Denver Professional Movers are amazing. They packed a 3rd floor apartment that was more of a 1 room house and moved to a 2nd floor apartment. they were courteous, professional, and quick. got the job done in 5 hrs, and the price was some of the best in the area. I would highly recommend to others. read more

These guys are amazing! We had Beck, Kom and Max move us from a high rise building to a four story townhouse with 82 stairs bottom to top (i counted after about passing out from carrying some hanging clothes prior to the move). These guys literally worked for 12 hours with one 15 minute break when i ordered pizza and insisted they took a quick rest. Their prices are super reasonable, especially considering they do not charge for stairs, overtime, transportation / truck rental. Treat these guys with respect, order a veggie pizza and some colas if its a long day for them and you will have the best moving experience possible. Recommend 1000%!!! read more

Where to start? This is the second time I use this company. I will use them for sure on my next move. Excellent service, on time and great communication. They were both very careful with all my furniture and boxes. They were able to disassemble, move and assemble again very complex furniture. They really went the extra mile, by coincidence Amazon delivered a new piece of furniture while we were moving, they not only helped the UPS guy to bring the heavy boxes up to the third floor, but they also offered to help me assemble the new bed (not an easy task to do by myself). They completed it in a very professional way. I will recommend them for sure. read more

DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY! I repeat DO NOT! I payed them for a full packing and moving service well in advance and made my deposit. They gave me a window of 2-6. I called around 2 just to ask what kind of schedule it looked like and they said I'd be first on the list. 4:30 comes and still no word. Called about 10 times and no answer. They text me at 6:20 saying "here". My new building was now already closed. What if I HAD to be out today? Not reliable? Ha! They will leave you down and out. read more

The movers showed up a little late. None of them spoke English as a first language and had to use app multiple times to communicate and then relay to the other movers. Time took longer than expected. They were contracted for 3 men but brought 4 since only the one somewhat spoke English. I ultimately got moved but I would opt for the first window of the day vs a later one as per the reviews they consistently underestimate job times. After tip, I ended up paying about double what I was quoted. The upside here is they had availability in the short window I needed. read more

Denver Professional Movers did a great job. They were easy to communicate with and were appropriately priced compared to many of the other companies I called. They worked hard and were careful with my furniture. I like that they didn't charge me until they got to my house. There was snow on the ground the day if our move so our carpet is an absolute mess. I'm not sure what the movers could have done to prevent that but now I need to pay to get it cleaned. Maybe it's just the price of moving during winter. read more

I don't even know where to begin... but I would suggest reading all of the negative reviews for this company. From start to finish on the day of the move they were HORRIBLE. I was told that they would be at my apartment between 8-9am which was important because the apartment that they were moving me into had me blocked for a specific time to use the elevators. I got a call around 9:15am that they were on their way - they had to stop at the gas station. They got to my apartment around 9:30am. When I called to get a quote - I was told, after describing my apartment size and the items that needed to be moved - that the cost would be $645 for 3 hours, 3 men and a truck. When they showed up - I got two men and a boy. The boy was the one to communicate with me as there was a communication breakdown with the other two men that were there. The three hour job took 8 hours - EIGHT HOURS - to complete. I was told that they were not expecting the distance from my apartment to the elevator.... WHAT??? When we got to my new apartment - we had CLEARLY missed the window of blocked off time for the elevators... so for about 4 hours each load they had to wait for the elevators... which took forever to complete. When they got here - clearly they were frustrated that the move was taking as long as it was and significant damage was done to my home - Shown in the pictures below. They were supposedly able to breakdown my bed and put it back together as a service that they provide... let's just say - the bed was not put back together the correct way - and it is a new bed. I really could go on and on about the number of breaks that they took... how incredibly lazy the younger mover was...but I will leave it here with a WARNING - do not use this service. I disputed the charges with my credit card company - and lost (which I figured I would)... They offered me $100 for "Good faith"... I told them what they could do with their $100. I will do what I can to make sure that everyone learns about how poor this company really is. P.S. They go by DENVER PROFESSIONAL MOVERS... yet the charge comes from MOVING SERVICES Inc. I know about DBA's - but I think that this is just a shady operation. read more

