Great move in special to pay $1 for the first month, then an affordable $157/ mo. for a decently sized unit (10x20). All units seem to be drive up units, perfect for those in need of storage with a disability (ADA compliant). There is an office if you would like to speak to someone during office hours. We have not had an issue with anything thus far in terms of payment, communication and storage in general. The facility is fully fenced in with a cinderblock wall about 8-9 ft tall (maybe taller) and a security gate, of which they give you a specific code to enter. Online setup, payment and cancellation available. Outdoor RV parking is available. Trees available for shade vs parking covers. read more

I've stored my rather popular and colorful Burning Man RV here for a while. I have been the victim of rather extensive identity theft and having problems with online payment and fraud. This year a friend told me they would cover the storage fee and apparently did not. I was told a day or two ago by phone i needed to pay. I tried logging into their website to do so but for whatever reason i can't and i'm now being told i have to come to Nevada and pay locally by like Cash or something. I could mail a cashiers check overnight but they're refusing to cooperate and for some unknown reason claim they will auction my RV. Like... seriously? Is there some conspiracy to harass me right now? Even law enforcement locally don't want to do their jobs and cooperate. All my computers and phones are obviously infected. read more

Vista Park Self Storage - i didn't give this business a 3 star review and upload this like this. - Self Storage Near Me - Sparks, Nevada

The manager at Vista Park Self Storage placed a lock on my unit after only 9 days late and literally minutes later took, without my authorization, the full amount including the late fee. The law in Nevada is 10 days before you can lock the unit. I brought this to the manager's attention as well as Shield Storage management and received it nothing in response. I've been there for almost three years and was only late once before. Laws are minimum standards and if a business fails at that level (knowingly, it's not like it was an administrative error) do you want to do business with them? read more

This place is so crooked and Sparefoot.com was WRONG about having these spots reserved and confirmed. They should drop Vista Storage, because they obviously don't want to provide service nor storage that is up to date . They told me they had no record of my reservation or payment. And the only site available was 20 feet. What am I supposed to do, cut my RV in half?!?!?! You are a bad joke and I'll be sure every traveling RN knows not to bother doing business with you!!! I'd give less stars if I could. You put this Nurse in a bad situation and I've been on the FRONTLINES!! read more

Great staff , nice location, clean property, price up front, parking spaces too. Easy to get to

I used Vista Park Storage many years ago and was quite satisfied. When a need arose again, I used it again. It is convenient in location, easy to access, as well as being very secure. I don't have to worry about anyone gaining access who is not approved to do so. read more

Vista Park Self Storage - Self Storage Near Me - Sparks, Nevada

Vista Park Self Storage increased my monthly RV storage 85 PERCENT! Their unreasonable RATE INCREASE is disgraceful during the hardship of the pandemic and upcoming Holiday. I refused to allow their corporate GREED so I immediately moved out of their storage and found a less expensive facility. It seems this business has earned an awful reputation for charging exorbitant rate increases ... so Beware! Note: Vista Park Self Storage recently had several RV's vandalized on their property with bricks thrown through their renters windshields. I ADVISE AVOIDING THIS STORAGE COMPANY! read more

So far, so good! Planning on storing for a bit. Thanks for the service. Value is decent.

I needed a storage unit only for a month or two to help when I had to clear out a house - to sort through all of the stuff. I found Vista, right down the street from where I live, and Emily was terrific with her answering all of my questions - even one's she never heard before. Got Space? Vista rocks. read more

We reserved a unit for this summer through a third party service who gave us some erroneous information. But Emily at Vista Storage was very prompt about rectifying the situation. Great customer service. Will be happy to rent from them again if needed. read more

Clean and accommodating. Front desk agent was very helpful in getting us into the right unit for our needs

I checked online and found this storage facility. I made an online reservation with no credit card which was refreshing as many want money upfront. I drove in, they pulled up my reservation, answered all my questions and within minutes I had my storage unit. I inspected it and it was spotless. I moved in my stuff. It was effortless and I'm pleased to have stuff secure in a gated facility. My code was easy to remember and I drove away a happy camper. read more

I'm really happy with Vista Park storage unit. Emily the lady who helped was friendly, efficient and signed myself & my husband up very fast to our unit. It's a very clean property and our storage unit is perfect for what we need. The cost was one of the cheapest we found and great value for our money. read more

If I could give them a minus 0 I would when the business was bought out the new management became extremely greedy raise rents aggressively also changed the terms that they no longer pro-rate days. So if you give them notice that you're moving out and you're not out before the 1st they charge you for a whole month. Even if you only had 9 days into the month. I had been a long time renter and upon talking to other people they too were moving out due to the continuous rate increases. The couple I spoke with had 3 units they didn't know either that they would not get a refund for the difference of 9 days vs 30 days they also were ticked off. read more

We needed a storage unit VERY last minute- I mean walk-in last minute. They were great at helping us out on the spot! I was wanting a place that was month-to-month & a drive-up unit & I got that. Customer service was great & their hours are also good. I had 100 questions- it's been years since I needed a storage unit- and she was kind enough to answer everything & make copies of everything for me. I am aware with understaffed businesses, it's difficult to find good customer service & it wasn't lacking. After an already very stressful day- it was welcome. We rented a 5x10 and it was your typical storage unit- clean inside. They do offer padlocks for purchase- very convenient. It was a great experience- especially for being completely unplanned & not reserved!! read more

We've been with Vista storage for over 10 years.. we've been very pleased with them, HOWEVER they've kept raising their prices every 6 months for the past 2 years, they said because of demand. The location is terrific and accessibility in and out is easy. The staff is friendly. I gave them 4 stars mostly b/c of their pricing structure. read more

1/2 off first month is good. Don't like that insurance is required. they won't let you waive it.

