I spoke with Jeff Glass on Saturday, and after much discussion back and forth, arranged to have him come out a couple of days later and provide an estimate to remove the debris. He and his crew arrived on time, provided a quote that was well within the amount discussed, and quickly loaded the rocks into their trailer. They even swept up the detritus and left the area cleaner than it's been since November. I couldn't have been more impressed or pleased! We saw Russ' listing for doors on Facebook and decided to come in and check it out. Tahoe Basin Reclamation is a large warehouse type space that has so much to choose from. They carry lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, cabinets, and lots of doors and windows! The selection does vary, so you might not always find what you need. But this business does an amazing job at refurbishing and salvaging what they can from old houses. Majority of the items they sell have been salvaged from older homes. They are doing a great thing for the planet and this is a great place to check out if you are looking for a unique piece for your home!

I was told we could take it in and get payment for the metal, donate the value, or just drop off and leave which was the quickest method. Once we took it there, everyone was nice and helpful. We just decided to drop it off. But if I had a lot of metal, I would have them donate the money. It is a great idea.
