My dinner group and I made reservations yesterday for 615 at this little gem. I am all about supporting mom and pop restaurants and I generally don't do high end but on occasion, it's nice. When you go that route with an upscale restaurant, however, I tend to be disappointed. This place will not disappoint. They have customer service down to a fine art. Because of Covid, we had the whole restaurant to ourselves and it felt very intimate. It felt like we were celebrities! It was weird but cool!! We had the attention of the host, the waitstaff and the sommelier. They take care of you and have the knowledge to help you. For any of my followers that follow me, you know that I am on a very strict diet. But I just cannot go into a restaurant like this and ask for modifications. In places like this, food is art and I totally respect that so I chose to have one glass of wine and I tried to pick wisely. The sommelier and the host were very good about making a recommendation for me as far as a wine pairing. It was absolutely delicious and perfect. After we placed our order, they brought out bread. Homemade bread and homemade butter that was freaking amazing! They also brought out a lobster type of soup to try. We didn't order this they just wanted us to try it. I'm not a seafood person but it was really delicious. My salad was generous and delicious! Gorgeous, fresh lettuce with some kind of dressing that was heavenly. I chose the chicken because it seems like the safest fit for my diet. I also had the ratatouille because I've never had it before as a side. One bite of the chicken was probably the best chicken I've ever had. It was tender, juicy and actually flavorful. I know chicken is easy to cook but it's hard to cook and keep a lot of flavor.! The ratatouille was good, just not my thing. A few of us ordered dessert. There is a cream Brulé, the thing you set on fire and I had the chocolate sphere. It was all wonderful. Again service. They also brought out a dish of small desserts. Everyone deserves a treat every once in a while. Plan on spending your entire evening here, as we spent three hours here. It's how Europeans do it do yourself a service and spend an evening here. We got to meet the owner and chef and everybody was just a delight!

Elegant French dining in Edmond. Made reservations online and had an early dinner with my lovely wife. Service was pleasant. If you're going for something quick- probably not the spot for you. But if you're in for a nice, sit down dinner experience- this is a great choice. It wasn't busy on the night we went and we were seated in a semi private booth. The server asked us if we had a certain time that we needed to leave so they can pace the food accordingly. Thought that it was very considerate and surprisingly, we were done just a few minutes after the time we mentioned to him, partly because we ordered dessert. Placed our orders but before our starter even came out, they brought out olives, curried Madeleines, blue cheese macaroons and a cheese stuffed puff pastry ball. My wife's favorite was the madeleine but for me, the blue cheese macaron was amazing. It was a chilled, smooth and creamy filling in a perfect and lightly sweetened macaroon. After that, we were served a root vegetable purée with bacon fat cream on top. I forgot what vegetable it was. This was simple but packed with so much flavor. Our order started with half of the Duck foie-gras seared and served with port wine sauce, dates and white onion compote. We've had foie-gras before and weren't fans but wanted to give it another shot. Absolutely fantastic! For our main course, my wife had the Stuffed Dover Sole Fillet with a crawfish & morel mushroom stew. It was ok. The sauce on the fish was so creamy, buttery and salty that she really scraping her sauce off and spooning out my sauce. I actually liked her sauce. I had the Diver scallops seared with butter, green asparagus and speck, lemon cream pearled with arugula and pistachio praline. I love scallops and these definitely hit the spot for me - with the exception of the sauce. It was definitely the lemon cream sauce my wife is fond of. We just swapped sauces. :) The full portion is 3 scallops but it's the big scallops so with everything else, I found this to be filling. We also ordered the French style buttery mashed potatoes. I'm not sure what's different about the French style but it was smooth and creamy. Tasted like it just had some butter. Not heavy. They had a nice assortment of bread to pick from and the server came out twice with bread. Ended the night with crepes stuffed with orange soufflé with caramelized orange sauce and Grand-Mariner flambé. Enjoyed it. Funny thing is that the whole thing was warm so I felt like I was eating breakfast rather than dessert. There was nothing to cold to contrast with but it wasn't a bad thing. Just different than my expectation. It was very light and definitely tasty. My wife enjoyed her crispy chocolate and praline cake, roasted coffee bean sauce, and homemade orange marmalade. Her favorite part was the praline and coffee bean sauce. The chocolate is decadent and I thought the orange marmalade was a great addition. We actually got a complimentary dessert plate with anise madeleines, peach marshmallows and pecan caramels. All in all, a wonderful evening with excellent service, exceptional food & even better company. ;)

Every dish that came out was excellent! Each bite just made my taste buds jump with joy. We did the tasting menu which changes every few months. I love that they go around each course and offer bread and you can choose between the different kinds. My least favorite bread was the baguette for it was dry and hard. The dessert was not only beautiful but it also tasted amazing. The way that the chef can make a peach and he hand paints them all himself. I also really enjoyed the crispy chip with the mousse and fresh truffle shaving. The soup was such a nice addition for it was very light and refreshing. The little bites of cucumbers gave it such a nice texture. They might be a favorite anniversary meal each year!

