We used Elite Movers to help us relocate from our downtown apartment, and it could not have gone smoother. There rates were much better than the other companies we contacted, and they didn't try to hide a bunch of fees which I have had happen with previous moving company. Daniel and Drew were both great, and got the job done faster than our estimate. I would 100% go with Elite Movers Denver again for my next move! read more

Flakey-drug-like behavior, stole $100 from me after already over charging me another $100. tl;dr - America First Moving uses this now-defunct company's website & phone number to forward you to a completely different moving company that isn't Denver/Front Range local, is wildly more expensive the closer you schedule your moving date, their cancellation/refund policy is HAIRY, and I recommend avoiding them at all costs. All My Sons movers saved us much more money. My wife and I used these movers in 2022 when they were a locally owned business. They were bought by America First Moving at some point (a nationwide company), and they decided to leave the website URL and changed the phone number to forward the calls to this other company. Quote was nearly triple the amount, and I needed to lock in a moving date, so I signed some contracts. When I decided to cancel, I got a call from someone who wasn't nearly as helpful as setting up the moving date, and this person used my frustration to make me seem like I was escalating the situation. He used scare tactics such as "Because this call is recorded, you may not be eligible for a refund based on your contradicting explanation". I was practically villainized for misunderstanding the refund policy - there should be no shame in shooting your shot when you feel like you've been tricked into thinking you're using the same moving company's website's phone number. You will not get all your money back if you sign the contract, and I was lucky to get even half a refund. I was inside my local bank branch to dispute the transaction on the 10th business day following the cancellation, when I finally saw the promised refund in my account before following through with the dispute. We used All My Sons Movers to remedy the situation for a way better price. I can't emphasize this enough: *this is NOT Elite Movers Denver. It IS America First Moving*. read more

Excellent service. Daniel and Brandon were our movers. Found this company on Yelp. Reached out for a quote, and had a quick response. We gave our deposit to hold our appointment. The day of our move, the guys called us when they were on their way to our apartment. We had a third floor apartment, and were moving our things to a storage unit, and then an additional stop at my son's home to drop off some furniture. Daniel and Brandon were courteous, professional and took great care of our furniture and belongings. We would definitely recommend this company to everyone in the area. read more

It's now been 5 months since my move with nothing but excuses from Jerry about the $2600 in dinner dishes they broke. Not only did they severely underestimate my move, taking 2 days to do it, but they broke my good China, that was a gift from my now deceased father. read more

Hired them a few weeks in advance with a phone call, very simple process. On moving day, they had to wait for 30min. outside my new place with a truck full of my stuff while the property owners had some difficulty with last minute things. During this time, it started to pour rain! I would have expected and even tolerated a poor attitude or extra charges but these guys moved my stuff to a 3rd floor apartment while getting soaking wet (and respecting my belongings) without hesitation nor complaint. They stayed within the estimate as well. Definitely recommend!! read more

Daniel and Drew were extremely professional, helpful and did a great job with our move. On one of the coldest days of the year they moved us into our new home seamlessly and in a quick manner. Thank you for the excellent work! read more

Needed movers to unload my U-Haul from a move out of state. Scheduled everything via the Yelp messaging and they were really responsive and cost competitive. Two young guys showed up on time, they called when they were on their way, and they hustled all my items from the truck, up the elevator, and around the maze of the apartment complex. They were very friendly, efficient, and professional. Will be on my short list for when I need movers again. read more

This is a hard review because I really liked the movers. They were prompt, polite, friendly, and they worked really hard. It was a long day, and I really appreciated the service. On the downside, the packing they did wasn't well marked or organised (like the box labeled "old paint" that was full of cookie cutters and cake pans and was moved into the basement). The packing I did myself was well organized and clearly labeled, but they put a bunch of boxes in the wrong places, necessitating me moving things from garage to basement, from basement to second floor, etc. Most of what they moved in, they put label-to-the-wall, so I couldn't see what was in boxes without unstacking everything and turning it around. There were fragile boxes that I moved in myself, and they crushed some of them by putting heavy piles of boxes on top of them. So far, nothing seems to be broken, but it was gut-wrenching to get to the bottom of a stack of boxes and see the one marked "Fragile and Irreplaceable" squashed. I asked them to move my piano to the basement. When Jerry came out for the estimate, he said they could do it. The movers told me Jerry told them they could only move a piano downstairs if the landings are at least 46". He didn't tell me that when he gave me the estimate, or I would have measured the landings prior to the move and saved the stress. I hired an actual piano moving company to take it from my living room to my basement after the fact, so that landing requirement was arbitrary, and the move to the basement was certainly doable. When I tried to put my bookcases back together, I couldn't find the shelf pegs anywhere, and I thought maybe they'd have a standard procedure for such things, so I called. Jerry said he'd ask the guys and get back to me. He never got back with me. My overall feeling is that they're great people and hard workers, and I'd hire them again, but I'd provide a lot more supervision. Nothing tragic happened, but it could have been a much better experience with minimal effort. read more

