While I have not rented at this facility, my rating is reflective of the excellent communication and customer service I received from Sierra! I'm moving my items from another facility, so I wanted to check them out and see what they offer. After submitting an inquiry, Sierra promptly left a voicemail offering her assistance with selecting an appropriate unit for me. I stopped by after work to speak with her and see the facility. After assessing my needs, she advised me that their facility might not be the best fit. Rather than just feed me BS and take my money, she recommended another facility within her company that could better address my needs. I value her honesty and appreciate her transparency. PLEASE READ BEFORE RENTING! I Have been renting from this Company on Double Diamond and South Meadows for close to a year at $200 a month. Without warning theyhave raised the price if my 10x15 to $429 continuing every month. I have contacted the Company and they could care less even though on this forum they reply "concerned" and they take these "matters seriously" they will not adjust the pricing. If I dont like it I can move out. This would mean renting from another company, uhaul, moving expenses, and time of from work. Im more than happy to take down this review if they put my rate to what it was and agreed upon. Bottom line is This company is immoral and unethical to do this though they claim its "legitimately" legal. Good luck when they do it to you. Please do not rent from them! read more

So far so good! -Finding this place was easy and it has very competitive pricing. -Convenient location, easy off the 580. -Renting was simple. The employee was very helpful and friendly. -Getting into our new unit was extremely easy, no need to go to the office as the employee set it up for us before we arrived, sent us instructions and we were able to just start loading up the unit. -Their carts for use are very helpful and work well. -Facility is very clean. read more

They did not honor the rate even after calling and speaking with them. It was a messy series of calls, and I am extremely disappointed. The facility here is dirty, and the door does not work about half of the time as well. I would recommend going else where read more

Bad experience. Moved in and was given a good rate with first month free. 3 months later and the rate was raised by $60 a month right after they had charged us for our payment. Main door to drive in was broken during our entire 3 months using them. I also observed water dripping into units and notified management and never heard back from them. Overall felt misleading. I would have never rented if I knew a per unit price increase was going to happen. As a military family, we have rented many storage units and I was never taken advantage of like this in the past. If I could give no stars, I would. I rented a unit and moved in. 2 days later, the keypad to entered stopped working and stayed in disrepair for weeks. Sometimes I couldn't get to my unit because of what appeared to be some kind of mailing operation which took up the entire entrance way. Then the elevator didn't work a couple of times. One day they closed the entire 3rd floor and I couldn't access my unit. THEN, they charged me a late free of nearly 30% of my rental fee because they didn't automatically draft payment from my bank account as I agreed to when I rented. And TWICE when I tried to speak to someone about this I was yelled out and spoken to in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner by the horrendous people they leave running the place. I'm no wilting flower and I can give it as good as I get it but I am stunned at at the ZERO amount of customer service skills these folks possess. Do more research, Extra Space has a horrible reputation for customer service. I wish I had been so diligent before I rented here. read more

The facility was very clean when we moved in a year ago, but has gone downhill significantly since then. About a month after moving in, our rental rate was increased...a total bait and switch...waiting at least a year for an increase is much more sensible. The elevator is not functioning, so we are unable to gain access to our storage unit...and there is not an after hours emergency phone number. The keypad to gain entrance through the front rollup door is consistently not functioning, and entering/exiting through the back rollup door can be challenging to navigate. For months, there has been a creepy box truck parked near the entrance of the front rollup door. The truck seems to be abandoned as it's been in the same exact spot, yet it has not been towed. Essentially, the facility is not at all as well-maintained as when we moved in. read more

On 01/03/2024 I went to my storage unit per usual. Upon arrival it had a sign saying that the front gate does not open in in order to open or get into the unit. You have to go through the side door or go around back to the exit door so I did so. My twins, and I then got a cart and proceeded to go to the elevator, and then proceeded to enter in the elevator and then once we pressed number two nothing had worked or happened the door was closed to the elevator. No lights were lit up on the keypad, so I then started ringing the emergency bell because there was a guy outside the elevator, the entire time sitting on the carts. I was then knocking on the door and nothing. Mind you my two twins are scared at this point because they see me knocking and pushing all these buttons and nothing was happening. Then l pushed the call emergency button and spoke with a lady stationed in OH and she asked me for my information. Then she got cut off and then the elevator then took us to level 2. The emergency response called me back on my cellphone now to make sure we were ok. we put everything in our unit, and then proceeded to walk back towards the elevator, since that was the only way to get back down. Then, once we got out and got down, I had asked the gentleman who was sitting out there the whole time if they heard me ringing the buzzer, and knocking on the door, one had stated oh, I thought you were joking. Why would I be joking we were stuck. Then I called the office and the office basically told me I was lying and then I didn't get the elevator enough time to register. Then she proceeded to tell me that they are doing routine checks on the elevators and maintenance. But yet I am lying while my two twins were scared and Elevator mind you I've been here multiple times, so I know that the elevators do not take that much time and why would I contact the emergencies system if I was supposedly lying!!! instead of being more empathetic, they told me that they are canceling my contract because I said that it is bullshit that they are basically calling me a liar worst customer service ever!!!! read more

My husband lost his job and we had to move from Reno to Texas. We hired movers which turned out not to be a good choice. They stored our belongings at Extra Space Storage in Reno. Long story short Reno PD had to get involved. Dani and Michelle were so awesome. The facility is very nice and clean. If you store your belongs at Extra Space storage, just know your things are safe. Dani and Michelle went out of there way to help us in a bad situation. They deserve 10 stars. read more