I went online and reserved a 32 ft trailer space. It had a move in special of half off the first two months rent, at a rate of $80 per month. I showed up to Vista Park on the move in date and I was told there was no record of my reservation or the half off special. Haden told me not to worry, he would reserve me a spot anyway. He said to come back, since I didn't have the necessary registration papers at that time. I came back a few days later and the same man said he still had no reservation for me and no available spaces! He referred me to Desert Highlands since it was a sister company. The young man at Desert Highlands said he had no 30ft spaces but did have 40ft spot for $100 per month, still honoring the half off special. I was quoted $160 for the first two months, which included the admin fees. I did not have the trailer with me after my experience at Vista Park. I was told to come back on Monday, Memorial Day with the trailer. Again being hesitant because of the poor service so far, I called first and was told once again that I had no reservation and that the $160 was not valid. Alana apologizes and said she'd talk to Emily Casey, the manager who sent the email and also the district manager. I sent her a copy of my confirmation email. Emily said she had no knowledge of the email. Alana called back on Tuesday, the day after Memorial Day to inform me I could have a 30ft space at full price, no discounts. She asked if I'd like to speak to the District Manager myself. I said if he saw the email and confirmation and still refused to do anything for me I'd be wasting my time. I will be reporting this company to the BBB for their fraudulent business practices. By the way, I asked Alana if this kind of thing happened frequently and she confirmed that it did, blaming the 3rd party they use to get renters. She also blamed me at the end of the conversation, saying my promo had expired anyway. Yeah, after jerking me around for two weeks! I was there on the move in date! read more

Update as of 12-21-2020 So in order for me to get my stuff out I paid. They never removed their insurance policy even after having Statefarm send them a certificate that I was covered. They couldn't supply me with a 10 day notice form that I was giving my 10 day required notice. So I had to hand wrote it and the property manager refused to print and sign his name. I asked for my original rental agreement and the increase of rent letters they say they sent. They told me they didn't have that either. Shady business and the property manager on site never returned my calls and continuously told me he was waiting on corporate to get back to him. I started all this on Dec 4th. Over 20 calls were placed in 15 days and they never answered. You would think 2 weeks would be plenty of time for corporate to get back to him. UPDATE AGAIN!!! Still waiting for my deposit of $50 back!!! Said it would take 5 days!! It's been 17 days!!! Crooked business!! read more

This is the worst storage facility I have ever used. I rented a unit in August 2020 and at the time opted for the optional $21 insurance coverage since I was not sure if my homeowners insurance covered storage units. Also, I asked the on-site person I rented the unit from to sign me up for autopay. He said I could do,it online as he could not do it. I thought I successfully signed up for autopay online. But at the end of September I received an email indicating my account was overdue. I called the office and spoke to Hayden. He advised me the website had been experiencing problems the last few months. I gave him my payment info and asked him to set me up for autopay which he did. I also asked for refund of the late fees since the website was experiencing problems and I did not receive any contact from them until my payment was overdue. He said he would contact corporate. At the beginning of October I provide a copy of my homeowners policy and declaration showing the storage unit was covered under my policy, and asked for the $21 insurance fee to be canceled. The on-site person indicated they would. At the end of October, my bill still had the insurance fee attached. I called and spoke to Hayden again. He indicated the fee was not removed because Vista Park Storage was not listed on the policy. Per the contract, it does not indicate they are required to be listed. I asked for a refund for those fees and the late fee again from earlier. He said he would contact corporate again and get back to me that day. After a week, he had not contacted me. I sought a new storage unit. I typed up a termination letter for my storage unit and presented it to Hayden with a termination date of 11/23/2020, two days prior to the next billing date. Hayden also had me sign a move out form from Vista Park Storage. On 12/08/2020, I received an email my account was past due. It is obvious this facility is mismanaged and does not value their customers. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for overcharging and breach of contract. I am still awaiting a response. I would not recommend this facility as they will try to nickel and dime you and refuse to rectify their wrongdoing. read more

Made a reservation over the phone, being told I would receive a confirmation email and follow-up phone call. Was given the actual office phone # "in case" I didn't hear back from that office. Never got the email or phone call. Tried numerous times that day, and following morning, to call and the phone just rang and rang.. no voicemail, no nothing. Called back the online # I'd started with and told "Oscar" my situation. Oscar tried calling the office # and indeed confirmed that there was no answer and no voicemail, which he pointed out was very strange. The person who originally made my reservation was either stoned, or illiterate, as he'd gotten my email wrong, and had not made the reservation, anyway. Oscar took very good care of me, and suggested I drive to the office on Vista to see if anyone was there. So, a very young man/boy was in the office and seemed somewhat defensive when I commented that I'd called that office numerous times yesterday and today. Interesting. I FINALLY secured my 5x10 unit, which, buyer's BEWARE, actually only has 4 1/2 x 9 feet of storage space. A little shaving here and there might be expected but, 6 inches by 1 foot is quite a bit of lost storage space! For their prices being higher than the average for this area, I would think they would be more professional and more honest about actual storage footage. Other facilities closer to me were full, so Vista Park was my next choice. I am less than impressed.. read more

Was looking for a storage unit towards the end of the month. Talked with Tom and he explained the process to me and advised me to call back on a regular basis to make sure I didn't miss out. He put my name on a waiting list and I was looking forward to working with him. However, I was able to find a rental unit that was more in line with what I was looking for and so I didn't choose this site. However, the customer service that was provided was second to none. Keep up the great work, Tom! read more
