This place is absolutely disgusting! They close early have no parking for loading and unloading, you have to bug bomb after Removal as they have no insulation walls are open and most outside. Filthy dirty your furniture will be ruin from the temps and dirt they are extremely rude and service is zero I fact they make it difficult to move out so they can Charge another month. They are only open til 5: 00 although it says seven. This should Not be your choice truly don't make Our mistake. Plus they are cost more then any other that have air conditioning and clean and great service. And sediment comes thru the bottom as the doors do not close properly. read more

I have had a storage at easy storage for years. I don't understand such bad reviews. The people there have always been kind and pleasant to me. The facility is super clean. The bathroom is cleaner than most expensive department stores. Only bad thing I have to say is they've been constantly raising prices If you constantly raise prices, you have to give your customers that are keeping you in business something and they refuse to change their hours hours are horrible. They don't open until 10 AM and close at 6:30. They open later than the bank at minimum at least they should open at 8 AM. We are paying enough money With the upwards in rent for them to pay someone to come in two or three hours earlier. read more

I can't comment on their storage business, but if you want to purchase moving supplies go elsewhere. I went there two times to purchase boxes. The first time I went, I had to buzz in at the gate. The volume of the speaker was so low I had to get out of the car to hear them. After they buzzed me in, I mentioned the problem. They asked if my car was running loudly. No, I have a electric car. I bought a few boxes from their limited choices. Needing more boxes, I went back two days later. I tried to buzz in, waited and waited. No one, loud or soft, answered. Tried calling the posted number at the gate. Got a recording. If you need boxes in Burbank, go to the Burbank Shipping Company or U-Haul. Much better service. read more

WOW. The absolute worst. Can't believe what we've just experienced. Maria was unable to answer simple questions and filled with attitude the entire time. Towards the end - ready to sign, we asked a simple question about giving a notice and she said she wouldn't be answering the question and was voiding the rental. After reserving the storage days in advance and ruining our travel plans, we had to deal with this very unhelpful service and unprofessional place. There was a bigger guy there who did nothing to help the situation and let Maria treat us this way. Also, NO PUSH CARTS AVAILABLE which was never stated in the reservation! Impossible to move boxes since every room is far away from elevators. Really disrespectful to be treated this way when we gave no attitude or any trouble whatsoever. Surprised they're in business. We found we still got CHARGED. We should've listened to the reviews while we were standing there reading them. read more

I would give 0 stars if possible. Absolutely horrid facility with awful customer service. The hours are horrendous and barely workable and they charge a fee for late access. Upon leaving the facility I called to give a 2 week notice of move out, followed all their move out procedures in order to not incur another months charge. They then proceeded to charge another month even after we vacated and refused to refund/prorate or be of any assistance. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! read more

Do not do business with this place unless you don't need a responsible business. Ownership increased rent due apparently to maintenance cost needs. Then allowed for and acknowledge that exterior units (mine) require roof repairs but, do not claim any responsibility for water damages inspire of increased rent for maintenance cost. Furthermore expect renter to move items away from acknowledged leaks in their own unit that they know leaks. If you can't maintain the space you charge extra for just that reason, the least the business could do is move the items to a properly maintained space. However their stance is to make the renter do more when they can't do their job right, but charge extra for. read more

Had this storage for a little under a year. One day I went to get some things and a ton of my stuff was missing. Like TV, guitar, suitcases, my darn salt rock lamp, etc?! Heavy bulky things. Went to desk to report and they were like "oh no". Said they COULD NOT roll cameras back. WHY? What's the point of cameras there? Called the police to make a report- that's all that could be done. I have had my storage unit here for years and my credit card has been on file making on time payments. All of a sudden to my surprise I received a delinquency letter. I check with my credit card company and they said there's no issues. I call EZ STORAGE and they tell me That they tried to charge the card, it didn't go through so I'm being charged delinquency fees until it's paid. I asked them to try the card again, they said it was removed from the file but they will try to locate it. Then they call me and tell me it's been located and it went through fine, the account is now current and nothing else is needed. This month, just a week ago, I received another delinquency letter with more fees being charged. I reach out to see the issue. They said there's no card on file to make the payment and so it is late. Here we go again. The issues are on their end but they are blaming me and charging me ridiculous late fees and they are denying my claim to reimburse those late fees with no reason why. read more

