Solid choice if you are looking for help moving. I was looking for some help moving on a bit of short notice. Went from a second floor unit with a 3rd floor loft into a 3 story home 2mo down the road and A Simple move came to the rescue. Didn't have much but what I did have was heavy and they came in and knocked it out. Price was affordable and the 3 man team they sent was very polite and professional. Would definitely recommend if you are in need. read more

After checking a few places we decided on A Simple Move because they specifically mentioned piano moving. We needed to get my piano and my daughter's wheel and kiln, shelf unit and 30 year old doll house to her house. AJ, Aubrey and Sonny showed up to move those heavy and fragile items. They were very careful and actually recommended we take the doll house in our truck to make sure it didn't get damaged - but they loaded and unloaded it for us. All three of the guys treated our items with care and were very nice. I would use A Simple Move again and ask for them specifically. UPDATE: The moving part went well but when I went downstairs last night I noticed that the slate tile floor was damaged where the piano had been dragged around to face the stairs - instead of lifted. (see pictures) There is even one tile that is completely cracked. I don't know what it will take to fix it but we'll be working to find that out. Also - I will have to go look at the legs of the piano to see if there was any damage there. The guys seemed to be so careful with everything that this surprised me - but it's clear to see what happened and that's disappointing. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I hired a four-man crew to get my fiancée and I into our new home. These gentlemen were quick, efficient, professional, and friendly. They even went above and beyond to help move some furniture that was already at our new home that I had just planned to move myself. Incredible service at an affordable price. This was my second move with A Simple Move, and while I don't expect to be moving again for quite some time, when that day comes, they'll be my first call. read more

I hired A Simple Move again for a local move. They did excellent job; moving quickly and caring for my stuff. Their price is very reasonable. These guys are awesome people! I highly recommend them for your next move. read more

Dwayne and Sonny moved a large all wooden desk from a home to an upstairs office for the Aurora Eagles Auxiliary. It was a small move that most companies would have bypassed. Dwayne was terrific and so easy to work with. He accommodated my ever changing schedule as well as the schedules of all parties Once they arrived, they were both extremely professional, their experience was evident and they got the desk assembled in minutes. I highly recommend A Simple Move & will use them again. read more

I have been using A Simple Move out of Aurora Colorado for around 8-10 years now. We call about every 2 years for help (I think today was my 5th or 6th time using them). It is always to move heavy things from upstairs to downstairs, vice versa or to take things to good will. If we ever move from this home, you can bet I will ONLY be calling them!! They are amazing. And I have met a couple of their different crews. Sometimes the owner is in the crew. Sometimes not. But the guys are always gentle, careful, thorough and smart. They never mind if I ask them to avoid certain pathways. They are ALWAYS gentlemen. ALWAYS. Today was my most recent move. I am more impressed EVERYTIME they come to my home. As always, thank you guys for taking such pride in your work and taking such great care of my home, and my walls, and my banister, and my family photos etc.!. You guys are the real deal. Sincerely, Glenn & Amy. read more

Three GREAT gentlemen, moved my 90 year old mom into an apartment From a 3 bedroom house. These guys arrived on time, telephoned they were on their way too. They wrapped mom's antique furniture in blankets and plastic wrap. They even moved the guest room furniture into the master for "staging". They were courteous and respectful at the adult living space. They had some heavy, well built 1940 wood furniture to move. No scratches,No dents, etc. Our husbands were SO grateful for these gentlemen. Can't thank you enough and will be very happy to recommed this team. Dwayne great with scheduling, following up, etc. Thanks for making a strenuous time SO MUCH easier. Great price. Well, worth it. Great team, so personable and trusting. In your debt, Laurie Foster and family. read more

I've used A Simple Move about 3 times in the last year. First with a full house move which I received a reasonable GTNE (I had to push for it). Then when I remodeled the kitchen/living room they came back out. Very friendly staff, always got the job done. I also enjoyed talking to Dwayne - a direct individual but friendly. If I ever need help moving something heavy, A simple move is easy to keep on my speed dial. read more

Dwayne & A.J. were great to work with as was their crew. Pricing was good & fair. Recommend highly.

