I was very impressed!…read moreI probably sent about 6 requests for quote out to different companies and Lynn at Express Haulers was the first to call me within a minute of sending the request, and the only one persistently following up with me. I told every company that we have a small move as we had been moving things little by little by ourselves, only Lynn provided me with the lowest minimum hours and competitive pricing. When I said I would get back to her, I appreciated her persistence in following up. They estimated 2.5 hours of work and Carlos and his team did a great job efficiently moving things, only took 30 more minutes than they estimated. They also didn't have any hidden charge for wrapping material for couch etc. My husband at the receiving address said they were very careful with our newly renovated home, the floor, the wall etc as they moved and assembled furniture. After the move, the owner Diego himself reached out to check in and asked for feedback. There seems to be a high pressure culture for the crews to get online reviews. The team lead repeatedly asked me to post 5 star reviews before the job was done. When one of our friends posted a 4 star review, the team lead would not let up until it was corrected to a 5 star review. He said he would be fired if the 4 star review remained online. It created an uncomfortable tension during an already stressful move. I am grateful for their good hard work, but I would prefer to post a review because of the quality of service, not because I feel pressured to in the moment. The crews should be allowed to do their job without worrying about how many 5 star reviews they can get from the customer.

From start to finish, everyone involved was focused on making things easy for me. I was notified of the truck's progress so I knew to the minute when the truck would arrive -- and the truck arrived on time. The fellows loading the truck we're polite, professional, courteous, and careful, both of my possessions and of the building (I moved out of an apartment in a 10 story building). They dismantled the furniture, which reduces the chance of damage. When they "mantled" the furniture at the other end, they actually fixed a few problems -- in this, and throughout the move, One Circle went above and beyond. I'm unpacking now -- everything arrived intact and without any damage, which is a minor miracle in itself (a few wine glasses were broken, but that's on me -- my packing was not adequate to the fragility of the contents). My boxes and furniture were placed exactly where I wanted them, and stacked neatly -- when I realized some boxes were in the wrong spot, they were repositioned without complaint. In fact, they could not have been more accommodating, checking with me frequently to be sure every last item was where it would be easiest for me to unpack. Lame! You simply cannot get in touch with this location by any means. They fail to pick up the…read morephone no matter when you call and their voicemail has been full as long as I've lived in the area. That would be less frustrating if they, say, responded to emails or 'contact us' form submissions from ups.com - but they ignore those as well. I get that shipping places can get busy at times. The situation I'm talking about involves a sustained effort to ask a necessary question over the course of two weeks. Honestly maybe they should save some money and drop their phone service if they're never going to use it. When a business has a full voicemail that never empties, I've found it correlates to poor outcomes for the customer. At the least it doesn't reflect well on the store.
