DO NOT HIRE these folks! If I could give negative stars, I would. Take a look at the following link to see the damages they did to our high-end furniture. Broken legs from our dining room chairs, damaged China cabinet where the door got jammed in and couldn't be opened, scrapes, scratches and deep gouges to our antique furniture, 2 very expensive designed glass table tops with ogee bevelled glass were deeply scratched that they have to be replaced. It's obvious they were speeding (they informed me they had to stop at one point to check to see if there was any damage when they drove over a big bump along the freeway). Attached is a text from the owner that he admitted speeding and not packing our belongings correctly (stacking items on top of each other and not double packing and using bubble wrap). If you value your belongings and want it to arrive safely without any damage, look elsewhere. Look at the other Yelp review and see what they did to them and lied about their insurance. Reno Moving is new to Yelp but not to Reno - they have amazing reviews on Thumbtack, which is where I found Stevie + crew and they lived up to every 5 star review they had there. They had super reasonable prices, a truck(!!!) and trailer, and arrived not just on time but a little early for a local move recently. They were professional, fast, and really nice and helpful. When I couldn't quite fit stuff in a box they just grabbed it and said they'd make it work - and they did. I wish I had taken photos of the perfectly packed trailer full of my stuff. Even a plant arrived with not a bit of dirt spilled! Amazing. All of my furniture and breakables arrived intact/in perfect condition. They moved everything through doorways without running into the doorways - I can't even manage that, and it's my stuff! They were great about putting things where I wanted them at the new place, which I feel like is often not the case - movers just want to get your stuff in and be done, leaving me to move a bunch of heavy stuff later. They also removed a headboard and reinstalled it a. perfectly and b. quickly - a previous mover really had trouble with both and this was so much nicer. I have (sadly) moved many times and Reno Moving is up there with the best - at a fraction of the price. PSA: We used "Reno Moving Company" on September 21st to move our refrigerator. After the movers moved it into our temporary garage and left, I soon realized they DESTROYED the fridge. There are deep scratches on the top of one of the doors, the door itself is broken and sags, and the side of the fridge where the dolly was is completely dented. Mind you, our fridge was in brand new condition and 2 years old. I reached out to the owner Steven Romero immediately and he assured me that he would make the situation right and he would file with his insurance. He advised me that he'd be on it with communication and be sure to keep me in the loop. He's done none of that. I've reached out to him multiple times for updates information, a claim # from filing with his insurance. Nothing. I called his "insurance company" to get his policy # to give to our insurance. Unfortunately they don't have a policy listed under his business name nor his personal name. Assuming now he has NO insurance or liability coverage. Sadly I'm left to file through our own insurance and pay out of our own pocket for the damages caused by this "professional" moving company, Reno Moving company. I just want to give everyone in the Reno/Sparks and surrounding areas a heads up to steer clear of this company and their poor customer service and services provided. I would hate for anyone else to be left in the dust and have their personal things destroyed, only to be left to foot the bill. I hired Reno Moving for our business. We were installing new carpet in a 6500 sq. ft. suite but not moving from that suite. Reno Movers came in and moved furniture out of a portion of each area and moved it back as the carpet was completed. This was a week process and they were awesome. I was very stressed about moving (like everyone is), however, move date was just one day after my mothers memorial service (located out of state). Upon my return I was unable to get all situated and packed. Steve (owner), took it all in stride and called someone to help pack the things I hadn't finished, and the movers got everything out of our garage that I had not finished packing. And there was A LOT in the garage. His team was cautious and wrapped all of our heavy and expensive furniture and antiques. And navigated a new home that was almost impossible to bring in the large furniture. And as stressful as moving is, Steve and his team made it manageable and, actually, pleasurable. The workers were so kind and very hardworking. Even worked until 10:30 PM on the second and last day of the move. Seth (the GM) was always calm and collected. Went overboard in many ways.
