I cannot believe I am just discovering this place. I love poke and I used to live in Atlanta and was able to eat it all the time. Since moving to Oklahoma, my options have been limited. I was craving poke today and remembered this place existed and decided to try it. It is an unassuming place with just a few tables and dim lighting. But, the lady who runs the place is super sweet and informative. I ordered a tuna and salmon poke bowl with pretty much everything on it and added seaweed salad and an extra scoop of tuna. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! In total, I think I paid around $21, but I got a traditional styrofoam Togo box full of food. Everything tasted so fresh! The fish wasn't fishy and tasted so good. I've never had a poke bowl before and I'm my first time was at this place. The establishment is small and clean and perfect for a quiet lunch in a calm atmosphere with friendly service. The bathrooms were really clean too which shows they care about cleanliness. And dang those bowls we got were freaking delicious!! The food was fresh and spicy and very filling. Oh my goodness... I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a decent poke spot here but this place definitely exceeded my expectations. Everything was so fresh. From the rice to the protein to the toppings! Only reason its not 5 stars for me is because I wish there were more options for toppings and I personally think seaweed salad shouldn't be an extra charge. I would love some masago as a topping but I may just be used to the Poke I had in Texas. My favorite topping is the fried onions, so delish. Make sure to ask for the avocado ots unless you don't mind warm avocado. They place it right on top of the hot fresh rice. Price is definitely steep. I always said I'd never pay more than $12 for poke and my total comes out to $15 here but it's definitely worth it. Very filling! So glad I have a go to Poke spot for my cravings. read more

This place will be added to my monthly rotation based on excellent quality and taste. They have a great selection of add-ins and I recommend getting most if not all of them. Pretty neat place to eat out if you ask me! The prices are reasonable and they work hard to deliver quality food while encouraging customers to share with social media for a small discount. I'm not a fan of the poke bowls and that is what they are notoriously known for. (My review is only for the poke bowls and my experience of the restaurant.) I prefer regular sushi rolls in general, and that is a personal preference. I did not finish my poke bowl, and it wasn't one of those things you can take to-go and eat the next day. It's like the chipotle of sushi because you can mix and match what you put into the bowl, minus the seaweed. You can go crazy with your selection and no selection is the wrong choice. I personally wasn't a big fan because I thought it was an undesirable flavor. I thought mine was too saucy, and damp. My husband skipped the sauce and his was too dry so he added soy sauce, which was just plain terrible. It reminded me of a leftover meal, which is when you have a bunch of leftovers at your house and you try to eat it all for dinner. That was probably why I couldn't learn to love it and hop on that poke bowl wagon. Regardless, the service was excellent and the restaurant had a warm and toasty feeling to it. If you share your food on social media they give you $1 off your meal. Pretty cool concept. Personally, I wouldn't come back here and would prefer to go out for sushi somewhere else, but if I did come back, I'd be up to try other entrees they have. I ate hear on Saturday late in the afternoon and tried for the first time a poke bowl. I ordered a Poke bowl with rice, avocado, salmon and tuna. I also asked for all the sides they had listed at the bottom such as original spicy sauce and edamame. I ate then left. Later that night I started feeling tired and hot, when I checked my temperature I had a low grade fever. I started getting chills, body aches and had a terrible headache. The next day Mother's Day, I woke up and my fever was gone, I had no more chills got up and took a shower. I tried to get ready for the day but I felt very weak and decided I couldn't do anything and went back to sleep until 1pm. When I woke up I had to run to the bathroom because I had other symptoms... you know what kind. I didn't eat anything all day Sunday. Well I may have eaten something small in the evening. Well it's 4am and I have spent most of my morning in the bathroom. I didn't want to write this review because I prefer to support small business but I got sick and it's been miserable. It's almost 7am and still spending it in the same room. Be careful. Those poke bowls are raw and if their not served properly then you get sick. read more

