What's left over of Hot Fudge Kahlua Brownie

Came the first time, couldn't wait 30 minutes wait time. Came the next day, still 30 minute wait time. Decided to wait. I was in the mood for bbq. Friendly, got us our appetizer which was the salmon spread. It was a meal to it self. Lots of chunks of salmon, creamy and rich, the toast was delicious . I had the pulled pork and my wife had the salmon. We both enjoyed our dinner and the chili was mild with a slight hint of sweetness.. The place was busy with a fast turnover and management surprised us with brownie for our 50th anniversary

Every thing was delicious fresh hot and tender ribs and rib tips which are hard to get right unless you know what you are doing even the sides Staff super friendly and helpful great service well lit and worth the trip and very reasonable priced. Great atmosphere.

Great food, service and atmosphere! We wanted a small plate for lunch and they had exactly what we needed! I had the St-Louis style spare ribs and they were great!

Just arrived restaurant is closing soon. We hangry and trying to get some hot food. We walked in the establishment and asked for to go menu and was escorted outside (by staff) to the to go window! I was surprised to walk back outside on the other side of store. It's really a outside walk up window and the menu is clearly lit up for you to place order. I'm only giving 3 stars as we are waiting for the food at the moment. When I take a moment to eat I'll let you know if it's better than 3 stars. They also offer a 10% military discount which is nice. We order the pick 3 combo as in pick three meats (barbecue chicken, chopped pork, catfish) 2 sides and cornbread. I'm so hoping it's good so I can come back and give them 5 stars.. I'll let you know. Oh yeah it's conveniently located on the strip hwy 67.

This is my favorite restaurant here in Branson, every-time I've visited, Famous Dave's has been a go to, serving come back plates, from the meats, to sides, sauces, & those pickles!! We came at the last hour of service for dinner, Sydney was our server, and really went above and beyond waitressing. She had the best spirit and attitude and made us feel like we were her 1st guest, and not that last table. She was so informative and excited as she talked about the menu, and recipes. Food was sooo good I absolutely love the Mac n cheese it has jalapeños and corn in it, so very uncommon, but unique and good asf , definitely a must try. The beans are soo good and flavor on point. I tried the loaded potato with pork. It was good but not a-lot of meat tho! They had pink pig hats for the kids to color and keep them busy. Overall great restaurant and wish we had one in St Louis

One of the best experiences I have ever had at any restaurant! Ingrid was a spectacular waitress who offered samples of several items and made us feel at home like we were at a country diner. Daks at the front desk was so friendly and loves everything on the menu! The manager came by several times to check on us. This was our first time at Famous Dave's and I couldn't have expected such a wonderfully memorable time. I liked the sunny environment with comfortable booths and windows everywhere. The cornbread muffins were really great and the wings and BBQ sauce were good enough to come back for. You can get good food just about anywhere but you can't get good service like we had today. Whoever is hiring there knows what they are doing! Thank you!!

Beware the rib tips. They're fatty with much connective tissue. Pickles are sweet, not hot. Prefer dill picles.

First time to Missouri and Branson area, wanted to try some bbq. Overall the experience was okay…read more Initial impression, you walk in and order food at a counter before finding a seat and they bring you your order. Guy at the ordering counter was okay... He answered my questions about the food, albeit with a soft voice for such a loud/busy location. He just lacked any welcoming spirit, and did not give any effort to sell the food. It's our first time at the location and I clearly was having trouble navigating their huge menu, but it was more of what do you want, yes/no. Food: Fried catfish 5/5: crispy, light, well seasoned. Definitely the highlight of the food we ordered Brisket 2.5/5: we ordered a pound, portion was good size, but overall it was pretty dry. With enough bbq sauce it was passable. Ribs 1/5: weakest point of the food. Dry, almost tasteless, chewy. Not sure if we just caught them at the end of the day because we went for dinner but the meats seemed old/dry. The ribs and brisket arrived maybe 5 minutes or less after we ordered it, which begs the question if it's freshness and quality which showed in the product taste. The catfish on the other hand took 10-15 minutes and came out hot and was clearly freshly fried , and again this translated to its quality. Service: the servers were fine. Polite, welcoming, helpful. Overall, the experience was disappointing. Earlier in the trip we visited gettin basted and it's clear why they won awards for their bbq. On top of that, the experience was much more welcoming and warm.

