My…read morestuff was in a unit for less than a year and in that time, my rate doubled and worse, was filled with mouse (rat?) poop when I moved out. It was DISGUSTING and involved so much cleaning and I am just glad that the stuff I stored in there was basically all stuff I could easily disinfect (things from my mosaic studio, not textiles or anything fabric). There were definitely things I had to throw away though...so for the exorbitant price, it added insult to injury. Something else to note - these units are on an incline, so I totally tripped because of the weird angle while moving my stuff out.

My first unit was too small and I realized that after I saw it in person, luckily they had the bigger one available and I was able to pivot there. Place is clean, easy to get in and out of and I think the biggest plus is that it's safe. It's in a great area, and I never had issues with pets (two legged OR four legged kinds) I'd definitely recommend, keeping in mind it's a little off the beaten path if you don't mind that.

Just got the latest price increase: $192 a month. Do the math: that's an 88.2% increase over seven years, averaging a compounding 12.6% a year. They blame the last increase on rising insurance costs, which are $16 a month. B.S. The Corporate HQ has a crappy "it's in the contract" attitude. SAVE YOURSELF GRIEF AND MONEY. While we were moving out someone with an adjacent unit told us that this was his third incident of burglary there. We asked management to review the footage from numerous cameras and they replied, stating that there are 600 people using this storage. We replied that during the incident surely not all 600 were on the premise at that time. Would they please narrow down the people by finding who had signed into the facility during the period right before the burglary and then checking the cameras during that period. They did not show an attitude of helpfulness of doing this. Probably our items are in someone else's storage unit adjacent to ours with no hope of catching the thieves. Why even have cameras then? We are not there anymore and have suffered a devastating loss. To make matters worse I did receive a bill from them after we had moved out, by the end of the month , which I consider extremely poorly done after having lost so much.
