Called Jim Wednesday. Sent him photos of what we needed hauled away. Came back with a price, very reasonable. His crew came on Friday, ahead of schedule. Friendly, courteous and professional. Done in no time. Highly recommend Tobey's for all your hauling needs. read more

My elderly mom moved & we needed some junk picked up so she called around - Tobey jumped in to help right away @ an awesome rate! He came by first thing in the morning & loaded up all the junk, swept up the deck for us & charged a very reasonable rate! Call Tobey - he's awesome to work with, a nice guy and local! read more

I would highly recommend Toby's service. He was out very quickly and was very well priced. He and his crew even swept up after they were done loading. Thank you Toby read more

Over the past year, Tobey and team have helped me remove all types of waste from my property. Good guys, communication, and value.

Tobey and his crew were fantastic. Quick response, fast and efficient at the service location. I would not hesitate to use them again for any hauling away services. And their rate was very reasonable. read more

Hand down the best respond and service. I called Tobey for my parents junk pick up before the huge snow storm arrived. I thought its reasonable for anyone that might cancel the service or change another day. But Tobey and his team was show up as promised and they were clean up 2 tracks load with a heavy commercial stove plus good 30 plus years collection of old junk within 2 hours. Tobey and his team are so pleasant to work with and leave no mess at all and very reasonable fee compared the big name company. I can see the old hard work American spirit in this local company. Very very pleased for their service. Thank you! read more

Tobey may not show up with a brand new truck and trailer like the other big name hunks, guys and kings, but what Tobey DOES DO is a great job at a fair price! Tobey is a local man that has been in the business for over 13 years, he is courteous, friendly, honest, shows up on time, gets a job done well and estimates jobs a lot more affordable than the big guys. Trust me, you will be wasting your time searching for a more reasonable value. read more

I had Tobey's Junk & hauling to haul away years of junk from my property. I called on Monday and he showed up on Wednesday. Took a look at what I had, gave me more than a fair price. Took everything and cleaned up and sweep where the junk was. I would definitely recommend them. read more

After almost 30 years in the same house, we'd allowed quite a bit of junk/crap to accumulate in our garage, such that it was shrinking... the garage that is! I sent a communication to Tobey's via their website late Sunday night, received a call back the next day and Jim and Sean were here 2 days later... on time and ready to work. I was so impressed, as they have the right equipment and the right attitude to do the work swiftly and for the price they quoted before they started the work. They even swept the garage thoroughly before departing. Both are great guys and hard workers. Highly recommend these folks! read more

After living in our house for 10 years, with one of us (not me) being a semi-hoarder, our garage had turned into a disaster of junk and trash and empty boxes. So when the time came to clean it up before we put our house on the market I knew I was going to need to hire someone. Not to mention I also had 2 mattress sets, a room of carpet, a broken sofa AND an old door that needed to be dumped. Called Tobey's and was asked to text the information about my job to them. Scheduled an appointment on my day off. They arrived a little after 9am and left around 1130 and did a great job of hauling off everything! What a weight off my shoulders to not have to worry about all of that crap. Would def recommend Tobey's and if we were to need their services again in the Reno/Sparks area I would totally hire them again! Thanks! read more

Omg!! Tobey was incredibly polite on the phone. There was no SQ footage, no apartments being gutted, no confusion. I explained exactly what I had needed to be picked up. He gave me a quote. I had five other quotes I was waiting on. He was very comparable but his prompt curtious phone etiquette sold me. Just a small time vendor making it during COVID. I showed my support to him and his business. I will be using them again. read more

I have only given a review a couple of times because I'm just not into this stuff. When you get the type of service I have gotten from Tobey I think it would be an injustice not to leave another review. I had recently been given 40 days to move from a home I had rented for 13 years. We had so much stuff.... Tobey worked with me and picked up stuff twice for us. He went above and beyond. The second time he not only took twice as much as we had anticipated he and his workers worked straight through over a 100 degree weather and got the job done. He helped clean up our backyard and cleaned up the neighbor's driveway that we had to use to move everything. On top of that, he was very reasonable. I have used his service many times and I have yet to be disappointed. Stop using big companies that overcharge. Use and support local. read more

I don't write reviews very often, in fact maybe two my whole life. If you want fast, efficient service and a great price, this is your man. I added stuff as they were standing there. NO problem. Forgot about the mattress. No problem. Oh yea how about this, still NO problem. Easy going great guy to work with. I called them and they said what day they would be out and called that morning and were here on time ready to work. Would recommend them anytime. Great job read more

We had quite a few boxes in our garage from our recent move to Reno. Tobey was very responsive and reasonably priced. He quickly broke down and removed the boxes - even despite the fact that it was a very windy day, and there was a lot more packaging material in the boxes than originally anticipated. I would definitely use Tobey's services again! read more

