First,they show up in a U-Haul and ask US to drive to our new location. They are not insured to drive our belongings. We say "no", the lead guy complains that he has to call to have someone who is insured drive from Carson to Reno to drive the U-Haul to our new house.Right away when they start moving, they make a big dent in the wall at our old house at the bottom of the stairs. The lead mover asks me if he "has to call it in to the owner?" We tell him of course and he rolls his eyes and is annoyed that he has to report this damage. We have nice, new, LG appliances. Washer, dryer & fridge. The whole reason we hired movers was because we didn't want to damage theses specifically. Well now they are ruined. LG Stainless Steel Refrigerator dented and scratched on the visible side, HUGE dent in back grate near connection hose, and the worst is the whole front right door panel is completely scratched up TOP TO BOTTOM.Our blue LG Dryer, scraped all along the front and huge scrapes/dings in the blue paint. There are multiple scuffs (7+) on the walls in our new house. We will repair the scuffs & custom paint, but it is the principle that it was scuffed that many times by so-called "professionals."Our new laminate wood floor was also scratched and scraped. On to the next HORRIBLE thing...The lead guy goes in to my master bathroom, uses the bathroom with me right there and doesn't even ask permission!! So rude and it gets WORSE. He comes out, leaves the toilet seat up, and starts to walk off. I offer soap since there isn't any at my sink yet, and he says, "No, I'm good. I'm just moving stuff and getting my hands dirty anyway." I had no words for the disgust that crossed my face. Ready for this...they also could not physically move the washer, wooden dresser, & sofa upstairs and my husband had to HELP them get these 3 items upstairs or they wouldn't have been moved, as the 2 movers tried multiple times and claimed they had the "wrong appliance dolly." My husband shouldn't have had to lift a finger, however, we are almost 6 hours in to this AWFUL experience and we want it over. He did get a huge bruise on his leg while moving, lucky that was the only injury he sustained. From start to finish, they were with us from 10:00am until 4:20pm, 6 hours *20 minutes of COMPLETE HELL. *And about those 20 minutes, well, the driver that came from Carson COULD NOT PARK OR BACK IN THE U-HAUL! She drove around the block multiple times and tried unsuccessfully to get the truck in an unloading position. So after 20 minutes of her attempts, she is frustrated and visibly upset. So the lead mover jumps in the truck to park it. This is the same guy WHO IS NOT INSURED TO DRIVE OR MOVE THE TRUCK WITH OUR ITEMS IN IT!! BUT NOW HE CAN DRIVE IT?! This was a HORRIBLE move. We had to baby-sit for 6 hours, watching closely as things got damaged here and there. Of course we said something and asked how they could fix all of this. They referred us to the owner, Anthony. So my husband & I both spoke with him and the end result was A FINAL BILL FOR $770!! This is WITH the "discount" he is giving us! $770 DOLLARS FOR THE WORST DAY! Moving is stressful in itself. Then to have ALL of this happen and even be charged is insane. 2 new LG appliances are ruined, floor ruined, I had to repair our walls myself, my husband had to HELP MOVE, the driving incident, the bathroom incident, AND the lead mover got aggressive and in my face after we spoke to the owner. I wrote a check for $700 and told the owner he needed to come to my home to see all of this, then I'd pay him the other $70 if he thought that was fair. I honestly thought after coming to my house and seeing all of this that he'd give us some, if not all, of our money back!!! He didn't require us to pay the $70, but what about ALL OF THE DAMAGE?!! ZERO COMPENSATION. I'm pretty sure if we go to small claims court we will be refunded and possibly awarded more to repair our appliances. ***Update after issues resolved 9/25/17... The owners have paid for the flooring to be repaired and sent a check to repair our dryer. Lana was very detail oriented when wanting to make us happy and fixing the damage. She called an LG specific repairman who came and quoted both appliance repairs. Her and Anthony both came to our home to actually see and photograph the damage. She apologized profusely and was upset and embarrassed with our experience. They fired the head mover that caused so many issues that day. Lana is very professional, and pleasant to work with, even in this awkward situation where we were so upset. Knowing that they wanted to make everything right went a long way and showed their integrity in their business. They had a bad guy working for them, but that could happen to anyone. They fired him and rectified the situation with us. I'm happy with the outcome and appreciative that the owners worked to get everything right. read more

