As I walked around, one of the associates asked if I was doing okay and to let her know if I had any questions or need any help. She checked on me again as I walked back around later. I really appreciated that. There were a lot of shoes in the clearance section, but nothing that piqued my interest. I did end up finding a cute pair of ankle booties that fit pretty comfortably. The cashier raved about the Baretraps brand, and said they're very comfortable and that I am going to love them. Reviews like that really help, especially with boots. I used to buy only Nike brand shoes; however, a few years ago I tried the Asics "Gel" type running shoe suggested by a salesman, and I was hooked! No other shoe has felt so, "customized and comfortable". My workouts are more on the aerobic/calorie burning side with light strength training, and occasional cross country runs. This shoe works great for everything! I Googled "Asics" and found this outlet location. It used to be that outlet stores offered better pricing; I can't say that was the case here. What was nice, is they had a ton of different styles on hand. I'm +SO TIRED+ of going to a store only to hear a salesperson say, "Try our online store, they carry more styles/options." I get the whole, "inventory tax thing" but get with it people! What's the point of having a "brick-and-mortar location" if you don't offer the variety you advertise!?!? I believe the key advantage of an outlet store now is, that you can buy more of their product offerings in person per visit. You don't have to bother going to their website and waiting for your item to arrive. During my visit, a courteous salesman helped me with a new pair of "GEL-Nimbus 21" Mens Running Shoes and I was off. The service was great and the store was clean; I shall return if I'm still in the area when I need new running shoes. I recommend this outlet location to everyone - a solid 5 stars!