I cannot recommend Dwayne & his team enough! We needed assistance with a local move & A Simple Move came highly recommended. We booked fairly last minute, but Dwayne was very informative, and even offered us a service fee discount for booking the same day! I loved how transparent the pricing was, plus the entire crew was very efficient& professional. If I ever move again, I know exactly who to call! Thanks y'all! read more

What a great experience I had with A Simple Move. I moved from a 3700 sq ft house to a very small 1 bedroom/with a den sr Living apartment. They helped me with boxes and packing as well as the move. The guys were all very kind and the price was a surprise to me considering all they had to move. If you are thinking of moving give them a call. read more

Dwayne, AJ and Sunny from A Simple Move were an answer to our prayers. We ordered a single 16' POD to move our belongs across country. We had reduced our belongs but we were still worried that what we had left would not fit. We spent the entire night before worrying and planning to put a third of our stuff in storage to return for later. These three gentlemen arrived and not only fit everything but had room to spare. They handled everything with care, were extremely polite and friendly. We highly recommended A Simple Move at twice the price. read more

Lots of damage to both properties to include loss of apartment deposit. Underestimated costs by nearly $1K. Said it was a four hour pack and two hour unpack but was 12 hours for both. They did a pre survey yet blamed me for having too much to move. read more

A Simple Move is the best way to describe our moving day. Dwayne, Aubrey and the team were responsive, informative and punctual during the entire process. Dwayne responded quickly with our quote and answered any questions via the Yelp app. We secured our moving date by phone, confirmed via Yelp message. Aubrey called morning of to let us know he and his team were on the way. We hired a 5 person team for our move. Everyone was super friendly and gentle with our items. The team was efficient moving boxes very quickly. Around an hour to move boxes for 3bd/2ba house with no garage. We had a tricky treadmill to move out of the house and the team worked together to figure out a solution, which took a bit more time. Moving in was great too. The team helped us hook up the washer and dryer unit. And moved all of our items to their designated locations. Overall our move was around 4 hours. Great team and good service. Thanks, Dwayne and team! P.S - Shoutout to the team for bringing back our treadmill bolts. Huge thank you! read more

Dewayne was wonderful and so easy to work with. He answered immediately, got us scheduled within a few days, and made our move so easy. He and his colleagues are professional and hard working, were polite and flexible and willing to go above and beyond-asking if there were other things they could help with and ensuring we got everything out we needed. We appreciated them so much, we've scheduled them for our larger move in a few weeks. Fairly priced, dependable and polite. Can't recommend them enough! read more

We were very lucky to be able to find A Simple Move and they were extremely helpful! Our original movers no showed us (even with confirming earlier in the week) and we had a 26 foot truck to unload in front of our new home within a day or two before the truck was due back. We were frustrated and overwhelmed with the situation and that's where A Simple Move stepped in. I called Dwayne and he was very responsive, being available on the first call as well as letting me know that I would have a quote back shortly. Within the hour I had a quote and within two hours of originally calling we had movers arrive at our new home. The movers were awesome (thanks Aubrey, Sonny, and AP!) as well as friendly, polite, and professional. With only a day before the truck was due back, we knew it was a last minute request, but A Simple Move was very professional and responsive. Their moving rates were also quite reasonable. The movers helped us unload our truck quickly and efficiently, as well as helped to load our extra things into a storage unit a few miles away. We couldn't have completed our move without them and we are so grateful and thankful for their help! A Simple Move is very highly rated for a reason and we really appreciate the company and the movers for going above and beyond when our original movers did not show up. Thanks again! read more

I was nervous about moving, it's a huge task! I was on the 7th floor. I did my homework got several bids & selected A Simple Move. They showed up on time & moved me so efficient fast & professionally... I will refer them to anyone! read more

Dewayne and Sonny were the best movers. Called them last minute and they showed up early too. They took the treadmill and weight set upstairs and had everything off the truck in no time. I was waiting for the movers to show up, and then called them to when they were late. I was really freaked out, imagining the worst. Dwayne immediately reassured me, telling me he was going to be there. He then realized that he had made a mistake when booking me. After that, he showed up quickly, apologized, told me he would take good care of me and started working on my move. We're all human and can make mistakes, but Dwayne and his company are cut from a different caliber that own up to a mistake and then rise above. On top of this they were very careful with my furniture. I highly recommend this locally owned small business that deserves all the success they can handle. read more

mere mortals? or gods amongst men? these gentleman strode in through the gates of Valhalla to execute our move with mythical efficiency and precision, the likes of which have never been seen. They arrived on-time, took one look around and confidently stated we were in good hands and ready to go. the truck was loaded quickly and we were en route to our new house just a few short hours after their arrival. On our move day, there were at least 3 other groups moving out of our building, some with the big "national moving companies" and I will tell you they pale in comparison to a Simple Move. each of these guys with A Simple Move is worth 3 movers from the "other" companies, making quick work of what would take others many hours to accomplish. start to finish our move went smoothly and my 9-month pregnant wife was back resting in our fully assembled bed mere hours after our move began. I will forever be hiring a Simple Move for all of my future needs. If you want it done right, fast, and fair, then hire these legends. read more