I have been blessed to travel throughout my life all over the world. To say Oklahoma is fortunate enough to have an established like Fait Maison is an understatement. Their attention to give not only great food but the "experience" of eating French food is amazing! I highly recommend doing the Tasting Menu. It's incredible! The wait staff of Austin, Shane and Alex is superb in making sure you have this experience and the chef and his wife, not enough adjectives to say thank you for hospitality and skills in offering us and anyone who comes a glimpse of France without using a passport. FYI, Alex and his map on the table is a wonder touch. Everyone yes it's $$$$ but guess what traveling to France is more. Try this place you will not be disappointed

A beautiful experience. Everybody was so genuinely welcoming and attentive: the hostess, our waiter.. even the young lady who continued to fill our water glasses; if our water level dropped an inch she was right there to refresh it. The sommelier, Alex, was one of our favorite parts: helping to educate us on the wine, whiskey and cognac selections. Overall the food was impressive and fun. The chef's creativity and attention to detail really shines through in every dish. We loved the booth setup inside; the music as you walk up to the restaurant.. all together this was a wonderful date night.

I have been fortunate enough to have travelled to many different countries and I would definitely say both my husband and I are "Foodies" and this is some of the BEST French Cuisine I have ever had in my life!! The food is amazing, from start to finish! From the house made daily bread and butter, the escargot, and little touches like foie gras added to the duck.... the sauces, the vegetables, everything, absolutely everything on the menu has been well thought out. You leave feeling VERY satiated and satisfied but not over stuffed. The desserts are wonderful! This is our new go to date night place, we even actually like to go for appetizers/soup and drinks for a light snack if we happen to work late. We love Fait Maison!!!

This is a tough review to write. I wanted to love them. I truly think they have amazing potential that they are not living up to. First, we had 7:30 reservations and our dinner took until 10:00 to be finished. This was not because of us. They did give us some lovely amuse bouche. There was a cheese puff pastry, olives, and a toast point with something on top. These were quite yummy, especially the olives and cheese puff pastry. The toast point was just ordinary. They have a great wine list. I didn't look at their mixed drinks at all, so I can't say one way or the other but several people at our table ordered attractive mixed drinks. They walk around with amazing house-made breads and house-made salted butter. Both were excellent. The escargot were wonderful. However, the fork they give you does not trash in well to get out the escargot. They have these adorable little spear-type things with pineapples on top to get the olives and these were perfect for digging the escargot out. I ordered the lobster and Jerusalem artichokes in home-made ravioli with creamy lobster bisque. The ravioli was good but the lobster bisque was just a cream sauce and no more lobster. This was good but definitely not memorable. This was $28 and honestly should have had more lobster for this price. I also ordered the side of corn. For $11 it was overpriced. It came with what little pled like a lobster leg that had all the meat dug out of it. What a disappointment. My friend ordered Quail roasted with four gras, butternut squash, mushroom and coffee infused sauce. It was $38 and truly was overpriced. Two if our party ordered the risotto and said it was ordinary and nothing to write home about. When it came time to pay, they messed up all five of our tickets. At least once, and sometimes twice. Oh, and our main waiter tried so hard to anticipate our needs he kept interrupting what we were saying. The decor is beautiful, but I saw a lot of Hobby Lobby, including to a tray one of the servers was using. This was in contrast to the lovely little spears with pineapple decorations. In fact, do you see a trend? A lot of overpricing going on. The food had potential, but it honestly fell short. I have no problems paying $28 for an amazing appetizer or more for an entree. It's the lack of amazing that bothered me. But some of it, like the escargot was truly amazing. I'd go back just for escargot!

I'm really hoping I went during a not so great day... but I was severely disappointed in this place. Everything I had was no bueno and I think the AC was out at the time. So not only was the food not good, but I was sweating and sticking to my seat. Then for starters they gave Dijon mustard macaroons.... Dijon mustard macaroons... the duck was alright but the wagyu filet was just awful. We ended up not eating the wagyu, took it home, and recooked it with better flavorings. Another let down was the $10 French fries. I was hoping they would be crispy and seasoned to perfection, but they were not. Seemed like a whole potato cut up, soggy with grease and not seasoned at all. I will say that the service was on point though. Don't think I'll be back but based on everyone else's reviews maybe we went in during a bad kitchen shift?

An absolute gem outside OKC. The service and food were cream of the crop. My wife and I dropped in to celebrate an occasion for our first time in OKC and it was well worth the short Uber ride from downtown. I had the French onion soup and the wagyu filet with truffles and fois gras. She had the potatoes civet and duck breast. Since we were unfamiliar with French wines, the competent Sommelier guided us to an exceptional wine pairing. Oh and the home made bread and butter.... Incredible. Of course you will need to be prepared to pay premium prices but the restaurant certainly is an example of getting what you pay for - an incredible experience and extremely romantic atmosphere!

We made reservations for the six course with wine pairing dinner. The dining experience, food and wine were amazing! We took some photos, everything was as delish as it looks. Start to finish, such a treat!Owners, Susan and Chef Olivier are masters at their craft. This is a must spot for any special dinner!

Great place for weekend breakfast!…read more I went here with my breakfast group for our monthly meetup on a March Saturday morning. I am grateful to OKC food writer Greg Horton for mentioning La Baguette as a good breakfast spot in a piece that I read recently. Our server recommended the crepes as a standout breakfast item, and they delivered. My companions ordered the crepes normandie, while I ordered the crepes parisienne. What a delight! I hesitate to order some breakfast items because I prefer mildly sweet things. I like pancakes and French toast with just a drizzle of syrup, and I only need a thin layer of jelly on my toast. This strawberry crepe was delicious! They put strawberries and whipped cream inside a crepe, folded it over a few times, and then mounded some more strawberries and whipped cream on top. No other toppings needed! I tried the crepe by itself and was delighted to find that it had a mild taste. The strawberries were surprisingly ripe for March. Kudos to them for finding a great supplier of late winter/early spring strawberries! Also, the whipped cream tasted great mixed in with my hot tea. Definitely need to come back for more breakfasts!
