Our server Abby and the rest of the staff were very friendly and gave great suggestions. We wanted to try a few things, so to start we split the heirloom tomato gazpacho soup and the bread and tallow. We also split the Dijon Herb Seared wild caught Alaskan salmon with garlic farro risotto, and a corn succotash, the kitchen was nice and split our entree for us. We also split the seasonal peach cobbler and we paired it with a Peach Lemongrass Old Fashion. Everything was so tasty we left stuffed definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.

We began the evening with a few cocktails and couldn't decide on just one first course, so we ordered both the Steak Tartare and the Bread & Tallow. These starters were easily the stars of the show--I favored the incredible tartare, while my wife absolutely loved the bread and tallow. For our main course, we shared the NY Strip, served with corn succotash, fine herb rice, and a house-made Cajun compound butter. I typically prefer a ribeye, and my wife usually goes for a filet, but this NY strip surprised us both! It was incredibly tender and juicy, and we absolutely loved it. The kitchen went the extra mile by splitting the dish for us in advance, and the steak was cooked to absolute perfection. While the entire plate was delicious, the succotash was an amazing standout. The staff was super attentive and welcoming, making our celebration feel genuinely special. We were told that the seasonal menu is changing in a couple of days, and we already can't wait to go back and see the new offerings. Highly recommend!

The restaurant definitely has an interesting vibe, and we were excited to try it. We made reservations and were seated in the speakeasy area, which was cool in concept, but it wasn't very intimate. We felt so far apart from each other that it took away from the date-night experience a little. The food was just okay for us. Several of the dishes seemed like they needed more salt or seasoning, and surprisingly, we ate more of the Hatch corn off the cob than we did our main courses. That corn was DELICIOUS. The highlight of the evening! Our waitress also seemed a little sidetracked throughout the evening and forgot a few things, which added to the overall experience. I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, we left feeling a little underwhelmed. The atmosphere is unique and definitely worth experiencing, but based on our visit, we had higher expectations.

We always leave happy, full, and we know another visit here is in our future. It's a mom-and-pop shop that's earned every bit of its loyal following--and they absolutely deserve your support. The vibe? Like family. We always dine in, and one of our favorite things is watching the owners greet regulars like old friends: "Hey, good to see you! How's your kid's soccer season going?" "We've missed you--haven't seen you in a while!" Or even, lol "See you next week!" It's that kind of place. And if you're grabbing takeout? They've got that down, too. I think more folks get to-go orders than dine in. They have a few modest tables and a small TV that plays something in the background. This place is the epitome of your favorite casual spot where you come back again and again and order your one favorite thing because it's just that good. Build your dream poke bowl. Whatever inspires you--go for it. In my humble opinion, this is still the best poke bowl in the OKC metro. We've tried others... but we always end up comparing them to this one. And honestly? Nothing beats it. So we stopped trying and just keep coming back here. I love to add the seaweed salad and all the sauces on mine. I go back and forth between 1/2 salad and rice or just rice as my poke base. The Salmon and tuna (along with all the other ingredients) always taste fresh. Come here. It's the perfect lunch or dinner on the go spot before your Target or Lowe's run, they're both nearby-that's what we do. Thanks, The One Cafe team. You know we love you. See you soon! July 2025
