Zac and crew are an amazing team. I've used them two times now and both times to move from Denver to the middle of the Roaring Fork Valley. This time I needed to move my late mother's belongings into my house in the dead of winter. Not only we're they able to accommodate taking stuff to Goodwill and the dump but they were able to deliver in a full colorado winter. Our driveway is extremely long. The moving truck and wasn't able to make it down the driveway getting stuck at the very entrance. These guys carried all the items down 150-200 feet of snowy driveway and safely into our house. I witnessed rudeness and arrogance while at a local uhaul from a crew of 2 out of Colorado. They were nasty to another customer because they didn't want her parking next to them. Rude to the uhaul worker, he was alone on a Saturday, became impatient and honestly looked like they were throwing a fit. I recommend EPIC MOVERS ARE AMAZING! Hire these guys if you want them to be prompt, affordable and super detail oriented. They go above and beyond what my family was looking for in a moving company. They carried extra moving blankets to cover and get our furniture to our house with two babies. Sometimes having a big family can be hard to manage while moving. They helped us get all our baby stuff set up first prioritizing our move without having us even explain they had a system in place. These guys have the skills. Cole and his team moved my mother from a sticky situation with short notice. Landlord sold out from underneath her and we had limited time to get her out. My review is on behalf of a loved one who is sick. The professionalism of Cole from this company was horrible. As my family member was forced to give up a Uhaul, the manager of the Centennial Uhaul off County Line had contacted this company (who he has very obviously worked with before) on her behalf. When she had asked to speak with Cole and tried contacting him, she never received communication. The only communication was phone calls between this Uhaul manager Durell and Cole. Durell (The Uhaul manager) had kept telling my mom (who is on a tight budget as am I after paying to move her out here for her health) "It's going to cost what it costs". When she kept asking to speak with Cole regarding a quote she never received one. Durell had only said out of frustration it would be $360. This we can make work. She had showed up to meet the movers and had to leave because she was ill. Later she was told she cannot have access to her belongings in the storage unit until she pays this bill which is now somehow almost 4x the $360. Which we assume only from what she was told AFTER about their pricing. There is very obviously no communication as Cole still does not even have a correct email address for her after she told Uhaul and after I told it to a supervisor at corporate. Cole said he never quoted the $360 as they are independent contractors. Which is 100% true. So why did he have zero contact with us until he wanted to collect? There is NOTHING in writing, no contact and no contract. We have been given 5 days to pay this absurd amount or are charged $100 a week until we do. I work in an industry where everything should be in writing. With this said our only forms of future communication will be through writing and I am in contact with a lawyer now because I do not agree with how this "transaction" was handled. I do believe they have done right by many people, however, taking advantage of a sick woman, lacking money is WRONG. I will fight this along side of her. read more

We had a good experience the first time we used them as we booked them through a third party website (may have been Pods or Uhaul). They did a great job loading the pods and they told us to just book them directly when we needed to unload the pods as it would be cheaper. Guess what, it cost us nearly twice as much. Cole gave a quote and said there would "possibly" be a $150-200 fee to move the fridge. We ended up getting charged $100/piece for fridge, washer, and dryer. When I texted Cole that that was not what we discussed I got no reply. Called him to discuss and was told he was on vacation. Never heard back. Sent multiple texts with no response after two weeks. Really wanted to give these guys 5 stars but based on this most recent experience I would not recommend them to anyone, which is unfortunate. read more

To begin, you have to understand some background information. We packed up our apartment and had it moved by a so-called professional moving company, while our storage was packed into a Packrat pod and brought to Colorado. Unlike California, there are no laborers available at Lowe's, Home Depot, or U-Haul. We booked Epic Movers through U-Haul's website, which I believe was Moving Help. Packrat delivered our pod within 24hrs of contact, while the moving company that charged us $7,500 for a quoted move of $1,700 and now wants $500 at delivery and has subcontracted our delivery all without letting us know, amending our insurance, or providing the driver with our address. Now back to Epic... Zach and Cody were beyond awesome. They showed on-time, were extremely careful with our stuff, and were happy to place or replace our boxes, etc. in any area we asked. They were efficient and made out move-in much easier than could have been expected. We have suggested several people to utilize these guys since they left us and we have already agreed to contract them again (when we are ready to move) whether it be their own truck or multiple pods. They were well worth the cost AND we made sure they understood our gratitude in offers of beverages and a nice tip when they were finished. I can't recommend Epic enough...If you go somewhere else you are doing yourself and your possessions a great disservice!!! read more

