I have mixed reviews. The moving crew was excellent. They covered all furniture in blankets, was careful moving things and caused no damage, and placed the items in the new home as directed. However, based on the written estimate I received, I believe I was overcharged for one hour. I emailed and called the company numerous times to discuss. After almost 2 weeks and multiple requests for it we were forced to book another mover. After I informed them of that they finally send a COI and then refuse to refund my deposit. This was by far the most horrendous, devastating moving experience of our lives. And we've moved a lot. The 3 young men sent to complete the move were extremely polite and pleasant. And that is the only positive thing I can say. This move lasted 12 hours (paid per hour at a very high rate) , yet as I write this, it is 10 days after "moving day" & the move is still not actually complete. We had to rent trailers 3 days in a row and work by ourselves (and we're in our late 70's) to try to finish emptying out our previous home - which was now owned by its new buyers! Fortunately they were kind and patient folk or it would have been even more of a nightmare. We offered to negotiate a "settlement" with them due to their failures to perform, but they refused so we are now filing a claim. read more

Here's a lesson for everyone. I hope you choose to read this through. A few years back we had a move go very badly due to a couple of young men from this company. The owners contacted us almost immediately after our complaint was lodged. The matter was resolved and we received our money back (I'm betting those two men are no longer with the organization). Lana, the owner, asked that we: 1). Not judge the company based on our only incident and 2). Give her outfit another chance, should we move again. We sold our house and needed most of the contents temporarily moved to storage. A promise is a promise so Saturday morning we were fortunate to have Nathan and his crew, Donavan and a youngster named Anthony, load our uhaul and transfer it to a facility here in town. Sorry for the length but it needs to be said that for three guys that have never worked together, they knocked this task out as good as any seasoned crew of movers. They moved quickly. They moved carefully. All on an incredibly hot Nevada morning. Nathan did an outstanding job organizing the storage unit and all three men were very professional, showing nothing but class. We were even comfortable with the price we were quoted. In the end, that's the price we paid. We didn't actually have them move us. It was just extremely difficulty in getting them to give us a price. I had given them the info another company had quoted - 2 trucks, 4 men, 8 hours. I'd finally start to feel like I had enough info and then he'd throw in another condition. Just be aware they don't have their own trucks and you are required to drive them (at least that is what Anthony told me). I think our job was just to big for them and he didn't want to be bothered with it. After coming and looking at what we have, he more than doubled the price and wouldn't let me know how he came up with that figure. Not impressed. read more

Rec'd their recommendation from my real estate agent. I've used them twice now and couldn't be happier. From my initial contact (with a live person!). to the end of the process, everything was handled beautifully. Job #1 involved had a potentially complicated location between my POD and my condo; All About worked with me and provided suggestions/options for alternate plans just in case they were needed. The crew was a bit later in arriving than originally estimated, but they provided clear communication on their updated arrival time. They took great care to ensure walls, etc. were not dinged or damaged (covered garage entry door with a blanket, etc.). Job # 2 was much smaller but just as efficient. I needed only a few pieces of furniture moved (I'm on the second floor); All About was able to have a crew available that same afternoon. Amazing service and professionalism. A crew of 3 from All Out moved me from Gardnerville to Carson City, furniture and related personal belongings in 2br 1400 sq. ft. house. Nathan (crew lead) and is crew worked very hard and quite effectively, all my belongings that required protective packaging/blankets/cushioning were packed into the truck and unpacked without any damage - overall an expert job. Now for the unexpected: When you use All Out the customer (YOU) make arrangements to provide a rental truck, and you are responsible for all costs related to it's use (mileage charge, fuel, etc.); you can authorize an All Out person to drive the vehicle - All Out DOES NOT OWN a fleet of trucks. In my case I reserved a 26' truck from U-Haul (typically who All Out recommends); U-Haul phoned me and very unpleasantly surprised me ONE HOUR before pickup time: Sorry, we overbooked and do not have your truck, really?....yes REALLY. We were offered a 15' truck that was on the lot and the crew from All Out loaded EVERYTHING into the truck- it took a good while and a LOT of work but we only made one trip thanks to expert packing skills by the crew. So, a word of caution to prospective customers - I'm sure what happened to me is not all that common, but fact remains it can and does occur occasionally. Keep this fact in mind as you consider the company you want to contract with for your move. All Out has a good business concept, their prices are competitive and based on my experience they do an excellent job. We are interior designers & used All out movers to help us with a large project which spanned out over the course of over a year with a very large estate. They have been wonderful to work with, organizing the