They improperly schedule patients and when it is THEIR ERROR, they are not apologetic and reschedule you and STILL have you wait for hours and they try to reschedule again!! Horrible place. I was recommended to this place by a family member who's been seeing Dr. Tran for her eye care for 14 years and has sworn by his expertise and trustworthiness. So far so good and I was well taken care of. He caught that my prescription was too high and that either my vision improved or it was done wrong (I had no idea but no wonder I've been getting headaches out of nowhere). He then helped replace my contact lenses and gave an in depth review of my eye scan. They are up to date on their equipment and an appointment set in advanced will always definitely shorten the wait. Just note that Kaiser with L.A. Care couldn't be accepted, at the time of my visit but I was happy to pay cash for the service. read more

The seats in the check in area were really comfortable as was the lobby seats. There was no air puff test, great. The eye exam was easy,I usually have a hard time deciding which is better. Complete waste of time and waste of time off from work.. What a disappointment.. new to the area, was excited to finally have a eye appointment which was scheduled for 1030am. I arrived 10 mins early, signed in, sat for almost 30 min before asking one of the staff when I was going to be seen. She had me sit at a desk with a very man. He had me sign some forms, I asked when I might be seen since my appointment was at 1030am. He stated that there were a few more patients ahead of me, probably not for another hour, WTH... I said well, I had an appointment for 1030am, he stated that just guarantees me and I would be seen, not like a walk in. I left because who has an hour in half or more to wait when you have a scheduled appointment. I do not recommend this office. read more

The staff is nice but I've been waiting 2 months for my glasses. I was told at my appointment, March3, it would take 2 weeks for them to come. So I waited then was told 1 more week and then 1 more week. Then I was told that there was no one to cut the lenses so they're waiting. Then my lens never came in so they re-ordered it and told me to call for it. It was supposed to be ready yesterday but the machine was getting fixed. First went to this optometrist right around the time the pandemic started, they were great and had a wide variety of frames to choose from. Attempted to make an appointment recently about 2 months ago for a check up for my husband and I. After being rescheduled once to another month out...was called yesterday to reschedule again, the girl said she didn't know why but the Dr. Wouldn't be able to keep my appointment. Pretty crazy that they feel they can just try to reschedule appointments multiple times after people have made arrangements with work for time off for the appointment and her excuse was "ummmm, not sure why, but he said he just won't be here" I told her don't worry about it we will just search for another optometrist! I can not say enough good things about Eye-C-You!!! The staff is friendly and helpful. The Optometrist is friendly and knowledgeable. The office is modern and comfortable. I can't think of anything bad to say about this place. Oh... I forgot to mention the glasses. The quality of their glasses are amazing! Their selection of quality frames is great, and the quality of lenses is unparalleled. I am writing this review after I needed to return because my kids' dogs chewed off the nosepiece of my glasses. Without question, my frames were replaced UNDER WARRANTY! I was ready to pay quite a bit to fix my glasses, but I was told it was covered and I wouldn't have to pay anything. The staff was very friendly and helpful and were able to answer all questions I had. They have a huge eye frame selection, several styles and prices. I had read reviews saying the business changed and some folks weren't happy but since Ive always found them to be TERRIFIC people who are better at what they do than just about anyone else, I checked them out and found no difference whatsoever. The people are GREAT!!! I have found these folks to be the only ones who have been willing to do what I see as major eye glass repairs. Most places that sell glasses will do the equivelent of wiping the lenses ot at best tightening the fit. These people are EXPERTS at fixing things most eye glass places will tell you they arent qualified or have the knowledge to even touch. I got brand new glasses from Costco that were literally in pieces 3 weeks later because the frames were pretty flimsey. Despite Costco USUALLY being good about stranding behind their quality, frames that break into pieces apparently arent included. The wonderful folks at Eye C You once again came to my rescue. They have a FABULOUS selection of frames and they have many people working with customers so any kind of wait time is minimal at most. From my perspective, while they ARE a business, I think they provide a wonderful community service too by serving as a talented resource in repairing glasses keeping folks in the community seeing well at a minimal cost. They saved me several hundred dollars by not having to replace brand new glasses when I cannot afford it, Blessings on this business! read more

Waited roughly around two months to get my glasses! Every time I call to check if they're ready the lady is rude and says yeah you should just get a text, next thing you know they're ready and you still won't get a text till a week later! When you call she automatically puts you on hold i've been currently waiting 30 minutes on hold for her to just ask my name and then put me on hold again for what about another 20 just to say yes or no they're ready. My boyfriend needed his glasses for work and had to wait a month to get them aswell, was never texted or called that they were ready I had to call in for them. While he was picking them up the lady was rude when asking if he got a text about them then made him wait around 20ish minutes just to grab them. This is always a problem whenever this location is mentioned to anyone always having the same thing to say. You would think they would get better over time or higher people who actually want to be there. read more

My initial visit was to meet up with my boyfriend to check out frames that he had been searching high and low for. During my visit, the office had an event promo going on in which they provided catered food and drinks. In addition, a vendor that was showcasing new frames. The office was packed and full of eager customers. The staff handled the abundance of people VERY well. My boyfriend ordered his frames and encouraged me to look around as well. I found a pair and was assisted by Valerie. She was very professional and knowledgeable about the frame brand/style that I chose. During my second visit, I met with Cyndi. Cyndi offered me several options in regards to which lens would be beneficial to me since my prescription is PRETTY strong. I decided to order my lens and explore more options for my frames. This office stands out for several reasons, their exceptional customer service and the fact that they're able to customize your lens onsite. No waiting for 2 weeks or longer for your glasses to be ready. I want to recognize all the staff at this office, but I want to personally say that Valerie and Cyndi were the two that provided exceptional customer service throughout my entire experience. Awesome. I was a bit worried that the other reviews were overkill (yelp has that tendency), but I am very glad I came here. First, they take VSP for insurance. Second, they are open Saturday. Hooray! The young lady who greets you and gets you started was VERY kind and informative. She's friendly, professional, and doesn't make you sit around in the lobby for 20 minutes waiting. Dr. Tran, my optometrist, is a very friendly and knowledgeable doctor. I've been going to the same optometrist for 18 years, and I always thought that my former doctor was great, but no. Now I understand what true care is. He was very patient and explained everything. Apparently my eyes are a LOT worse than I realized. I had the same prescription for contacts for the past five years, but he took the time and figured out that not only did I have astigmatism, I also have different numbers in both eyes! He did mention that he specializes in contact fittings and I believe pediatric optometry. Very appreciative of this doctor. I'm not sure if they are more expensive than other places, but honestly, I'm a firm believer in the idea that someone should deserve every dollar. If they do, I am more than happy to pay whatever they ask. They could have charged me $100.00 for a once-a-year exam and I would be glad to pay for it. The service is amazing, and it is especially important when it comes to your HEALTH to pick the best you can get! read more
