Moving is a lot of things--exciting, stressful, time-consuming, expensive--and it can be hard to decide what's most important. At the end of the day, though, you want the people moving your things to be professional, trustworthy, and reliable. We had only a short experience with Full Service Moving, but it was an extremely good one. Another moving company (Anytime Anywhere Piano & Moving) cancelled on us literally at the last minute (and we only found out when I texted the evening before and they said they weren't coming). So, at 6 pm the night before our move, I called to see if any well-rated mover would answer the phone, and Full Service picked up. Without any drama, Eric found out what we needed, gave us a fair quote, and promised (when I doubled-down on asking for confirmation b/c of our bad experience with Anytime Anywhere) that they would show up. Even over the phone, he sounded trustworthy, and although they were coming to do our small piano move at the end of the day after a larger job, I didn't doubt they'd show up. Eric made good by texting twice during the day with arrival updates. He showed up on time, and with his colleague, carried our piano into the house to protect our wood floors. Unfortunately, there was a tight corner and they couldn't put it in the room we'd hoped. After they left, my husband called to see if they thought it would fit in a different location that we thought of later. Eric was very understanding and even offered to come back the next day to help troubleshoot it. Throughout the whole experience, my husband and I were extremely impressed by how knowledgeable, reliable, and professional Full Service Moving was. To start off this company I cannot recommend enough, they took a huge load off of me. Talk about professional their 10's, and they come ready to work and not fumbling and stumbling around wasting time. What I'm saying is you get your money's worth with this company. I moved across country from a 2000 sq ft home to 1100 sq ft apt. With no storage, they started unloading just what we needed in the process had to unload around third of a 26' Uhaul these two gentleman set up our king bed placed everything where we needed it, and then reloaded the truck we drove to the storage where they unloaded everything, wow is all I can say. It was hot I never heard any complaining just keep working. This job ended up 3hours, two guys! This is the second time I have used Eric and his team for a move. This was an emergency move on a Saturday to help an elderly couple rearrange their bedroom after the wife had a debilitating stroke. He fit us in over a weekend within 24 hours of my call. He and his helper did an amazing job of taking apart and moving a tricky and heavy bed and replacing it with a daybed. Showed up early. Said there would be 3 guys, 2 showed. 3rd was to be there at 10am. Never showed up. Texting, answering calls while paid by the hour. Took them 3 hrs to unload truck! Easiest part. Helper was grabbing boxes with dolly then taking each box off & stacking them instead of just removing dolly all at once. (Wasting time at $150/hr) Sprung $200 for truck on me at appt to see what I had in house. Then extra $50/hr for guy who never showed cuz it would take less hours. I have a 1200 sq foot house with everything mostly already gone but my master & patio furniture. Took them 7 hours! They didnt wrap anything or pad it as it all got damaged & I paid over $1000 for this. Various items were damaged. Broke my brand new stone for remodel, brand new metal barn door scratched & dented(gave me $100 off, $300 door & said "You can fill it in w/paint), chair pieces, fountain, PELOTON, vanity! Damage to brand new desk & dresser, scratches, dinged the walls(freshly painted & door jams just replaced) took door off & left it. Black marks on my brand new sofa! (They didn't even move) I messaged owner after I found more items damaged today while unpacking & he blocked me on fb so I couldn't leave a review. Would not recommend. Overpriced. No hustle, and no respect for your items. Also, my brand new white banister is covered with black fingerprints. I didn't even touch my banister yesterday because I was dirty from helping move. I was terrified at the prospect of moving a bunch of heavy and expensive furniture up three stairs from my townhome in Incline Village to a new home about 5 miles away.