different aspects of the job well by designating spaces for tasks that required different time frames with our various trades people, ie electrical, plumbing, flooring and home decor which all needed different storage spaces and delivery dates. They quoted me $460.00. The day of the day of the move went well. I paid by check. Tipped the movers. A month later, there was a 460. Charge to my bank account. I called them 3 or 4 tines. All Out Movers did an excellent job with a large move from Reno to Arizona. It entailed two 26' trucks and 2 -12' trailers, so no small move. The All Out Movers team also packed most of our home (the two packers in the kitchen area were the best!) and did a great job of packing! FIVE STARS All Out Movers really moved mountains and came through for me in a jam. Friendly, personable, fast, flexible and very experienced. Sometimes we think moving things on a big move on our own is easy but furniture might have another idea and not cooperate leaving you very stressed out and exhausted as which was my case. All Out Movers came to save the day. My Situation: I was moving on my own from Las Vegas to Carson City and knew no one in town. A friend who made the road trip with me had a limited amount of time to help me move my things into my new home before he had to fly out of town. We got everything moved in except one piece of my sectional sofa that would not fit through an angle from the entryway hallway. We determined it needed to be hoisted up to my second level balcony and did not have enough time to go through that process + we had never done anything like that before being amateur movers ourselves. This left me having to decide to leave that piece of furniture in the hallway, it was large enough to not allow the front door to close and it really stressed me out. Luckily I have a locking metal screen door that allowed me to get by before I could get expert help. I went to Google and "All Out Movers" came up first on my search and they had the best rating. The owner Anthony picked up the phone and understood my dilemma. He gave me a fair quote and told me his schedule was tight but that he might be able move some things around to get a crew out to me. Anthony was very understanding and wanted to help. I made several calls to other moving companies in the area where a receptionist would answer, didn't understand my emergency, and would not be able to get to me for almost three weeks. I called Anthony at "All Out Movers" back - he FaceTimed me so he could assess what I was dealing with and was able to get a crew out to me in less than 48 hours. All Out Movers crew Josh and Jonathan arrived and got my furniture in right away. They were so fast and professional with protecting my furniture & hoisting it up quickly with ease. I was super impressed with how they immediately knew what to do. I was so relieved to have my furniture in and my stress level went down to zero. Be very very careful with this company. If they can get by with screwing you over, they will. The first thing they pulled was trying to get us to drive to the truck rental location to use OUR credit card to rent the truck. What moving company does that? My husband refused and miracle of miracles they came up with their own credit card to rent the truck. The move itself went pretty well except the U-Haul truck that they chose absolutely reeked of marijuana so all of our possessions smelled like weed when it was unloaded. Would it hurt to take a minute to look in the back to make sure it's cleaned and doesn't smell so bad that it permeates all of your possessions? After the unload we made a payment to them based on an estimate they had given us earlier because that's the amount Lana told the moving men that day. Imagine the chaos on the day that you're moving. I didn't have time to look at that estimate on moving in day, I just trusted them to do the right thing when asking for final payment. They charged us for a TV box that they never provided, they also charged us two times the gas mileage that was required for the move. I'm sure the cost of the rental truck from U-Haul was over exaggerated also but we didn't even want to get into that. Considering how they treated us, I also didn't bring up the fact that they broke an antique water pitcher of mine in the move. When I finally had time to follow up on this and check the estimate I noticed these irregularities and contacted Lana through email. At first she didn't reply at all and when I finally threatened to write bad reviews she came up with the excuse that my emails were going into their junk folder. Why would a customer's emails be going to a junk folder? We figured out the correct amounts for gasoline and my husband contacted Anthony, the owner by phone. Right away he got defensive and argued about both the TV box and the gas mileage. I asked Lana to provide us with receipts for the gas and she said that she did not have receipts to provide to us. I have an email as proof. However she told my husband on the phone when he was talking with Anthony that she never told me they didn't have receipts.That's an indication right there of the dishonesty of this company. Shame on this company for taking advantage of senior citizens and knowing full well that my husband's mother had just passed, so it was a really difficult time for us. After ranting and raving to my husband on the phone Anthony finally agreed to amend the invoice. We never did get receipts but they did refund our credit card for the TV box and part of the fuel charges. It's just too bad that you have to fight tooth and nail to force companies to do the right thing. Overall, I would tell you to just be careful when you're dealing with them and go over all of the numbers before you pay. read more