Min and Jake were shockingly efficient. They figured out and re-assembled many tricky desks and tables that we had, without a complaint. They didn't break a sweat or even the smallest fragile items. They were great at talking through our preferences for where to put furniture and were creative in getting the large items through narrow spaces, etc, etc... AND -- they were also very conscious about wearing masks and staying sanitary because of Covid. Highly recommended. read more

I needed to move a baby grand piano last minute and was having a hard time finding movers who were experienced with pianos. Jerry and his Elite team were recommended by a local piano tuner, and were able to step up and schedule a move within 48 hours. I was impressed by their patience and care for the piano, as well as their timeliness (they called in the morning saying they could arrive a bit earlier than scheduled). All in all, I had a great experience with the Elite team, and would recommend them to anyone looking to move an upright or baby grand at a fair price and with a relatively quick turnaround. read more

The movers were absolutely lovely which is why this rating isn't lower. They were professional and nice and got the job done quick. However the pricing was misleading especially when it came to the security deposit. Also customers should be told what can and cannot be moved BEFORE moving day. I ended up moving three cars worth of items because I wasn't informed plants and boxes without tops couldn't be moved by the movers. Please be more communicative upfront! read more

It's a privilege to be able to move to a new house. So I cringe when I catch myself saying Moving Sucks. Regardless, I don't enjoy the experience. Finding a good partner to help facilitate the transition becomes incredibly valuable during the moving experience. I found Elite Movers through Yelp (duh). 5 stars. Decent review sample size. So we gave them a shot. Elite Movers exceeded all expectations. Our crew was Daniel, Chris, and Drew. They were professional, they were efficient, they were meticulous, they were thoughtful, . They were the perfect partner during moving day. It was as much of a seamless moving experience as we could have asked for. I recommend them without hesitation. read more

We used Elite Movers to move just over a block away. Move went fine, however our quote was way off. We ended up paying almost double what we were quoted online, and they added an extra mover to our move - which is fine, but once again, different from our quote. One of the reasons we chose Elite Movers was the great price point, but with the quote ended up what it was, we might have chosen elsewhere. They also would not move our open bags, any liquids, and do not have free wardrobe boxes as stated on their website. read more

Was supposed to have movers show up from 1030 to 1130. Called the main number when they didn't show, was told it was pushed back half an hour only to get a call from the actual mover a few minutes later saying he wouldn't be available for three more hours, already an hour late at this point. I couldn't wait because i had to reserve the freight elevator, called the main number again. She said she'd call the owner and see if there was anything they could do, but then she never called me back and stopped answering my calls. I ended up having to call around to a bunch of other companies until I found one that had availability immediately and pay a surcharge for it in order to get moved in time just because elite movers double booked and couldn't actually move me. read more

Elite Movers did a fantastic job helping us move a short distance across Denver. They were super responsive and helped get me the right certificates I needed for my HOA, showed up bright and early and on time, quickly packed away all our furniture and boxes, and got us into our new place in under 4 hours. All the furniture was properly wrapped and nothing was scratched (including our walls -- which was hard to do with some of our oversized stuff). The guys was super polite and quick -- and their prices were really competitive (I compared with quotes from about 10 other local moving companies). Would definitely use again (although I'm hoping not to move again anytime soon, hah). read more

Very happy we went with this moving company! They got back to us right away with a quote and were not like the other moving companies calling and emailing daily. Our movers, Felipe and Drew were amazing. They were so efficient and took great care of our belongings. They moved our 2 bedroom third floor apt into our new house in about 4.5 hours. We have already recommended this company and our movers to a couple friends that are moving soon. read more