We used these movers for an in town move a while back when we lived in Denver and moved to Parker. Our boxes were left in whatever room the guys felt like leaving them in. Then they were upset with the tip my husband gave them (which was a good tip for the cost of the move) and they wouldn't leave until he gave them more money. I waited some time to post this review because the guys were so shady... read more

This company is a complete and utter joke. I was quoted 3 hours for a one bedroom apartment moving 10 minutes up the road and it took 5.5 hours. My house was a complete mess when they left. My furniture was on its sides and they didn't put the labeled boxes in the rooms like I asked. the mover didn't know how to work his credit card machine and almost charged me $5207 dollars but I snatched my card out of the reader. I called to file a complaint and they said it's a "reasonable" time. My last movers moved a 3 bed 2 bath over an hour away in 4.5 hours away. SAVE YOUR MONEY! This is a horrible company. I read more

These guys at Denver Professional Movers really are professionals and top notch!! I see bad reviews on here and I cant see why. I really cant! They wrap everything when they move it so they don't cause damage to your walls and door frames moving your stuff. All I can say is wow! They drove to my pods I had at U-Haul and loaded my things and even pointed out damage that was caused by U-Haul and showed much respect for my stuff! These guys were fast, efficient and really nice! Helped me get into a storage unit and I can't recommend them enough.

Very pleased with my experience! I utilized this company as I relocated from Texas to unpack my container at the storage facility and travel to my new apartment. Quick and careful with no damages or issues. I would absolutely recommend this group! read more

We had a great move, and I feel very good recommending Denver Professional Movers. They came on time, communicated very well, took great care with our things, and got the job done quick. We had a crib that would not fit through a door. These guys were great. I've used them twice in the past year. Two guys showed up on time and worked fast but carefully. I moved from a studio to a one bed so it only took 2 hours and I still had to pay for three but it was well worth it. Highly recommend! read more

My fiance and I hired Denver Professional Movers to move us each from our individual condo's into our new house. Setting up the move was easy. One truck went to my fiance's condo and one came to my condo. Both trucks showed up on time and loaded and unloaded in the quoted time. I had used a moving company once before and they were not as professional as Denver Professional Movers. DPM wrapped ever piece of furniture to prevent scratching/damage. We did have a few boxes that ended up in the wrong rooms, but overall that was not a huge deal - considering how many boxes they were dealing with. They were also very careful moving all furniture and removed all furniture wrapping once moved in. The staff from both trucks went above and beyond helping us move. I would highly recommend them. Once the trucks were empty the movers did a walk through with us to ensure they did not forget anything on their trucks. read more

I want to give a shout out to the moving company I used recently. These guys went above and beyond! They responded to my inquiry almost immediately regarding their price, which I thought was fair. I booked with them and they made sure to follow through with all my questions. I had never used a moving company before (my poor dad had to do all the work lol) and it went easier then I thought. Easy to contact and keep in touch with, and treated my stuff as if it was their own. Check them out, they are super helpful. Moving is never fun but they definitely make it easier! read more