We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Dwayne and A Simple Move. Our Move-Out location was a complicated situation and we ended up having more items than we thought, it didn't phase Dwayne at all and he brought in more movers to get the job handled unbelievably quick. His price was better than all the competition and the quality was top notch. Everyone was friendly and professional. We wouldn't even need to get quotes for our next move, we would just call Dwayne. A Simple Move were fantastic! They did a fantastic job, were personable and efficient. Would certainly hire them again!

A Simple Move was fantastic. We used them to unload two 16' pods. Dwayne answered all my questions prior to the job. It took 4 guys just about 4 hours to complete the job. When they weren't sure where things needed to go they asked. If an item was put in the wrong place they moved it. They will assemble any furniture that you need put together. He and his entire team were professional, reliable, organized, on time and the actual cost was slightly less the estimate quoted. I highly recommend them for your moving needs. read more

Sir Nicholas and I have moved a lot over the past 2 years - Denver to LA, LA to SF, and now SF back home to Denver (hooray!!) - and so we have experienced a lot of movers during that time. As we drove halfway across the country we started talking about how all of our movers had actually been pretty awesome, which truthfully wasn't something we expected when we had hired our very first set of movers. We had heard the horror stories about broken stuff, stolen stuff, tardiness, etc., etc. and so that made us concerned. But after a half a dozen moves I can happily say I never experienced any of that bad stuff and the fellows from A Simple Move were no exception to this rule. Prompt and friendly, our two movers showed up with a pair of gloves and very strong muscles and proceeded to move all of our belongings to our 3rd floor apartment. It took about 3 hours from start to finish and the price was very reasonable in my mind. Setting up an appointment to have the movers come is super easy - just a quick phone call will do it. And the guys called me the day before our actual move in to confirm all the details. I'm crossing my fingers that I won't need movers for a good, long while, but if I do I'd definitely call A Simple Move again in a heartbeat. read more

First of all, I want to say that the two guys who were on my job full time were great. I watched one of them pick up three small boxes packed full of hardcover books and carry it out like it was nothing. Those men worked their butts off. There were some problems with supervision. They showed up about a half hour after the latest time in their start window, and I had stressed the need for an early start time since there is only one elevator in my apartment - the earlier we could start, the less competition for the elevator. Since I was paying the downtown fee, the early start time was important to me, which I'd repeatedly noted. Money down the drain. Anyway, when they did show up the team leader said they'd brought three guys rather than the two I'd requested - did I want to up to a three man/hour job? Sure, I said, if it'll get done faster. Oops. Well, two of them still did all the work. I found out later that the third, the team leader had been working until 3am the morning before. I never saw him do a thing - he stayed in the truck the entire time. To ASM's credit, they did eventually bring in someone else to take his place. It probably wasn't anyone's fault really, just an unfortunate situation - but, I'm the one who ended up paying for it. Finally, the move in took about one hour, while the move out took about THREE. Nothing was dropped off on the way (5 minute drive), and waiting for the elevator doesn't take that long. On the way to my new place, they also were flagged over by someone on the street who was jumping up and down pointing at the back of the truck. They were following me, so I couldn't see what had happened... when I asked, they said "Oh, I think a dolly fell off or something." I still don't know what I might have lost, and no one would give me a direct answer about what happened. They read these, so maybe they'll let me know what was apparent enough that a skater waved them down. Anyway, my bill was $450 to move a 2 bedroom apartment about 12 blocks - lots of boxes. read more