ANGELICA ARREGUIN 23 hours ago its by far the worst experience of my life!!! i purchase delinquent storage units online when the units go up for auction. i went to pickup && cleanout the unit for which we need to leave a $100 cleaning deposit once the unit is cleaned out that money is returned to you but my money wasnt returned.. the extremely rude lady that was in the office by the name maria, so called customer service office (employee), was so rude i went on september 5 i was called by a different employee to make sure i was going to pickup the unit which i did go... their facility closes at 7:00 pm it was 6:50 when MARIA decides to go upstairs where i was and saw my girlfriend [yes we are a lesbian couple] and began to scream "im closing up you need to leave" my girlfriend and i were in shock at how rude she was then i told her "its not 7 yet and i dont appreciate your attitude there are ways on how to to tell someone to kindly get your stuff and leave" when she told me "i dont care you need to go get your things and get out" so we did we got most of the things out from the unit and we got out... she is a very ugly and rude lady which i had until the next day to clear out the unit to get my deposit back... [she took forever to open up the gate so i can bring my car into the facility to begin loading which according to her she told me i had until 12:00pm to clean out... they open at 10:00 am i got there before 11:00 then was at the gate waiting for 10-15 mins so she can open, when she didnt i went in the office to ask her to please open the gate and to please let me borrow one of the karts they have there to roll the rest of the things out from the unit so i waited another 15-20 minutes standing inside the office for her to give me the key for the lovked kart..... when i went upstairs to get the things i was sweeping already done she goes upstairs to tell me that she is going to meep my $100 cleaning deposit because my time had run out when it was her fault i couldnt get out before 12:00 pm she did it on purpose i left the storage unit spotless clean and she said she was going to keep my money no i swear this lady was rude to me and my girlfriend since the day before when she yelled at us to get out.... she is the most impolite, discourteous, ill-mannered, uncivil, harsh, gruff, brusque, abrupt, tactless, snappish, snarling, ungracious, unkind, ungentle, crabbed, sour human ive ever crossed paths with... she had it against us from the day she saw my girlfriend which (dresses with baggy clothes) and saw that we were walking out holding hands when she yelled "you need to get out, leave right now" up until the next day when shr purposely took her sweet time to open the gate to give me the key so she can keep my $100 i bet im not the first person she has done that to.... ive worked in customer service for over 8 years and i have never nor will i ever treat anyone in that manner so callous and heartless. i told maria to please provide me with her managers information or contact her because was she did was not right ([i still went in the office to try to reason with her, never did i disrespect her in any way and she still denied me with giving me my money back and denied me with her managers information] honestly greed and hate can make people like maria so heartless.... read more

The only reason why this is a 4 star rating is because I wish the hours were slightly different (I tend to get there a half hour before closing all the time due to my own work schedule). Besides the hours, the facility is always clean. I frequently see employees sweeping the halls. When I stop by to make a payment or have a question/inquiry, Anna is always extremely helpful, even when the phones are ringing off the hook and she has a line of customers waiting. She is always friendly and knowledgeable. Also, LOVE Maria!!! (Also note, there is an hour lunch break where the office is closed and by pure coincidence I am ALWAYS there during that exact time. So, this company is terrible. AWFUL customer service. I'm moving out of state due to Covid and I get on the road day after Christmas. It's 1pm on Christmas Eve and I'm trying to drop off my possessions and I cant. They forced me to leave and I now have to get rid of everything I own on Christmas Eve. This company has caused me to lose EVERYTHING. They wouldn't let me access my unit to save the only things I have left. They were incredibly mean, no attempts to allow me even after I told them that this is all I have left, it would've taken 15 minutes. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. They truly are heartless monsters and have ruined my life. read more

I like E Z Storage. They are easy to find on Alameda, across from the Ralph's (Alameda and San Fernando Bl.) Although their address is on Alameda (20 E. Alameda avenue) , their entrance is on Prospect Avenue. 1 block to the south, you can take San Fernando Blvd one block south to Prospect. or you can take the shortcut through the alley. If you are just looking for their address sign, it's pretty small, but they have lots of signage, so they are easy to find. They have the best prices in town. I know I have check regularly, at least 6 times a year, LOL I do a lot of storage. Short term and (sigh) long term. On and off, They have some great specials, so always ask. No frills but they have everything you need including good security. They just started renting U-Haul trucks there also, for me makes it convenient when you are doing moving and/or storage. They have stairs to the second level and large freight elevators. The storage units on the second floor are cheaper. (But if you get way in the back, I think it's haunted!) Besides their inside storage units, they have outside drive up units and even containers. They are one of the few places in the area that have car and truck storage spaces, (I use that a lot) Everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful, the senior manager is Maria. They are very accommodating, except for their hours, they strictly enforce them. They are open 10:am to 7:pm, 7 days a week. Entrance is 10am-6:45pm (I learned the hard way). If you have a drive-up unit the hours are earlier. Myself, coworkers and friends have used them for years. Just for the record, No I do not work for them. read more

Worst customer service. I have dealt with them three times, all three times with very bad experience. They are always very rude and they will overcharge you for gas if you don't bring gas over the level you took the truck with. I dropped off the truck today and she did not even look at the truck to tell me if there is a problem, instead she said she will e-mail me the receipt. 15 minutes after I left she called and told me she is going to charge me $7 more for gas (which I filled up to the level I took the truck with). When I tried to explain this to her she yelled at me hung up. There is a U-Haul on the Victory Blvd, I recommend that you use that one instead. read more