The best thing about Tobey's Junk Hauling is when you call, you get TOBEY! I called and left a message and within a few hours Tobey called me back. We discussed what I had to haul and he gave me a verbal "guesstimate". The stuff I had him haul was a HUGE 10ft x 8ft x 3ft old timely entertainment center wall unit. It was BIG and HEAVY. In all fairness you can't really give an accurate estimate over the phone when you are a junk hauler...you can only guess. Tobey arranged to come over the next day and called me when he was on his way. He looked at the job and revised his estimate, we agreed on the price and we were good to go. Tobey and his associate moved the goods and away they drove. He not only saved by back, he saved me from borrowing a truck, he saved me a trip to the dump, he saved me from having to ask a friend help me move it, he saved me time. If you need anything hauled away by a really nice fellow, give Tobey's Junk Hauling a call...you won't be sorry. read more

Toby was great to work with. He gave me options for picking up my junk and called me to try and schedule the pick up a few times. He was super accommodating. He gave me a reasonable price and takes credit cards over the phone. I will definitely call again next time I need a helping hand hauling! read more

I've had to call my fair share of yard clean-up and junk hauling companies. I had to deal with some vandalism recently which left me with a pile of broken furniture, garbage and more odds and ends to count. I called and scheduled a pick-up which they said could be done even without me being home. That was really convenient since I work weekdays and really needed to get this done in a timely manner. They even agreed to take away an old tv that I'd had in my house and they gave me a much better price than if I'd taken it to waste management myself. They were pleasant and responsive. I'd definitely recommend them if you have unwanted items cluttering your property or need to clear out the remnants of a DIY or home improvement project. read more

These guys are great! I had a rental unit garage filled with garbage and junk, they removed everything quickly and swept it up afterwards, all at a fair price. It was a touchy situation with tenants having been evicted and he was completely professional. I highly recommend! read more

If you feel like paying twice as much and loading your own material, rent a 20 yard dumpster from waste mgmt. If you want someone else to load your junk and haul it away call Toby's junk hauling you won't be disappointed. I've used them twice and they have not let me down. Everything you could want from their service.......fair pricing, punctual and FAST. I'm not a huge yelper....trust me they are legit read more

I am an out of town landlord. I recently had a tenant pass away and his family didn't see anything wrong with not paying rent and refusing to give back the keys for a month. Additionally, they "didn't know how" to get rid of the father's bariatric bed or sofa. Ultimately, I was stuck with getting rid of the belongings in order to get the keys back from them. I called Tobey and couldn't have been more satisfied. He is professional and so very helpful! I highly recommend Tobey for any job, regardless of the size. His prices are reasonable, he is dependable and, most important, he didn't hesitate to help me figure out this dilemma. Thank you Tobey! read more

Tobey's a great guy. He's very respectful and courteous. Sometimes you get talked to a certain way because of how you look or the neighborhood you live in. That wasn't the case with Tobey; I felt respected. In addition, he quoted me a price that's almost half of another company's quote. Do not let their less-than-professional-looking truck stop you. I was worried that they would have to do two trips to haul all our junk away, which included 7 mattresses and 2 grills among other things. I was really impressed by the way they packed all that into one load. I will give them a call again in the future for my junk hauling needs. read more

I used Tobey yesterday and couldn't be more pleased. I always try to used locally owned businesses if I can, and he's definitely local, not franchise. He came promptly, removed a couch efficiently, and charged me LESS THAN HALF of what the franchise place quoted. read more

I called Toby's after reading the reviews and so glad I did. He was on time and professional. Yelp was right! He showed up took everything I needed and removed it quickly. I highly recommend his service. read more

Okay maybe the word awesome is overused but that is how I would describe Tobey's Junk Hauling service. He communicates well, shows up on time, and takes care of business for a reasonable price. Awesome. read more

I cut some trees down in the back yard. I had all the stumps, branches leaves to clean up and hauled to the dump. I found Tobey's Junk Hauling on the internet. Spoke with Jim the owner and hauler on the phone, explained the job and he gave me a price. I had him come over in the same afternoon for the clean up.. He showed up on time, came in under quoted price, he was neat, clean and fast. Tobey's is the best. read more

Just had Tobey's come by to pick up an assortment of junk that I've had and I couldn't be more pleased with the service that these gentlemen have provided, plus they swept the area afterwards! Easy quoting and scheduling over text plus friendly service means you should give these guys your business vs the other guys. Thanks Tobey! read more

The guy sent me a message today, over a year later saying I was mistaken and never called him. He's an ass, esp if it takes him over a year to respond to a bad review. It was him and I have witnesses to prove it who were there when we made the call, etc..... read more

I'm cleaning out a big house in Reno that's had several years of renters and their abandoned things. Jim / Tobey's came to help me on two occasions. He gave me a really fair price and works really quickly. I couldn't believe all that junk was gone in under an hour. I wasn't even very organized about it, and he helped me haul crap out of the basement. Very good people. read more

Needed a bunch of junk hauled away which included a large fridge and big tree branch so I called and scheduled a pick up for the next day. They met me at my house on my lunch break where they hauled everything away for a reasonable price. They even swept up my garage which added to the great service they provided. Will definitely use their services again. read more

Since my last review in December we have relocated to Reno from CA. When we had stuff that needed hauling off I knew just who to call....Tobey. He squeezed us in to his schedule that day. Since that day we've had him out 2 more times and as usual he does a great job, works very fast and his prices are always fair. I HIGHLY recommend him. read more