A NOT-SO-SIMPLE MOVE BUYER BEWARE: you pay to have ASM come to your house, pick things up, and put them down elsewhere. You DO NOT get a guarantee that they'll do it without damaging the items. That is, unless you pay $300 extra for their "insurance." Their movers dropped one piece of a very expensive five piece bunk bed set so that the top bunk could no longer be used. They additionally put holes and scratches in the walls of both the new and old places. When I called and spoke to Dwayne about the damage, he admitted he'd put the wrong crew together (one of them had been on the job three days). When I told him how much it would cost to replace the damaged piece, his reply was, "I'm not paying that. I'm only liable for .60 per pound." So, he was only willing to pay $60 for an $800 piece. The argument over compensation for the damaged furniture went on for three days before I finally gave up. Dwayne stonewalled, and his co-owner (I don't recall her name) didn't get back to me until I'd already contacted my bank. To be fair, they did have a handyman come and repair the damage to the buildings right away. It's also possible that the lady might have made things right, but given how slowly they were working on the problem (Dwayne was downright rude and bullheaded throughout the ordeal), we had no choice but to move on (our son had been sleeping on the floor for three nights already). Bottom line: if you hire ASM, be prepared to spend an extra $300 ON TOP OF your move to actually ensure it's done safely. A damage-free move isn't included in their base cost. read more

Really quick and efficient! Unloaded a full pod at our new home and didn't leave a mark on the walls. Highly recommend!

What GREAT SERVICE which Dwayne and his team offer. On-time, respectable, affordable, and always willing to go the extra mile to do get the job done. We scheduled two separate days of an in-home move of furniture for the installation of a new carpet. I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently they worked to complete the tasks with care. We have already expressed interest in their return for another project coming up in February 2021 time frame. So book them now or we will keep them busy. Preston and Mia T. read more

Very professional and great service! Would highly recommend A Simple Move to any one looking for a smooth, speedy, and trustworthy service!!

Two reasons I didn't give them a 5. 1. The third guy had no sense of urgency and was picking up small boxes I had packed and could move myself. I asked him twice to move bigger, heavier items and furniture. 2. My road bike came out of the move with paint scrapes, a few small chunks of wood were taken out of my bedroom furniture, and my office chair was scraped up. While they didn't damage my new home or the apartment I moved out of, my belongings were not as safe and secure on the truck and during unloading as I was promised. Overall: Dwayne helped me in a pinch when my other moving arrangements fell through, which I'm grateful for, but I'd use a different company next time. Third guy was useless, and I was assured my belongings would be handled with utmost care and that just didn't happen. For spending over $500 on movers I expected more. read more

Dwayne and his crew did an amazing and extremely efficient 2 stage move for us (move into storage for a month then storage to final destination)! I was impressed with how fast they worked and the care they took with all the furniture. Since the furniture was going into storage, they took great care to wrap all the sofa, tables, chairs, bookcase, etc! I would definitely use their service again. read more

Unfortunately, our experience with A Simple Move does not reflect the general consensus of everyone else on Yelp. I suspect it may be an isolated incident, but it is worth reporting. We opted for a crew of three. Two of the guys on the crew were great (really great, actually), but it only takes one to biff the whole thing. Mover #3 showed up and immediately announced that he needed to use the bathroom. We were moving out of a storage unit and into a house, so the bathroom wasn't exactly around the corner. I ended up paying for his 30-45 minute quest to relieve himself, so really only got two movers for a while. The bright spot of the move was the movers #1 and #2 offered to move our piano, which we were originally planning to do with a piano moving company. That was nice. However, it all goes downhill from here. First off, my toolbox went missing. Probably an honest mistake, since the movers also brought their own tools, but mine was clearly marked with my name in big black letters. If you've ever moved into a house without a hammer, screwdriver, wrenches, or hundreds of other things you've amassed over the years, you'll know how annoying this is, both in terms of money and time. No amount of calling around afterwards has ever located my toolbox. I'm sure it's sitting on a moving truck somewhere. And worst of all, the movers seemed to have an affinity to ding up every expensive piece of furniture we own. That's right. The IKEA and AFW stuff arrived white-glove-style, but everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) from Room and Board or Crate & Barrel was dinged, dented and crushed. We did report the damage, and the movers paid up per the contract, but we ended up having to decide whether to file a second claim through our homeowners insurance, or pay out of pocket to have everything repaired. Several months later, our furniture has all been repaired, so we're finally able to live in our house as originally intended. Ask my wife about how she liked the plastic tubs we had to use for nightstands in the interim! read more
