Pimento Cheese Bacon Cheeseburger and Tots
    Allen L. W.

The people were very nice. I won't say the burger was bad, but there was something weird about the meat. It was mushy though it was done and tasted kinda like meatloaf without the tomato sauce and stuff, almost like the meat had a filler in it to save on meat. The bacon on the burger was fried well and the pimento cheese was good. I am not a tater tot fan at all, but the only choices were those, German potato salad which isn't my thing or potato chips so I chose the best of the three choices. It's a very small place but as a said the people are nice and the place is very clean. I don't think I'd go back though, but some of the other stuff may be better. They have a lot of German food.

The pretzel charcuterie board with pecans, olives, a hot pretzel, meats, cheeses, and three very tasty sauces.

This place is pretty great! If you're looking for a nice little bistro with a German food influence, this is the place to go. Located in the 39th a street district, once you walk inside the Rainbow Bistro, you'll be greeted with a hello and a smile. The bistro is clean and the art is eclectic...expect a lot of personality inside. The menu names are tongue-in-cheek and I had a giggle while deciding what to order. There's outdoor seating, and if you're looking for a quick lunch, you can sit at the counter or take it to-go. There's also parking right in the front. The food is reasonably price (especially for the quality). They have a few traditional dessert selections and they offer Coca-Cola products in the can, ice tea and MOCKTAILS! I had the charcuterie pretzel board. The meat and cheese was really good. It came with three sauces. My favorite was the "awesome sauce". It had a mild curry taste and was great for the pretzel and the meats. The awesome sauce is VERY popular in Germany. The pretzel came out nice and hot and the olives were a great compliment. If you get the large board, it's perfect for two. Next time I plan on trying the "Big Helga" a classic Reuben. This could easily become your regular lunch or dinner stop just give it a try. Pssst, I was told a secret that some exciting new menu items are on the way.

Very nice staff and nice little place. Rubin sandwich is right on point, and the Patato soup as well. Highly recommend!

Rainbow Bistro in OKCs 39th Street District just opened for business! Stopped in for a snack and the food is so amazing!! We had the potato soup and potato salad! Everything was seasoned perfectly! They also served a chocolate cake with a pop tart in it! It was so tasty !! The owners and managers were extremely welcoming! They provided 10/10 service! The ambiance is casual and quiet! Definitely stop in if you are in the area!!

Alright, something about me, I LOVE BACON CHEESEBURGERS. Now I want to give credit where it's due! The meat on the Bistro burger is FIRE and the Tots were good. The vibe is okay, the service was friendly, and food was good if you are hungry! If you do get a burger please have them toast the burger. The meat is seasoned good to have cold buns. I will come back though.

Got "Helga All the Way" to go after getting off work late. The potato salad is amazing, made with chunky fresh potato slices. The Reuben was great too. Quick and friendly service.

Spicy cheesy pimento panini on Marble rye. With homemade German potato soup. Dipping sauce is handcrafted curry catchup. Yummy

I would definitely recommend going there, especially for the interior design--it's the highlight of the place. The space is quite large; I didn't sit on the other side, but the area where I sat was very cozy, with comfortable chairs, mirrors, and lots of plants, which made it feel calm and welcoming. They also provide books, so if you're by yourself, you can work or read. If you're with friends, you can play games since they have those available too. It's a good spot for any group size, or even just a quick stop to grab a coffee. Parking can be a little tricky at first, especially if it's your first visit, but there is parking available near the café. It's located on the second floor, and they have clear signage everywhere, which makes it easy to find. Overall, it's a nice, chill hangout space.

We went on a Friday around 8:30pm and parking was an issue - the lot was full from people using it for surrounding venues. The parking is free if you validate in Perets otherwise, it's expensive. The good: the place was incredibly inviting, and the atmosphere was great. Everyone working there was super friendly and engaging. I love the theme and vibe of the decor. Now, let's talk about the food. The avocado smash was delicious, but I would have given it a 5 out of 5 if it had had a better balance of acidity and a fresher avocado. A little bit of black pepper would have also been nice. The Croque Monsieur was a 3 out of 5. The stone ground mustard was way too heavy-handed, and I would have loved some fresh basil and/or spice to balance it out. Piquilla peppers with some red pepper flakes would have really taken it to the next level. The biggest complaint I had was the bathroom. It was gross! If it was just someone who left a mess, that's one thing, but when the toilet bowl had rings, it was a huge issue. I question kitchen cleanliness when the bathroom is that dirty. Overall, the place was a mixed bag, I'm going to try them again, but lord let's clean the bathroom, such an easy fix.
