multiple tiles that were crooked and uneven. In addition, the floor of the shower had the mesh netting sticking and the glass door wasn't sealed correctly and leaks every time we shower.. . We immediately contacted Tim and he said he would come and correct his work. When he did, he fixed one uneven tile and filled it with a different color grout than the rest of our shower. He did not address the leaky shower, he just reattached the old seal, and his attempt to fix the loose floor tiles did not work. Again, we mentioned this to Tim and he said he would fix it but that he wanted to move onto the basement. At this point, it had been 6 months and we wanted this project done. When starting the basement Tim asked us for more money (at this point we had paid 100% of the bathroom and 50% of the basement.) He said that "he needed money for materials" RED FLAG!!! However, Tim is a VERY convincing person and we gave him the money. After that, Tim was supposed to start the basement. This did not happen for an entire month. When he began working he would show up at 3pm, after working on another project, and stay for a couple of hours. For the next few months, he would show up from time to time doing very little work. After several more months we had asked Tim for more consistency with our basement. Every time he gave a new excuse to not be there. Believe it or not he actually asked us for even MORE money. Eventually, after a YEAR we had to terminate Tim. Currently our basement is about 20% done and our bathroom still has different colored grout, uneven tiles, leaky door... When we asked Tim for a refund on our money for the incomplete work he completely ghosted us. Currently we are filing to take Tim to court to reclaim the money that he owes us for unfinished work. This experience has been absolutely AWFUL! Tim has a very nice exterior and pretends that he will be wonderful to work with. DO NOT believe the lie. I hesitated to write this review for a long time, but in the end if I can STOP one person from getting into the mess we are in I have done something right. Do not trust Tim and his company, Diversified Homefront Solutions, and find someone else to do the work. read more

I called Tim for a bid on my basement renovation project. He was prompt in responding and scheduled a time with me that same week to come out for the estimate. He was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous throughout our interactions and followed up with the estimate on the date he said he would. The timing unfortunately didn't work out however I wouldn't hesitate to call Tim again for future projects. The price was competitive an I felt assured the work would be top notch. read more

Hi Tim. Thank you for reviewing our project and providing us with your estimate. Unfortunately, we cannot proceed with your company; in addition to your inability to accommodate our urgent need (you'd mentioned not being available for +30 days), you told me that you would have a quote to me by Wed (10/11), I didn't receive your response until 3 days later. While I am not a "contractor", I do have an understanding of what needs to be done. Your estimate of "~3 weeks" seemed exorbitant. FYI: the Contractor whom I've agreed to move forward with has estimated the entire project to take a week... which is more in line with what I would expect (not my first "rodeo".) Thank you for your time and effort! Kindest regards, Jeff read more

I'm disappointed with Diversified Homefront Solutions and the unfinished job they did at my home. We paid over 10k to refinish our hardwood floors and paint the interior (walls/ceilings/doors/trim) of our home. The paint was sloppy in so many places (Please look at pictures: those are AFTER painting, all pictures are AFTER he was "done". Those unfinished, sloppy, unkempt lines are Tim E's finished project. All following descriptions have photos included). Paint on all the door knobs because they didn't remove them or tape them off before painting. As well as all (truly all, as in every hinge of every door in the entire upstairs) of the hinges being halfway painted over because those were also not removed/taped off before painting. Each hinge is slopped paint on one side, neither painted nor covered. Just messy, and truly on every door. Two main closet doors in the kitchen hall and one of bedroom doors stick now when opening and there's been paint lost from this. They require pulling/tugging effort to open. In the Master bedroom the paint on two walls feels gritty, like you can feel grit as you pass your hand over the painted wall. When I showed Tim this, his response was "I think you should just not worry about that, no one will notice". Not to fix it, but that I should ignore it. On our initial walk post through we placed blue tape on areas that would need touched up/cleaned. Such as: wall paint going over onto the ceiling or vice versa, holes that weren't fixed initially, or paint that they had been spilled/brushed/dripped onto the refinished floors. When they came to touch up, they used the wrong paint color on some of the walls. There are still places where you can see they didn't fix the holes in the walls/ceilings, one bedroom ceiling wasn't even painted, and they didn't patch/mud walls they were paid extra for. After that the cleaner they used to clean the paint off the floors stripped the sealant, requiring the floor of one room to be sealed again. ... which meant the job took much longer than the week he told us it would take, we ended up having to use a hotel because of this. When I say longer, I mean it took 2 1/2 weeks instead of the 1 week he told us. And it's hard to put a "finished" date when so much never got finished/dialed in at the end. This review is to reference the unfinished nature my project was abandoned at in the end, after all. I spoke with him again, I walked through the house another time with pointing things out again, told him we had issues that needed to be resolved, work to finish... that they hadn't fixed the water damaged area in kitchen hard wood floor, which was the main area that needed actual repair. That area in the floor looked good for about a week but then arched and re-warped again. So he was aware. They did nothing to resolve any of this even though he came and saw it after it had re-warped, he visually inspected the rewarping (that was the last time I heard from him, when I asked about the returned floor, hinges, closets, paint, and remaining wall repair areas). It was after the second post walk through which he totally ghosted me. Zero contact after the last/2nd post-work walk through. "I'll be back to mud that wall and fix those closet doors" he says and then... nothing. He's taken our money and blown us off, called it "done" in his eyes, I guess. Understand that he was a very nice person to speak with, he seemed kind. Friendly. But that's not what I paid for. I wanted good, quality work. Tight, professional work. He was nice, but neither thorough or quick. I feel we paid $10k for a 1 week job but ended up getting more a $6.5k-ish worth 2 1/2 week job. Our house is better, yes, but it seems unfinished. Dirty paint edges, door frames, trim lines, hinges, and knobs. Floor's still warped. Still have some small holes in walls and ceilings, cracks unrepaired but painted. All that work still undone, but yet I paid for it in full already. Thus 2 stars. **Lesson Learned: Don't make our mistake. DO NOT use Diversified Homefront Solutions** read more