Unfortunately, a horrible experience with these guys. First off, not all of them spoke English, maybe even only one, so it made communication with them very difficult. Telling them what we wanted or what we needed to do seemed to fall on deaf ears unfortunately, if you want to call it that since it was obviously unable to communicate with them. Second, we were not supposed to be charged for an hour of service as their truck had died when trying to move to our moving location and they had to have their manager come and jump it. They charged us for that time and we forgot to bring it up with all the chaos of the move. When we got to our destination, we specifically told them that we wanted coolers to be placed in the kitchen as they had food in them. Most of them made it, but one ended up in the back of a room behind a ton of boxes. By the time I was able to locate this cooler, the food had gone bad in it, once again, lack to being able to communicate with all but one mover. When they had finally finished moving, they were writing up the bill, and once again, no credit for the hour the truck was down, they asked how much we wanted to tip. Well, when we told them how much we wanted to tip, they laughed at us and said that most people give us $50 each! I actually had to negotiate the tip with these people which is absolutely ridiculous. Instead of just saying forget it, you don't want what we are giving you, you get nothing, I actually went through the negotiating process with them which was totally stupid and, after what I had found, they should have gotten absolutely nothing, especially charging us for the hour they were down. We did find some damaged items and had to file a claim. They low balled us with the amount that they wanted to give us and had to point some things out in order to get it a little higher. Still wasn't compensated for the hour down time that they had and we had damage to our bed, a chair, a dressed, in which we were told sorry, we don't cover fiberboard items. Here's an idea, don't stack heavy items on top of it if it's a question. This is a company that looks like a hit and miss for people, some have good experiences, some have terrible experience, unfortunately, we were one of the terrible experiences where I would never in any way recommend these people. Good luck to everyone out there who hires these guys and I hope you have one of the great experiences. read more

B.E.W.A.R.E. My hopes were for success so writing a negative review was not anticipated. Deserve 0 stars. This company pulled every moving scam on the books with the exception of holding my items hostage. Scam #1 - When booking with thorough description including pictures; "Jason" (everyone goes by Jason) advised against 2 trucks with full knowledge of square footage and items; I told him I'd still like to max out at 4-5 hours. He said going with the 5 guys rate ($237/hr); they could handle it no problem. When movers arrive they immediately say it will take 8-10 hours since I didn't get 2 trucks. Jacking up the price tremendously. They said they had to do a minimum of two loads for all my items. The office and the movers work together no matter how much they try to tell you they are contracted. Scam #2 - Movers offer to personally come back at a reduced rate if you rent a truck for the rest so they can return the truck to the company. Price ultimately quoted was the same as paying the company + you run around finding a U-haul. Scam #3 - When arriving to new home; movers pulled the let's-carry-one-item-a piece to milk the customer for as long as we can move. Scam #4 - When told they would not be paid past the minimum three hours that I would be hiring a different company for the following day. They ran so fast the sweat was pouring. Finished (1) 26 ft truck; loading & unloading in 2 hours & 15 min. WAY OFF from the original quote of 8-10 hours. Had they done (2) truck loads they could have been done in 5; maybe 6 hours. *they work as fast or as slow as they can in order to make the most money off the customer. Unprofessional-ism #1 - They were late. I was given a window of 9-10 am and they showed up at 10:20 with no prior call. I had to call the main office & they just put me on hold. Unprofessional-ism #3 - Movers put a lemon sized hole in the wall while moving furniture; instead of communicating the mistake they covered the wall with their handy dandy large moving post it note the color of the wall to avoid being seen. Unprofessional-ism #4 - Bobby; the manager was rude and disrespectful. They spent their time making jokes and talking about us the whole time. Bobby also attempted to physically intimidate me by standing in front of my car door demanding I sign the paperwork to let them leave. When I exited the car; he shouted in my ear that there was 10 minutes left to the contract and I needed to sign immediately. Unprofessional-ism #5 - Movers dropped marked items in garage and main floor to avoid moving to either the upstairs or downstairs. Unprofessional-ism #6 - Found all boxes marked "fragile" upside down. Luckily we packed well and the damage was one item of little value. Unprofessional-ism #7 - Company never contacted after the service to get feedback. Scam from the get-go. We refused to be taken by any of their tactics. Literally turned on the surveillance at the new home and kept the videos. Had friends come to witness as well as the handyman that was at the new house installing shelving. There were (2) Russian gentlemen that were clearly the "workers" and they did a good job. We went out of our way to thank and tip them personally. I did not tip the others who were supervising the move; they were the scammers indeed and the ones making it difficult for everyone. These guys only moved the items from the main floor & left the other levels for the next company I had to find; easiest route for them. Denver Professional Movers attempts to take advantage of people when they are vulnerable and moving without the opportunity to recover. I fortunately had the time and resources to delay the second half of my move to the following day. I contacted another company Denver Small Movers for the following day to complete the job. The service between the two companies was night and day. Denver Small Movers had 3 guys; did a full 26 ft truck as well; finished in 3 1/2 hours and were the nicest fastest working guys I could have asked for. I paid $200/hr for 3 guys Mind you these guys were left with the basement and upstairs to tackle. They made sure everything was where we wanted it and even moved a heavy item that Denver Professional put in the wrong place. I've work in the property management field in Denver for 25 years so I was very aware of the potential tactics as well as being prepared both for the move and any unexpected situations. Not only were we ready and waiting for them to show up but we had donuts waiting for them when they finally arrived 20 minutes late. I am member of AAMD & Denver Real Estate Commission; I will do my best to warn the public of this company. Don't waste your time and heartache over something so important - stay far away from Denver Professional Movers. If looking for reliable, hard working and honest movers use DENVER SMALL MOVERS; they saved the day & proved not all Denver movers will try to take advantage of you!! read more