We've relocated often due to work and know that things don't always go perfectly when moving. This was the WORST experience by FAR. After quite a while of loading the truck, I was informed that not all of the outdoor furniture would fit. I was asked to choose a portion that wouldn't go. I was disappointed, but made the choice. An hour or so later when I checked on progress, I saw a nearly full truck, a number of items still not loaded and none of the outdoor furniture loaded. I was told that I had to choose. They were leaving shortly and not everything would fit. I asked what would happen with the things not loaded, how they would get those moved to our new home out of state. They apologized and said they would have to deal with it after the loaded truck of things was delivered. To make a long and painful story short, they bailed on us. They left behind all of the outdoor furniture which included a dining table, 6 dining chairs, 2 outdoor captains chairs and foot stools, a 2-person glider rocker, a serving table and an end table. Besides the outdoor furniture they didn't move a large artificial tree, garage storage items, a generator, and numerous other items from the garage. They didn't miss on estimating the size of the load by a little bit; they missed by a lot. As to what they did move, there were a number of items delivered with significant scratches or gouges. Some floor lamps were completely unusable. Despite many phone calls and offers to meet them in person to work out a satisfactory outcome, they would not engage. It takes two to work things out. They blamed us for everything, including having too much stuff. (Keep in mind, they did a walk-through to see how much stuff was there.) Eventually, we wound up just writing this off to a bad learning experience. I had hoped to be able to help, what appeared to be, a couple of energetic, nice young men build their business. Now, I can only let others know - BUYER BEWARE! Their attitude seems great and they seem so polite, but they don't take responsibility for their shortcomings. read more

Zach and Joey were wonderful! They were timely, efficient, respectful, and personable. We rented a U-Haul truck for 6 hours and had them help out for 2 of those hours with moving the heavy stuff. They loaded the truck, I drove the truck to the new house and they followed behind in their car, and then they unloaded the truck. They prioritized the items we requested, and were even able to move additional items in the allotted 2 hours. They were very respectful of our new home, going so far as to take the long route to our front door in order to avoid our new sod. There wasn't a single scratch on everything, and all items ended up in correct locations/rooms within the house. And on top of all that, they were personable. This was the worst experience I have ever had with movers. First we were charged $150/hour while they took 2 hours to pick up a uhaul. Three guys came to move our house (no masks in the middle of covid). We left them there after giving them a run down of what needed to be brought and what didn't. We went to the new house when they were about finished to get the dogs there and figure out where everything would go. When we got back there they wreaked of alcohol, almost dropped our gun safe. Then we find out the left many belongings we specifically told them to bring and they did not close the garage door. I was hesitant to write this review as my preference is to work things out directly and not share the laundry publicly. Unfortunately it requires both parties to resolve an issue. In June my wife and I had contacted several movers and received three estimates. Each estimate included the additional/optional expenses for heavy items, stretch wrap and number of men. In the end we selected Epic Movers (July 19th) based on the recommendation of a trusted friend and the quality reviews in the Yelp community. Upon arrival it was evident the four man team was not prepared and started slow, mostly following each other and watching the experienced mover haul and load items onto the truck. After an brief break for setting expectations and a few words of encouragement the work effort improved. It was clear this was largely a team with very little experience outside of the lead. They had no concept for loading the 28ft. box truck to maximize space, secure the load and protect our property. This experience was as much a 6.5 hour training exercise as it was a move. The off-load went quickly and the team was helpful in placing them items where directed. As we began the process of inspecting our furniture we started to notice significant damage to our dining room, master bedroom and office furniture. We immediately contacted Nick and detailed the damages and was told to send him pictures. He then went dark, no return calls, no emails, no texts... no reply after numerous attempts. We informed our friend who made the recommendation and when she called he picked up. He told her that we did not select the option for moving blankets and as such any damage was our responsibility. Are you kidding me? Option on moving blankets? The crew had 25-35 moving blankets, used them all and could have used 10-20 more. This was a clear effort to deflect responsibility in the hope of avoiding a claim. During the selection process I was told they have liability insurance coverage but cannot get a copy of the policy and was also told they have someone who can make repairs if needed....but again no communication. As small business owners, my wife and I understand the importance of meeting and/or exceeding client expectations and consistent communications are keys to long term success. Based on our experience we highly recommend you look elsewhere for your moving service needs as Epic Movers is not likely to survive given their disregard for clients personal property and satisfaction. read more