TEXAN here & frequent visitor to TX Top 50 BBQ (TX Monthly updates every 4 yrs), which as you know…read moreis the king of the cuisine. I'm certain I've the experience to know what good BBQ is & isn't. And, boy howdy, this IS! Without a doubt, if Old 76 were in TX, they'd easily be on that coveted list of world renowned BBQ joints. That's truthfully rare to find outside the state. Situated exactly between Branson & West Branson, is this gem that's clean cut & the BBQ, sides too, is superbly executed. I'm not saying stuff to sound good. This is L E G I T, the real deal. They're pushing TRUE barbecue as it ought to be, not like some wannabe. I dare you to try any other place & find the same superb quality for ALL aspects. Get there before opening because the line gets long fast & the ordering takes time. There's limited seating that fills up quickly. I only wish it were larger in space & had the capacity for more help in front than 1 person. But for modestly using the limited space adjacent to a gas station, it's tastefully & professionally decorated & comfortable, just right for what it is, as opposed to the tacky, out-dated & sparse, or overdone interior that one tends to see elsewhere. Waiting for BBQ is honestly an experience & you must be prepared to wait your turn. That's how it is in TX for all the joints, folks ordering FCFS after waiting patiently in line for hours until sell-out. It's worth waiting on & building camaraderie with those about you. After all, you're about to celebrate gastronomically, I promise! Best sides: ALL of them but especially the corn casserole. You'd think it's vegetable bread pudding, it's so scrumptious!! Beans are no less than fantastic with bits of brisket - so warm & comforting. Potato salad is just a massive winner of full-mouthed goodness that's not typically mayo-ed down. Don't pass up the mighty fine coleslaw for topping your pulled-pork, pickles & bread for a highlight finish. Speaking of pickles, add more as a great acidic accompaniment. The sauce here is on the sweet side. It's really not needed AT ALL except to occasionally boost the flavor kick if taking leftovers for later. The meat's simple pepper & salt crust is all you need. & speaking of the Meats: Truly the star of the show as they should be. See the platter photo for yourself. Pick of choice or prime brisket. Prime for us. We could've appreciated a little bit thicker of a smoke ring but it was there despite the fast cook it probably endured. It needed to be a little less done on the fatty side but it was awfully tender anyway. Absolutely a winner brisket done right, so I can sweat the small stuff. All said, the perfect seasoning & bark set the tone & to me for brisket, that is most important. 99% perfect. Chicken: dark meat extra peppery & almost overdone but the white meat was super tender & nice to eat. It doesn't take away from the whole goodness of the platter though. Bologna: these ain't no lame Oscar Meyer store bought flappers. Talk about thickly cut, juicy heaven! Wow is all I can say - absolutely YUMMY. Pulled Pork: P I G G Y P E R F E C T. Don't even need sauce! Use the pillowy potato bread to die & go to taste bud heaven with rivers of salivation. This is so succulent, you might keep it all for yourself in a group setting. Ribs: BEST OF SHOW. These are guaranteed to be the best ribs in MO. Perfect pull & bite. 2 stacks of the thick bone-in pig walls left me amazed after just seeing the miraculous color & cook on the exterior of these spares. Their taste & texture solidified that Old 76 Smokehouse is the most bona fide BBQ joint I've ever been to in the Midwest. These ribs aren't somewhat good enough, they are majestic. My only wish is they'd had a beef rib aka meat candy option too. Desserts: both Bread Pudding & Key Lime Pie are highlights not to be missed. Stacked tall & the absolute righteous finish to seal the deal for such an experience. I just can't say enough good things about Old 76. Loved it so much, our 5-guy party bought shirts & a hat to wear in TX & TN. If this was local for us, "O76S" would be a frequent stop. We're BIG fans now. Last but not least, the gentleman working the show & taking orders was kinder than Jesus. He treated us right, & that's a fact. Talk about hospitality to the Nth degree. Ain't nobody going to be sad about that & we'll remember this kindness in anticipation of being right back ASAP! What we couldn't stuff ourselves above the gullet, we took home & all the girls promptly & heartily finished it off exclaiming how wonderful it was. They only missed out on the experience but not the tenderness & flavor!! Visitors & locals alike, DO NOT MISS this opportunity to dine like a king!! You will have died & gone to Texas, I mean heaven! One con & warning: if you don't have a truck with ample under-carriage space, avoid the furthest drive-way next to the fence. It is too steep & you WILL run aground, as we did. Enter & exit on the gas station side only.

We settled on a fried pork tenderloin and a single burger. The food was excellent, freshly prepared, and piping hot upon arrival. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The drinks are self-serve but members of the staff asked if I'd like a refill and did the running for me. They even brought me a "to-go" cup when we finished our meal. It was very comfortable and quiet during our visit but with a full dining room it has the potential to be a bit noisier. With a live band, it could be more than a bit louder. Tips: Head to the back and browse the vendor booths on the way. Expect to make some compromise decisions. You can't eat everything at one visit. On the way out buy something and support a local vendor. The building's purpose to give local vendors a place to sell. No vendors will cause the grill's rent to skyrocket.

Me and my buddy decided to visit Branson for a movie and we decided to stop in at a random place to…read moreeat. We decided on Crazy Craig's treehouse, one that looked like cozy simple affordable food. Upon walking into the establishment, we discovered that the parking lot is a tight entry with the infamous Branson hills. The exterior was appealing and cool to look at yet the interior was cramped and barely any room to sit. They did have a nice area to sit upstairs though the pool table upstairs didn't contain the ball rack and the table was incredibly dirty/unmaintained. Moving onto the service. We were told to sit anywhere and someone would come and check on us, it was several minutes before someone came to check what we wanted with little to no business going on. However they were nice so that was a nice plus. The pricing for this place is a little overpriced for the simple food menu they have. We paid 10 dollars for chips and queso and the serving size that was on the platter was barely enough to feed us both. Our main entrees were easily 15 dollars a plate and not to mention that it took quite a lot of time for everything to come out. The overall taste of the food/drinks were very disappointing. My Dr Pepper was extremely flat no matter a refill or not, the chips were stale, and the queso tasted like fake cheese (only cheese I can compare it to is lunchables). My chicken sandwich I ordered was incredibly subpar: especially since when I pay 15 dollars for a sandwich I want a patty and not two chicken tenders plastered on a bun. Especially the pepper jack cheese on my tender sandwich had absolutely no spice which made me believe it was fake cheese as well. Even the pepper from the shaker only had a hint of the taste of pepper. The worst experience in this first and last visit was the fact that the pepper sauce (hot sauce) was all expired. Our tables sauce had expired on July 2025! I checked other tables and only one of the tables had a September 2027 date the rest had May 2025. So I didn't use any condiments on my food which overall ruined my meal. The only truly good food product I had was the French fries so if you go here just order the fries from the appetizer section and seeing how they are a bar as well: drink while you're here because you will need it to get through main entrees. Overall: friendly slow service, bad food, bad soda, and tight space and parking lot. Not worth your time!