This was a WONDERFUL experience. I have never hired movers before, and had only heard other people's horror stories. But this place was wonderful; they were very quick and very careful with my stuff. These guys lived up to their name. They were professional, courteous, and quick. We had them help us move our 2 bedroom apartment to our new home and they came in wearing white gloves, took the time to wrap all the delicate things, and we're in and out faster than we expected. The took apart and reassembled a complicated bed set and we couldn't have been happier. Highly recommend working with these guys. The one thing we wish worked our better was we were unable to get a confirmation email when we booked over the phone, but I blame technology rather than anyone on the team. read more

We were very happy with our Denver pro movers experience. Sasha, Alex and Jose(?) were really awesome. They hustled. We moved from a 3rd story apt to a single family home. It did take longer than expected/quoted but I think it's because we did not have everything 100% packed or wrapped. As a side note, I've seen a lot of people bash moving companies for dinging or scratching their items and I just think that's the nature of moving. I have a large read hutch with plenty of bruises from multiple moves. It's what happens. I went to Home Depot and was able to match paint that I touch it up with. Pro-tip: pack everything. Bag your mattresses and wrap your furniture. This is what takes the most time. read more

Just hired this company for a seamless move yesterday from a 3 bedroom townhome to a 5 bedroom single family home. My piano was moved expertly. Do NOT use these movers. They did a fine job but couldn't get all our furniture in their truck - additional movers and truck were supposed to come but never did. When I called them the next business day to see when they were coming back, we were told that they could come back in 3 weeks which is after our house was sold. We talked to multiple of their "Customer Service" people who could care less about our furniture being left behind. Thank goodness for another moving company who came THE NEXT DAY and did a wonderful job taking the rest of our furniture to our new house. We will be giving recommendations to this other company to anyone we know who is moving!! read more

Be warned! Just used these guys for a move from CO to CA. They damaged so many items and now no one will even return a call after I submitted a claim. So their insurance doesn't mean much. I have called 4 times and emailed 3. It looks like they drug a cherry and steel desk on its side and removed the entire finish on one side and totally chewed up the wood. Our washer was caved in, our dining room table had a huge gouge in it, one nightstand was completely caved in; drawer broken in two, every framed picture we had, the paper on the back is ripped. Oh someone took the liberty of "lifting" some tools out of the tool box including an entire socket set. That was nice. We used them to load our truck and also the day before to help with packing up the kitchen. I DEFINITELY would NOT recommend that. They must have stock in tape because every glass, every dish, every plate was wrapped with one sheet of wrapping paper and then TAPED. Not just to hold the paper but totally encapsulating the entire item in several layers of tape. More tape than you have ever seen in your life. So unpacking required a knife for EVERY dish. Tape doesn't even protect anything. It was a complete cluster. My experience was not representative of all the glowing reviews here. That's why I chose them to begin with. I would be very skeptical. BTW, just found out these guys have a C- rating from the Better Business Bureau. The complaints on there are much more in alignment to what I experienced vs. the reviews posted here. read more

