During a previous encounter, a former student of mine attempted to rent a storage unit from Extra…read moreStorage. I remained in the car while she attempted to open an account, but was later asked to provide my driver's license when I entered the office. I explained to Richard that I did not want to be involved in the rental agreement, and he assured me that I would not be held responsible since the credit card on file belonged to the former student. However, several months later I received a bill for the storage unit. When I contacted Richard, he told me that I was responsible for the payments since I had provided my driver's license at the time of rental. Despite my objections, the unit was not closed until payment was made, and the items in the unit were sold at auction without my knowledge. Although the debt collection letter did not include the former student's name, Extra Storage considered me to be the rightful owner of the unit since it was opened using my driver's license. As a result, I am now responsible for paying the creditors for a storage unit that I did not rent. The creditors themselves acknowledged that Richard could have handled the situation differently, such as suggesting that the former student return to rent the unit using their own driver's license at a later date. Overall, this experience has been frustrating and disappointing.

For a storage rental business they must understand this is hard for many people and that's exactly how they exploit their customers. Avoid this place!!!! It also has no heat or AC so anything you store could suffer from weather. And the carts are always missing.

When I decided to move across the country coast to coast, I couldn't think of any other option. It started off in October when we sold our house & had to get rid of half of our house. Genmove did the Junk Removal service to get rid of our headache. As we ended up selling our house early, Genmove picked up our stuff & kept it in storage for 2 months. On getting possession of our new house, we informed Genmove & they expedited the shipment & we got it in 5 days! We just received our stuff. Johnny & his crew were excellent & moved the items safely & set them up perfectly. They were very careful & worked really hard. Thanks to Guy & Genmove team in executing our move flawlessly. Highly Recommended.

While we have had good experiences with Doug's Rug before, our most recent installation has been…read morenothing but frustrating. The caret pad we specified and were quoted was replaced with a lower grade pad with a less comprehensive warranty. Within 3 months of installation the seams are showing and edges of the carpet that interface with other flooring are failing. We have called multiple times to have Doug's come out to inspect and repair. They do not return calls and when we do reach them they give vague promises to schedule a visit. Over 5 months later nothing. This is in stark contrast to the irritating persistence of the woman who runs the showroom , schedules and collects payment. In our opinion, she is unrelenting and irritating when collecting money during the deposit and installation, and unreachable when there is a problem. After multiple broken promises to fix the issues we've experienced, we recently visited the showroom in Flanders. The state of the store says everything. It is a catastrophe. Messy, unwelcoming and dirty with the woman mentioned before ensconced at a messy desk in the rear not even deigning to greet a customer walking through the front door, but rather staring with an irritated "why are you bothering me" look until we engaged her. Even the face to face promise made to fix remains broken a month later. No follow up, nothing At this time we recommend avoiding Doug's Rugs at all costs. This is a huge disappointment as we strive to support small local businesses whenever we have a choice.