We are doing some remodeling and painting so AOM moved our garage into PODS storage for renovation. They showed up on time and worked consistantly for 4 hours. Carefully wrapped and loaded. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.. The apartment complex where I live underwent a mandatory renovation and this company was hired to help with moving our belongings. During the time of the renovation, I witnessed people from this company dropping, tossing, and mishandling other peoples belongings. Upon the return of MY things, my TV stand was brought back in pieces. When my wife asked for the contact information of the person in charge, they gave her a fake phone number. They must have thought we don't know how to use the internet.. I looked up the information online and contacted Anthony regarding my issues and concerns. I provided photographic proof of the damage per his request. After not hearing back for a week I reached out to him again and was told that they need to investigate the situation. Even though the person I spoke with told me that they received our things in good order and was returned damaged. Many of the others where I live are having the same issue and are also getting no response from the manager/owner. Very disappointing. Never Again. If I could give less 1 star I would. Update- The company has now gotten back to me and have brought us a new TV stand. Because they made it right, I will give them a better review and would consider using them in the future. I'm going to give a 3 star only because it took over a week to hear back from them and because they originally lied to my wife regarding the contact information. read more

This company was recommended by the assisted living facility "The Lodge". We needed to do a local move of a small 550 sq ft apartment out of the assisted living facility. We had packed the apartment and had moved all but 10 boxes and furniture. There was a king mechanical bed that needed taken apart and moved. I was assured by the owner of the moving company that the movers could do this and reassemble the bed at our location. I had moved all of the furniture into the apartment and many additional things in the prior 4 months. This took about 3 hours. I assumed the move-out would take max 3-4 hours with delivery. I received a call that the movers (2) on location were unable to figure out how to dissemble the bed. The movers had been on location for 5 hours. I went to the move site and assisted in disassembling the bed. I assisted finishing the move which took an additional hour. Upon arrival the 2 movers were able to empty the truck and move everything in just over an hour. The mover agreed that he would take care of the cost of the truck due to the time the move took. I spoke with Anthony after the move and expressed my concerns of the length of time the move took. Anthony was not personally involved with the physical move, so was not aware of why the move took so long. He did agree with me having seen the apartment for the moving estimate, that 7-8 hours was too long. Anthony made things right by deducting the cost of the truck and two hours of moving time. I appreciate his willingness to follow up and work towards having satisfied customers. read more

The movers arrived on time and spend the day making two loads across town. Jason and Justin were pleasant and good to work with. They were moving a 2,700 sft home of mostly furniture. All our personal belongings were out already. But we had some heavy furniture like the China Cabinet and the big mattresses. I was impressed that the guys worked without breaks and stuffed the 26' U-haul almost to the roof and we still had a small second load. The furniture was taken out of a one story and put away in a two story where some of the heavy stuff had to go to the top floor. Jason was friendly and would notify me on how it was going. He amazed me on the weight he could lift. Both men were strong and tried to use care with the furniture. They were also concerned to get the furniture to the proper room and Jason was going to hood up the washer and I told him "forget it" my husband could do that. We were just so thankful that we had help in this move because our last move (less than 2 years ago) we moved it all ourselves with some help from our son, and we are Seniors. I don't ever want to do that again at our age because so many things can go wrong with our health. I gave four stars because I am very picky and although it is rare to get perfection, these guys were good. What they thought was going to be a four hour job turned into 8 or 9. So I think next time it might be best to have the supervisor look at the job to give a better estimate of time. I felt bad that they had to stay later when they thought they had another job behind mine. But I was impressed that they stayed to get the job done even though the second load was so small (but it was important as it was the washer and dryer). And I was totally impressed that the supervisor came to meet us and check on his workers. Don't hesitate to use this company and ask for Jason and Justin. read more

Received date/time of estimate to be done. When move fell thru, I promptly notified All-out Movers, and expected acknowledgement of cancellation. Heard back nothing, so emailed cancellation again, and asked for acknowledgement. Morning of canceled date/time, young man arrived and didn't know I had canceled same. I emailed Lona? third time asking what I should think of her reliability. Once again, no response. I drove to office at 1894 E. William, Suite 4-640. That address is very small business complex, maybe 5 businesses. There is no All-Out Movers occupying an office there. read more