WHAT A TOTAL NIGHTMARE. If you hire them, pray. Quick summary: They don't have English speaking movers. Brush up on your Russian. They won't listen to you. They don't have Insurance. They don't have any lighting on their trucks. If you are going to hire them, make sure they only work in daylight. When they try to schedule your job for the afternoon. Just. Say. No. Be prepared to take them to court. Had to go through small claims lawsuit after my move. If you value your time and possessions avoid this company. The owners are morally corrupt. I would be extremely surprised if many of the positive reviews here and elsewhere weren't written by them themselves. I hired Denver 'Professional' Movers to move me just a few miles from Aurora to South East Denver. Knowing I had some heavy items, I asked if it would make more sense for a team of 4 movers. I also ask for a truck with a lift gate. They said they had another job, but could send 3 and that it would be enough. The day of the move, 3 guys show up. 2 of them cannot speak English at all, and a 3rd who could barely speak any English (By this virtue, he was their leader). He tells me that this isn't the truck he usually has, and that it doesn't have all the equipment he prefers. Awesome. And so, the first signs of the nightmare begin. I explain repeated that if anything is too heavy, they should leave it for the heavy equipment mover I have coming the next day. I say repeated because I mean it. Throughout the move, I have to keep telling them the same things over and over because they don't speak English. Unfortunately, I haven't colluded with Russia as much as my president has and my Russian is limited to "Vodka", "Nostrovia", and "Da sveedaneeya" (almost exclusively and in that order). Despite my requests to not move the heavy items, some things I had were on wheels. I have a small 32" lathe that I use for machining bushings and things. They tried rolling it around and didn't have any issues. With me helping, we get it loaded easily using the lift gate. Some of the other things they chose to leave (the heavy equipment mover took care of them easily the next day). As they started at 3PM, by the time we get to unloading, it is dark. Only at this point do they explain that the truck they have doesn't have ANY lights on the back or in the box area. Also, they don't have any flood lights. The one who kind of speaks a little English asks me to go buy one. I tell them, fine, but that they should wait for me to come back with the light (I already have a bad feeling that they are just going to do whatever they want anyway). 30 minutes later, I come back with the floodlight and find 5 more guys on the scene and my lathe on its side on the floor. Forman dude says sorry. That they wanted to go home so they started unloading without the light. With the help of the other 5 guys (who also can barely speak any English) they get the truck unloaded. I file a claim with them the day after for the damage to the lathe. Keep in mind, moving companies in Colorado are only liable for $0.60/lb. Yeah, only $0.60/lb. So, if they break anything, typically, they literally DO NOT CARE. Unfortunately, this time the item they broke was heavy. I asked if they would just like to have a machinist come and survey what it would cost to fix the lathe. They refused. They then refused to cover the damages and said if I wanted anything I would have to take them to court. So, yeah, I had to sue them to get anything covered. That's one day of lost work for mediation. Another day for court. All costs with the filing fees, photo prints, etc. At court, they lied under oath. Stating that they had 8 extra people show up to finish the move. In addition (even though I NEVER requested the extra people. Nor did I have even the option to talk about it before they brought them) they counter sued me for the 8 extra men they needed to clean up the dropped items (they also dropped two desks and broke the legs off them). After the judge awarded me my costs minus the wages they claimed for the inflated 8 guys, the owner of the company asked if they get to take my lathe. $0.60 on the pound barely comes close to repairing it and doesn't come close to its value. Fortunately, the judge explained that breaking things doesn't entitle you to steal them too. Please, please, please - do yourself a huge favor and avoid the nightmare that I had to go through. read more

Really expensive for the simple move. I was moving up to a different floor of the same building which took about an hour for them and they charged me over $300. I knew about the minimum charge but I thought it maybe worth the price. Because of my bad previous experience with other movers, I decided to spend more money with a company that had better reviews on yelp but it was not worth the price. I labeled my boxes and asked them to move the boxes to where I labeled them. But they put "closet" labeled boxes in my BATHROOM and rest just all piled up in my living room. Also my lighted vanity that has a led light is missing a bulb. And they took my key fob to my apartment. Never heard from them to get it returned. I do not recommend this place read more