I have had a storage unit with this company for years, to be more specific I've had 2 units over the last 9 years. I use it as a garage since the place I'm renting does not have a storage big enough for my larger items. I do not visit my storage often, maybe just time to tine to ensure the safety of my belongings. I've had this particular unit since 2014, no contact just month to month. Recently, I moved into a larger place and no longer needed the storage so I cleared my unit and removed the lock. During the move I did't have extra time to clear out the trash due to having a U-Haul for limited hours. I received I call from a newer customer service rep the next day who claimed that they will provide a lock on the empty storage to secure it and will charge me for they're own safety reasons. I explained the situation to this rep, but she was so clueless with her responses she was not listening to what I was saying to her and was just speaking over me. The way I was spoken too and the lack of respect from a customer service rep was astonishing. There is no level of integrity, since I don't visit the unit often I was totally unaware of the lack of knowledge the customer service staff had. I think investing in some people skills class or program would really boost revenue for your company and maybe a better client base. I believe in any industry customer service and integrity goes hand in hand with your loyal clients. Over the years I've spent lots of money with this company and to walk away in this manner is unreasonable. Better customer service equals better $$$, but I guess since it's been so long that I've had a unit there they feel like they want to milk me with any other fees and charges that they can prior to our departure . Once I mentioned I was going to write a review on YELP and needed the Yelp account details they explained they did not know they're company details to give me. I'm totally sure that if they assumed I was writing a positive review they would know exactly which direction to point me in and would probably even send me the link. Also, they don't have a corporate phone number just email address so I will have an update once I get some feedback from this company's corporate. At this point, I don't recommend this company but we will see what the response will be from corporate will be in regards to these matters. read more

EZ storage needs to train their employees on customer service. Very rude workers, they are not helpful and have terrible attitude. On Google it states, EZ storage is open till 7pm, but when I got there at 6:30 they said it is closed and refused to give a cart to take my stuff. I am canceling my storage at end of month and they could care less. A little customer appreciation can go a long way. read more

Let me start by saying this is my first experience renting a storage unit. I checked many places in the area and this place, BY FAR, has the absolute best prices. The staff is super nice and really go out of their way to explain the ins and outs of storage and their facility. Specifically, Thomas. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive. I was actually surprised that a storage facility would be so hands-on helpful. I have a unit on the second floor. They have large flatbeds that you can load up and roll to the freight elevator. You go up the stairs and roll the flatbed to your unit. The lights are on a timer so you just push the switches as you go. One trip with the flatbed and an entire SUV of furniture and boxes was done. I wish their gate hours were earlier (10am) but I like that they are strict about it - seems much more secure that way. I have been back and forth quite a few times while moving, and it's not a huge hassle or time consuming- which is very appreciated. You can pay your bills and manage your account online, or set-up auto-pay. Either way it's easy and convenient Super happy I found this place. read more

I believe there's nothing wrong with a business being profit driven. However, there IS one thing which is guaranteed. (Each year you continue doing business with EZ Storage they will keep jacking up your storage rates!!) REALLY RUDE for no reason! Just don't understand why the woman is so angry and impatient. The worst customer services.

I wish I could give zero stars. They overcharged me "accidentally" twice. All the employees are rude and can't answer a basic question in English. The facility itself is about to fall apart. If you're using a dolly to move your stuff, prepare to push through 500 doors in very narrow corridors. Oh and, they don't send you a monthly bill. So you have to set yourself a reminder and call in to pay your bill because they're online payment processor is always down. read more

I had a good experience renting a storage space. Terrence is always very polite and helpful.

When I picked up the van the woman told me to call if the van was going to be dropped off later than 11am on my drop-off date. I told her that we would definitely be dropping off later than that and she said that that was fine, and let me know where to leave the keys if it would be after business hours. I got a voicemail the morning of my drop off saying that the van was late and that they had tried charging my card - this location charged the card I used to hold the vehicle after letting them know I would be paying with my employers card upon dropping off. After we got to the location to drop off the van they reversed the charge on my card, but it cancelled the reservation and they were unable to charge the correct card. After waiting for two hours they said we could leave and to just leave the card information so they could charge it once they heard from someone higher up. A few days later I get an e-mail saying that my van wasn't paid for and that I needed to pay the full balance. So I call the rental place and they ask for the card information again, and let me know that they'll call and get that taken care of. Then today, almost a month later I get an e-mail saying that my card has been charged and a late fee applied even though I had attempted to pay twice and had not been notified either time that the credit card hadn't worked or possibly wasn't even attempted. I've rented Uhauls for years without issue in Chicago, a few of those years renting every weekend for months so I know how it's supposed to go, and know that this was grossly mishandled read more

I recently rented a space from EZ Storage. The building is easily accessible with a freight elevator, and it never is too busy. The staff (Maria/Albert) are courteous and available. The access to the building is very easy, as well as entrance into the parking area. Their prices are reasonable...I am happy with my service so far and would recommend them to anyone looking to rent storage space! read more