We wanted to finish our basement for the longest time and over two years met with 10+ different companies. We went with Tim and Diversified Homefront Solutions for many reasons. The main reason being Tim's willingness to work with us on cost while still providing us an excellent finished basement with a bedroom, storage area, bathroom and large living space. Tim was also upfront and not pushy or a salesman. He gave honest opinions and assessment of how specific add-ons would influence cost. Tim also gave us a good idea of when he was to start work and kept in contact leading up to the start work date. After working with Tim, Mike and Nate, I cannot recommend Tim and his team enough. Throughout the entire process- from first meeting us and giving us a quote to the final inspection- Tim was respectful of our space, extremely neat, and the quality of work was fantastic. We have been beyond impressed with Tim and are also using his services for our master bath. I've worked with several contracts over the years and Tim is by far the best I have worked with thus far. read more

Tim and his crew is awesome! Great communication throughout the process and better finished product than what we were expecting and at a fair price. We had some things slow down the project on our end and they were extremely patient throughout that. We will be sure to give Tim a call for our next house project!! read more

Tim is AMAZING!! We hired him to redo our complicated master bath and he did it amazingly. Because communication came with ease and our project outcome was more than what we'd hoped for, we hired Tim to redo our basement. I will recommend him to anyone who wants a smooth and carefully completed project. We plan on using Tim for the rest of our home renovations. Truly a diamond in the rough. His quotes are itemized and incredibly reasonable. He only quotes for labor which is great and allows you to gauge on how much you'd like to spend on material. Honestly do yourself a favor and have Tim bid on your project!! read more

Tim did good work and was very fair with the costs and schedule when unplanned issues came up, as they always do with a remodel. He and his crew were courteous and kept work areas and the rest of the house clean so we could function throughout the remodel. read more

This was a huge project for me (master bedroom and bathroom renovation) and I was a concerned it may become to much for me or overwhelming but this project turned out awesome. Turns out I had water damage from the shower and mold but they took care of all of that. Tim had a great idea on how to make the bathroom bigger which allowed my to have a bathtub. In the end; made my dreams of having a master bedroom that actually feel like one with a full size bathroom come true. Its so modernized and It's beautiful. Pictures are posted on his page. I've had Tim and Diversified Homefront Solutions do several projects, either for me, my family, or my clients. No project is too big or too small. They do quality work at a reasonable price, which is sometimes hard to find. The number one reason I feel comfortable recommending Tim to my clients is his communication and dependability. He is always easy to reach and always shows up at the agreed upon time and place. read more

Satisfied customer here with two complicated jobs. Utilized Tim to install a 3 panel exterior sliding glass door where a brick wall, window, and door were. Required demo, reframing, and installation. Did a great job that we hired him to complete our kitchen reno with custom design and cabinets. Very thorough and detailed, has all the equipment to keep measuring perfect, and was able to adapt to the more than uneven floor and wall challenges. Used his electrician background to rewire as well. Very impressed with his skills and knowledge, good guy to work with, great communication, and fair pricing. Will continue to use him for all home projects both simple and complex. Thank you Tim! Highly recommended. read more

very professional and gives quality work every time definitely recommend to all my friends and family. Thanks

I'm not really able to give a complete review. We had an appointment for an estimate yesterday and the guy cancelled an hour before the appointment. I understand that things come up and sometimes you have to reschedule, but he cancelled through YELP and not calling me personally. After an hour of waiting and checking my phone and email it occurred to me to check YELP. Not a great first impression, but perhaps someone else will have a better experience. read more

Tim very kindly checked out a problem I was having with my electrical system, quickly found the problem and charged me a very reasonable price. It turned out to be minor fuse issue. I appreciate that he took out the time of his busy schedule to take care of my urgent but small issue. Shows considerable character, which is SO hard to find these days. Thank You, Tim! read more
