I am now working with my insurance provider to reverse their claim so that I am able to get a pair of glasses that work and don't give me a headache. I was very pleased with the customer service and friendly demeanor. Last week I had my favorite pair of Ray Ban Aviator sunglasses that I had left on my armrest in my car. Unfortunately, the next time I entered my car, I sat quickly on my seat while leveraging my right arm on the armrest. That was the moment I bent the frame of the sunglasses! I tried re-bending the frame and I made it worse. I decided to contact Queen Creek Eye care and asked if they could see me and my bent sunglasses. They said to come on in and let's see what they could do. The receptionist was very courteous and said she would make the Optician aware of my issue. Within a short period of time I was greeted by Alexa with a smile and her promise that she would repair my sunglasses. No more than 5 minutes went by and she reappeared with my favorite Ray Bans and asked me to try them on. They were better than new! They fit me perfectly and I was super impressed with her customer service and expertise. There was NO cost for this service. I cannot remember the last time I received service without a charge. When I first walked into Sonoran Desert Eye Center I was greeted by a friendly staff member who was smiling and happy. She handed me a clipboard with a bunch of forms to fill out, which I completed and handed to a different lady at the front desk who was also super friendly. Shortly after that I was greeted by Dr. Quaranta, who was extremely nice. Dr. Quaranta took me to one of the exam room and performed a VERY thorough exam snd I felt his equipment was modern and it almost felt new. You know how sometimes when you go to the eye doctor and they try the different lenses and it's hard to pick one? Not here, there was a clear difference between the lenses and I feel confident he got the prescription right. He was also super knowledgeable and explained everything. I like doctors who will take the time to explain things. Dr. Quaranta's assistant was also super awesome. She also took the time to explain everything to me and pointed different parts of the eye. I learned that the optic nerve is composed of a disc and a cup, so now I'll be able to win trivia night! The staff was definitely doing their part to stop the spread of covid 19 including wiping everything down, sanitizing equipment and wearing masks. Plus they had the best smelling hand sanitizer ever. The optician Katie was so patient with me while I tried on like 100 different pairs of glasses and we wound up finding a pair that I liked that wasn't too badly priced. Can't wait for them to come in! She was super knowledgeable and wasn't afraid to share her opinion, which I really liked. So happy I found this place on Yelp!

The details: Glasses and exams are separated - have to go the back to get your eyes tested and they have all the bells and whistles (without the price tag) Know how you sometimes need to do the dilation test? Well, they have a super cool computer scan that can give you even MORE details. I learned more about my eye than any place I've ever gone before! The doctor was friendly, efficient and knew his stuff!! When he matched me perfectly the first time I knew I had found my eye doctor.. I asked him to please not retire anytime soon! Not only am I near sighted, I also have an astigmatism and it's sooo hard to find the right lense and contacts for me. This place made it seem like this is everyday stuff and got me fitted super quick!!