I cannot recommend Elite Movers Denver enough. From start to finish, they made the process of moving a breeze. I reached out to the owner, Jerry, through Yelp. He responded immediately with a quote for a one bedroom apartment, $490-590. I called to book an appointment the next day, about a month before my move date. To my surprise, they had availability the morning I needed to move. I placed my $100 deposit over the phone and was informed that this deposit will go towards my total. On the day of, I received a call from one of the movers, Chris, at 8am, letting me know they were on their way. Chris and Eddie got right to work. They were prompt, professional, kind, and so careful with my belongings. They got my things loaded into the truck in about 2 hours. The unloading process went even faster. They were attentive to the labels on my boxes and placed all my belongings and furniture in the correct rooms. Chris even helped me disassemble and reassemble my bed frame and headboard. The final cost of my move was $610. Jerry took my payment over the phone. I highly recommend using Elite Movers for all your moving needs. They even move out of state. They come prepared with a large truck and moving supplies that ensure your belongings are safe and secure throughout the move. Thank you Chris and Eddie! Chris also works for Seven Brothers Moving and Eddie owns his own cleaning company. Request them if you want top of line service and professionalism! read more

This is the second time we've used Elite Movers in the past three years and my goodness, they really are so fantastic. Daniel moved us three years ago and today and is such a fantastic move lead, and Ben was new to us. They arrived early, moved nonstop, fixed a shelf that was wobbling, and just all around made the moving process so smooth and easy. I feel so lucky and loyal to Elite Movers and will continue to use them for every move in the Denver metro area. They've even gone outside their zone for us both times we've used them! Excellent movers. They were very knowledgeable on how to pack our U-Pack/ABF moving truck. Hustled their way through. Jerry, your response and continued inability to apologize and accept responsibility for your negligence is what makes your company so unprofessional. That is NOT what happened and if you believe that then someone is not telling the truth. Breanna called us last minute to reschedule our move because one worker was having a baby and another one left your company. She offered us the following day, and when we called and were left with no choice but to accept that, she confirmed us for 4 men, 2 trucks, and they would show up at 8-9am. You clearly confirmed our appointment then left us high and dry. Your deflection and unwillingness to take responsibility for your company's negligence is just gross. Also, you DID collect a deposit from us, for $200 as you know and can see in this picture, and we have yet to receive that back. read more

This is hands down the best company I have ever worked with, and that's saying a lot. They are not only incredibly affordable, but talk about above and beyond. Jerry has to be one of the kindest business owners I have ever dealt with, and his employees, Jay and Antonio took excellent care of all my belongings. Not one single scratch or break. They are kind, courteous, and caring. My move became more complicated than originally thought, and they handled it with a smile and professionalism, even when they ended up having to make 2 trips. The guys worked an extra long day, and with not one complaint. I have moved almost 20 times in my life (crazy job) and I have literally never experienced a company that has gone this far above and beyond. I realized when I had gotten to my new place that I'd left the keys at my old apartment, and they didn't miss a beat. They just started unloading things into the hallway of my new place, and kept things running smoothly while I went and retrieved the keys (thank goodness it was only 15 minutes away) Not only do I HIGHLY recommend Elite movers here online, but I've recommended them to co-workers and clients, and if ever I move again here in Denver (hopefully not for awhile lol) I will most certainly be using them again. I would give them 10 stars if I could! read more

After calling twice to ensure my appointment was booked and reminding them they need to collect my deposit (yes, I know, please take my money), there was NO call NO show. Still 3 days later, no response to my voicemails. I am beyond disappointed and will caution anyone to please stay away from this company. Not sure if all the positive reviews were from earlier experiences but this is not what I thought a Yelp guarantee and 4.7 stars is getting me. Moving is a very stressful time and when your movers don't show up and it's 3pm and you have to move 1.5 hours away it's no fun.... So kudos to Legacy Movers who showed up at a last minute and made it happen and made it fun. So, if you ever in a bind with "Elite" Movers company, call Legacy! read more

I hired elite to move my mom from one nursing home to another. They quoted me and set the appointment and never showed up. They were unreachable (called, emailed, messaged etc). I had to hire another company last minute and pay a last minute fee. I eventually got an email from the owner who was on vacation and was apologetic, and offered to cover my costs or at least the late fee for the other mover. I sent him the bill and never heard from him again. Jerry to your question- yes I am sure it was Elite. Further, I never received a check as your comment suggests. I've already spent more time than I should have to. You have my contact info. Go back and review your email from around the 18th of January of this year. It may seem suspicious to see so many positive reviews but it's not, I promise, it's all well deserved. I used Elite Movers this past weekend to move my 1br apartment and I couldn't be happier. Min and Brad gave me a call when they were on their way so I knew when to expect them. They moved quickly and took great care of all my stuff. Apparently, one box labeled mugs and glasses had toppled over when they were moving stuff, and Min made sure to let me know even though the box seemed fine. He just wanted to be sure to be honest with me - how great is that?! They were both super friendly and made my move a breeze. Their prices are competitive which is just another reason to go with them for your move. One note - if they don't pick up, be sure to leave a voicemail and they'll get back to you pretty quickly.