Moving is always hard. Having movers that do a great job despite a few small obstacles was great. All Out Movers called and coordinated in a timely fashion. They showed up when scheduled with the truck and efficiently moved everything out of the storage unit. Despite not having a driver for the moving truck, which was a little weird, All Out Movers gained back all the stars by the job they did moving my stuff into the house. Despite being two skinny guys, they loaded all that furniture and heavy boxes of books in under the estimated time. They even organized all the boxes according to what room they went in in nice little piles which was a helpful surprise. Despite, "Not liking people from California," as the moving guy said, he was extremely nice to us. Helpful with assembling the coffee table and putting heavy furniture where it needed to go. Dude, I don't like California either, that's why I left. Nevada IS better. read more

I've moved about 30 times in my life, at least 20 as an adult. And boy do we have moving stories that would make you decide to just stay in the house you have now! Today's with ALL OUT MOVERS was a very good move. We've moved two blocks down the street, we've moved across country, we've moved from college to our first job across country and we've moved internationally. Some moves were on our own (100% packed, loaded, transported and unloaded by us); some moves were employer-paid door to door, and a few like today's - our pocket book, but their muscles: we packed in one city; hired loaders, then hired a transport company (U-Pack - a great option) to truck it across country. And here we are in Carson City, looking for someone to be the muscles for us. Called several places, all seemed fine but then called All Out Movers. Talked w/ both Lana and Anthony on two separate calls. Each time personable, proactive, professional, knew what they were talking about. Gave us reasonable bid/cost estimate, were clear on items/situations that could cost more or less. Last minute call from me the day before the move about the challenges of the the particular trailer and its ramp were understood by Anthony - they've had experience with that type of ramp and the crew (Jason and Rich!) were briefed and knew what to do. Our assigned team, Jason and Rich, worked hard and straight through.... I had to practically cajol them to stop for a water break a couple of times. They were quick, accommodating to a few initial changes in organizing the landing, caught on quickly to my madness's method, incredibly safe and sure with the heavy stuff. They kept us apprised as to the load's positioning/condition as they worked their way through the trailer.... overall: excellent communicators, cheerful workers, efficient, quick, strong and competent. Bill closure had no surprises, all was done in the time estimated. While I can't judge them against anybody else in town, with my extensive roster of moving experiences (and many of them distressing) ..... I can say I'd be confident that any future move I make here and using All Out Movers I'd have an equally satisfactory result as today's. And, hands down one of the best moves in my extensive roster. Avoid this company at all costs. They're terrible. After confirming with them that I would have four movers and supplies for the move, they sent two movers and no supplies. This company requires that you have and drive your own truck, that's fine, but they left the movers at my house with no transportation of their own. They asked me to take them to lunch and to get snacks. Bizarre. In the end, a job that was supposed to take 5 hours stretched to around 9 hours and forced us to miss in important event that night. I informed the company that I had an event and that they told me we would be done in time and asked for them to return the next day and they refused. When we went back to our old house there were whole drawers and closets that they hadn't packed. At the end of the day the movers expressed their displeasure that I was not tipping. Avoid this company! We like to use local companies but this isn't the one to use. We scheduled two moves one day right after the next. (Our house and our parents) The movers came 2 hours late on the first day and 8 hours late on the second day. They were scheduled to arrive both days at 8-8:30 am both days. Arrived the first day at 10:30, the second day 5 p.m!!! The second move wasn't finished until 10:30 pm. We were charged $120 for travel time for the movers both days. (One of the movers lived around the corner from us) When I called the office and emailed to discuss the bill my call/email was not returned. With this being said, the movers were very kind and knowledgeable. The first moving day we were told one of the movers was sick, but in talking to them neither was scheduled to work that day. The second move the movers didn't realize we were on the schedule for 8-8:30 am. I actually felt sorry for them being put in the middle of it. I have shared this information with our realtor so that they're aware of how this company is run. read more