Give me good seafood for a fair price, and you've got my attention. Appeal to my sweet tooth as well in the form of crepes, and you've got my love and devotion. I am seriously thinking about making this place a must visit spot for me when I'm in Edmond, and there is so much more to the menu that I need to try out. I've never had Poke before, but man, this was a great place to start. For $11, you're getting a kind of small-ish bowl, but solid amount of seafood. (I came back and got the same thing to go. It seemed bigger but I'm not sure if that's just because it was spread out into a container, rather than a small bowl. You be the judge from the pictures posted.) I went with scallops and spicy tuna, and there had to be at least 20 scallops in there, with a generous scoop of tuna. I definitely recommend getting the scallops cooked, as it was a weird consistency for me. To each their own though. As far as toppings, I went with everything except cucumbers and ginger, and I think I'm going to continue doing that. The Strawberry Cheesecake crepe I had was amazing, and was a fantastic price. For about $5, you're getting a good size crepe stuffed with cream cheese or whatever filling you pick from the crepe options. My friend had the Turkey Avocado crepe. It didn't look all that amazing, but she said it was good. So I'll need to try some of the savory crepe options next time I'm back as well. I walked in Saturday afternoon. It was quiet, small and unpretentious. Little cafe tables, styrofoam cups and disposable plates and bowls. Still, looked very clean and crisp. I came for a poke bowl, and ordered a pretty traditional one: rice base, crab, tuna, salmon, masago, green onions, cucumber and ginger. It arrived quickly and was fabulous! Every ingredient was fresh and tasty. The "build your own" type poke menu allows for a very personalized bowl. Lots of combination possibilities. I'll definitely be back. The only pokebowl place in Edmond/OKC I have found and been to + fallen in love with! The bowls are $10 and $1 off if you show them a picture of your pokebowl posted to social media. It's a good-sized portion and if I'm really, really hungry then I can eat all of it in one sitting, otherwise I'll normally eat one pokebowl for two meals. So $10/$9 is a really great deal! You can choose between salad or rice as a base and options of salmon, spicy tuna, crab, masago, green onions, fried onions, and more add-ins. I highly recommend this place! I found Crepes on the menu... Even savory crepes. Intrigued I decided to order my sandwich with a crepe wrap. I ordered the signature "The One Club". They offer a variety of breads for their sandwiches including sourdough, wheat, and croissant. It came with a side of commercials made chips. I ordered mine without lettuce or tomatoes. The savory crepe was pleasantly mild in flavor with a soft texture enhanced by the carefully crisped outer layer. The copious amount of meats were fresh with good meaty flavor. The white cheese was creamy and mild. I was pleased with the offering... More so than I expected to be. The menu board offered multi-national selections. Do you know da way? Do you know about pokè? Fun fact, in Hawaiian pokè means "ocean fish" and in Japanese it actually means "diced raw fish." Just kidding I just made all of that up, I don't speak Hawaiian or Japanese and I have no idea what "pokè" means. But what I do know is that it is delicious and that you should try it if you like sushi / sashimi. This west coast / Cali food trend is making its way east and is present here in the metro at a few restaurants. Okay so I just looked it up and apparently the word pokè is Hawaiian and it means "to slice or cut." So there you go, you're welcome. ANYWAY, came here to this joint to try their poke bowls. THE SPOT Located in a small strip mall, there was ample parking. The interior was small but clean and the owners are very friendly. As we sat at our table several regular customers came in and were on a first name basis with the owners. So they got that mom and pop thing going on here, you know keepin' it real, keepin' it local and all that jazz. THE FOOD The SO ordered the chicken bacon ranch sandwich for $6.59 which comes with a bag of chips. I had a bite and it was tasty. Although side note for that price I prefer Firehouse Subs. For my pokè bowl, I ordered it on white rice but you can choose salad as your base instead if you want. I added onion, masago (red roe), green onion, original sauce, spicy sauce, and spicy mayo. Also got some pickled ginger and wasabi on the side. For no extra charge you can also add avacado, imitation crab, cucumber, edemame, fried onion, sesame seeds, and nori furikake. Pokè bowls here are $11. If you post a picture of your poke bowl to social media they give you a $1 off discount. Compared to the typical pokè bowls you will find in Hawaii, the salmon and tuna here were in decent sized chunks and tasted very flavorful and fresh. I would have liked a little more saltiness in their sauces which are sesame oil based but they were delicious nonetheless. The portion of rice was smaller than I was expecting but I don't eat large portions of food anyway so it wasn't an issue for me. But if you like a lot of food for your meals, this might be a little light for some. For $10 it is a little pricey for me but compared to the prices you will pay for a pokè bowl at the few mid-tier sit down Japanese restaurants that serve it here in the metro area, the price is pretty fair IMO.