Wow! Just Wow! First of all one of the movers showed up with no mask in the middle of a pandemic. He asked me if I would like him to wear one, I said I would, but he just continued to move without one. If you choose to use this moving company do NOT have them move wall art. The glass was broken on one. When I showed the team lead he just shrugged. Upon further inspection, almost all of the frames have knicks out of them. There was also a large knick out of one of the legs of a chair b/c they did not wrap them AT ALL. Just put them in the truck as is. I called to talk with someone and have not heard back yet. Save yourself the pain and go with another moving company. read more

DPM was efficient, fast and courteous. I have never had movers before so I didn't know how the whole process worked. It was cool that They wrapped all of my big belongings and made sure that they were covered with blankets. My place was very tiny and only took a little under two hours so the only complaint I had, was there is a minimum of three hours(I get why) but I'd probably have been more inclined to throw them the extra cash for that hour that they did not work but were paid. Overall, I would give them a great referral and use them in the future! Thanks Josh and Javick(Sp) read more

John's team with Denver Professional Movers was great. They gave a 30 mins heads up of when they would arrive at the old house. (It was right in the middle of the estimated 1 hour arrival time) They were very fast and efficient. They provide wardrobe boxes to put all your clothes in. They started with all the boxes first, then moved to furniture. Some of it needs to be broken down, ie a dining room, any office furniture (I have a glass top that suctions on, so it's removed and put into a blanket) Then any last minute items they were still able to fit in the van ie my grill and my patio furniture. They do bring their own tape, blankets and plastic wrap - to protect any of the higher value furniture. I had a 1300 sq ft, 1 bedroom with two offices, washer and dryer (30" size) and everything else. They were able to pack everything up in 2 hrs and unpack everything in about 2.75 hrs. If you choose not to pack your house up yourself, they can bring an extra person to specifically pack up your belongings. I didn't choose this one, since its easier for me to go through what I have an purge/donate anything I haven't used in a while. It's cheaper if you pay in cash of course, but they will take credit cards as well. read more

They did a great job on moving me from a 3rd story apartment with no elevator and pricing was reasonable.

Don't do it! They charge by the hour, don't work as a team, destroyed my walls, furniture, spilled sprite on my garage floor now I have ants, left food in my garage, say they will wrap your items but didn't or only a few, took 17 hours! and yes that is charging by the hour. They blamed me and my things. Do not use these guys. One of the workers was rolling my Ethan Allen table across the floor! Please see pictures below. When you charge by the hour there is no incentive to work fast or efficient. I moved 7 miles away and they charged me $6,250.00. They put thing in the truck and left the essential items then told me that I needed another truck, then I had to pay for them to go back a 3rd time to get my couch and beds. By that time, I was stuck and they knew it so I had to agree to their terms or I'd have to pay somebody else to finish the job and they knew it. Unethical and unprofessional. Do not use. Let my bad experience be your warning. read more

This company moved me last September. Came in under time and budget and nothing was broken. Friendly and efficient!

AVOID!!! Slow...careless...is great words to describe these movers. Simple loading of our U-haul was the job, seems straight forward enough. A less that 2 bedroom condo took 6hrs and the men team they sent where very small statured men who SLID our leather sectional down the walls of the large stairwell, causing rub marks all over ruining the leather. As we unpacked at our destination I found a broken lamp and other items tossed on top of the inside of the truck. NOT... a professional move, and I will post pictures to back up my review. As to being given slow... I called their dispatch numerous times, was told I would get a call back numerous times, and didn't receive a call back until a person from the main customer service office got involved..... By that time we had to let just them finish. I have used other professional movers many, many times in the last 4 years and always came away feeling it was money well spent, and confident in the experience of the crews that were sent out. Absolutely not with these buffoons. I wouldn't hire them again and I would advise to look elsewhere or go to the home Depot for some day labor... read more