DO NOT USE!! Furniture was broken and was noted on the day of delivery- no problem they said, just submit a claim. Glass pieces were broken. Picture frames were all scratched- they were just laid flat and unwrapped in a box. Some frames were completely damaged because the box they used did not fully cover the picture; they used the frame as the end of the box and then taped it, tearing off the finish. Tools from the garage were broken because they were not "packed" but were just thrown into the box. Saw blades unwrapped were thrown in with garden tools. And some items (car moldings) were too big for the box and so they just bent them to fit. Some of the screws from an entertainment center were removed and never packed. Bolts on a brass bed frame were sheared off. And the list goes on - almost $1900! I have sent several letters- they have refused delivery and will not answer my request for payment for damages. It took days to get a final invoice from them. When I did. It was marked paid in full! THEN ON MY CREDIT CARD BILL I NOTICED A CHARGE FOR OVER $1800. I DISPUTED THE CHARGE AND THEY COULD NOT JUSTIFY THE CHARGE. Note- from some research I did this is not the only time they have not paid a damage claim. BEWARE!!!! read more

Find another company if you don't want to be overcharged and then lied to regarding your refund of the overcharged amount. Their employee even stated we were only going to be charged a total of $300. We had already paid $150 deposit and after job was done we were only supposed to pay another $150. Instead they charged $410 after job was done. For a total of $560, not $300 like we were quoted and that their employee verified when talking to someone on phone. NO contact or paperwork of any kind. read more

Our move could have been a complete disaster but All Out Movers with Anthony at its helm saved the day for us. We are so grateful to Anthony. We were in the middle of a move. We were loading the truck when the guy helping me got very sick very fast and had to quit helping me. I finished loading the other half of the truck myself which was exhausting. Quite a task when I am almost 60. My dilemma was that there would be nobody to help me unload the truck and move the furniture into a storage unit in Carson City. So I started calling around and Anthony responded within minutes. We made arrangements to meet him at our storge location. He was right on time and helped unload the truck and load it up into our storage unit. He did most of the work himself. He was very methodical and organized. He unloaded everything onto the driveway infront of the storage unit first so that he could figure out the best way to load the storage unit in order to make sure everything would fit. I loaded the storage unit like a puzzle and did a wonderful job. Anthony was a breath of fresh air considering earlier in the morning the guy I hired to pick up the u-Haul and help me with the move did not even bother to show up, so I had to scrammble to get another helper in the morning who unfortunately got sick. Cannot recommend these guys enough. Called them at the last minute when another local mover left us hanging with no help. Called All Out Movers and they were more than willing to help out and sent 2 guys over within an hour. Explained we needed help loading and unloading the heavier items we had. They got most of what we needed done quickly and carefully, and even stayed an extra hour to ensure we had all the bigger items moved. I debated on 4 or 5 stars.... but ultimately decided, since I would recommend with confidence, it was worthy of a 5. I had received a few moving quotes, but had chosen to go with a All Out, even though they were higher priced, because they had a solid business. I wasn't just getting someone showing up to move stuff. This was important to me, because I was not home for my move. I was living elsewhere when my home closed, and I had to get everything moved and cleaned. Now- moves are stressful any way, and not without their own missteps ... and I will say there were a couple of small things that made me worry during the move, but all in all, at the end, when I arrived 2 days after the move to just check on things, my expectations had been met. The staff is friendly, service oriented. I was a little concerned that the mover didn't seem to be aware no one would be home on his first call to me.... (since that was why I had gone with the more expensive co. in the first place....) but he redeemed himself when I realized he was just trying to keep me in the loop. They followed my instructions left and called me to verbally review the list to ensure everything had been covered. Some things have been misplaced, but I trust they are here, and that happens in any move. They significantly underquoted me, but I did have the option to stop the move at any time to stay in budget, but I knew I had left the move in less of a condition I had promised on the day of the quote. They went easy on me for the cleaning fee as a courtesy I think for the higher than anticipated moving fee. Whatever the reason, it was appreciated. They did have to wait for an insured driver, as others have noted, but they called me and stopped the clock. They assembled my beds for me and did a nice job. They put furniture post pads under my furniture so I could move the heavy stuff if I wanted it in a diff spot upon my return, without damaging the floors. This was not your average move.... I had lock boxes with keys, dog sitters, permission slips, 2 pages of instructions.... there was a lot to coordinate, and they literally owned it and moved EVERYTHING. Even the cupboards I didn't think they'd touch, that I didn't have time to pack. Thanks! I know stuff happens with any move- but I would feel confident recommending All Out. I can't speak to the problem resolution, as I didn't have any items to resolve, but I did have to ask a few follow up questions days later, and I did get responses that were prompt. read more
